Setup.exe is not an application validates window32

During the installation of my load runner software error message shows that "the E:\loadrunner\setup.exe is not an application validates window32 ' what should I do :(

In general, this message simply means that the file is not recognized as an executable file (despite the *.exe extension). This first, I would check before other things: go to 'setup.exe' > (right click) properties and look for the file type. What did he say?

  • Cannot install Windows 7 Home of the installation disc. -E:\setup.exe isn't an application valid win 32 what that means?

I want to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7.  My disc of Windows 7 Home Premium (32 bit) could not run with the following message "E:\setup.exe is not a valid win 32 application.  I also tried my 64-bit installation disc and it failed also. They are of genuine discs purchased from a well known local firm.  What can I do now?

    Hello

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

  • Error message: Setup.exe - Ordinal not found - the 62 ordinal could not be locatedin the dynamic library CSCDLL.dll, Quickbooks 2012 run

    Original title: error Ordinal 62
I received the following error sporadically when I try the accounting version of Quickbooks 2012.  Accordingly, it does not run Quickbooks on my desktop but it allows me to run on my laptop.  Help, please.  "Setup.exe - Ordinal not found - the 62 ordinal could not be locatedin the CSCDLL.dll dynamic link library.

    Hello

You can try the following steps and check.

    Method 1:

Check if there is a cscui.dll C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.

The cscui.dll does not exist by default in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.

If you find the cscui.dll on the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 you can try right click and rename the cscui.dll to cscui.old.

    Method 2:

You can run scanning of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer that will replace missing or corrupt files & check if the problem persists.

For more information, you can consult the following link.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    Method 3:

You can also perform a clean boot and check.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

  • VB6 sp6 package setup.exe will not register files/deivers

    Hello
I wrote several applications in VB6.  Send us these requests to clients for my product configuration in the field.
I use the package Wizard and deployment of VB6 SP6
When the visitors in the field run the setup.exe, they get the error-
An error occurred when registering the file 'C:\Windows\System32\hid.dll '.
This happens to a lot of files - such as Ws32_32.dll, setupapi.dll, mswinsck.ocx...
I read that it has to do with SysWOW64 seen pre-compiled drivers inside who are older than VB6 has access revision to, and that the vb6 setup.exe which is part of the package cannot update drivers SysWOW64.

Is there a way to make a vb6 package that installs on Windows 7?  If not is there at least a way to remove the errors, so that customers are not, the application is running.

    Thank you
    Martin

  • Turbo Tax CD setup.exe file not available in Explorer. CD is listed in the Explorer with an Apple on the drive.

My Turbo Tax CD does not start automatically with the initial insertion in the CD player.  The CD is listed in the Explorer with an Apple on the drive.  The Explorer does not list the file setup.exe on the CD.  However, he lists a few other folders.  I use Vista to try to load the CD.  The CD does very well on my XP computer.  Is there a problem with Vista with the CD that are for MAC and Windows PC?

    Hi Undertaker Farmer,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

    • You get the error message?
    • What is the edition of Windows vista installed on the computer?

TurboTax is a non-Microsoft program and we are not trained in this regard. However I will try my best to help you. Please, follow these tips and see if it works.

As a work around you perhaps activate the AutoPlay for the CD and check if the auto play works.

When you turn automatic playback, you can choose what should happen when you insert different types of digital media into your computer. For example, you can choose what digital media player is used to play CDs. When AutoPlay is disabled, you are prompted to choose what you want to do when you insert media files in your computer.

    1. Open AutoPlay by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, on material and audioand then click AutoPlay.
    2. Do one of the following:
      • To turn AutoPlay on, select the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices check box.
      • To turn AutoPlay off, clear the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices check box.
    3. Click Save.

You can also try to copy all the contents of the CD to the hard drive and try to install and check.

You can also try to run the file Setup from the command prompt and check what is happening.

Click Start and type cmd and press enter in the command prompt window type the following command : \setup.exe and press ENTER.

See also the link below for the site of TurboTax on the requirements and check if your computer meets the condition.

  • Setup.exe does not work on vista64 World Book CD of nas

I am trying to install a hard drive Western Digital NAS World Book software on a vista 64-bit operating system.  I inserted the CD, double-click setup.exe, and nothing happening (get brief hourglass).  SELECT and Rt click setup.exe run as administrator has the same results.  This software CD worked fine on one of my XP systems.

Thanks again.  Nothing in Event Viewer (I learned something about the viewer and that's a good thing).

Contacted support of Western Digital (M - F only bankers hours).  It turns out that programs on the CD-ROM is not compatible with vista64.

The research of their knowledge base on 'vista 32 64 bit' has a faq, saying that the product works with vista64.  No need to download different software.

Will support.wd.com gave several icons of product to choose.  I chose the storage network (drive represents the drive of My Book World network storage) went to download piked global icon of the book and downloaded the installation software that does not work either.  TS had me all first choose the MyBook icon then took the same global icon of the book and downloaded the installer and it worked fine.

There was a single element in the knowledge base data (software cd not compatible with 64 V go...) in response to a query of 64 bit vista it saved us a lot of time. Extremely poor web supported but the phone was very good (if you are a banker).

Torrents are not the safest way to get the software.

    1. it could be malicious.

    3. is it Compatible Windows 7?

    4. don't you right-click on the setup.exe > run as administrator to install it (hoping that all the time that it is not a Virus)
