SFCB-vmware_base [6745]: LsaFindUserByName: 40008

I have configured my ESXi servers to send messages to a syslog server and I have configured the syslog server to send me any errors. For all of the 20 of my servers, I noticed that I get the following error message:

SFCB-vmware_base [6745]: LsaFindUserByName: 40008

I get the same message 7 times every 5 minutes on all servers.

Is it really an error? If not, is it possible to configure it to not be categorized as an error when it is sent to the syslog server?

Cannot run the DSET PE R730xd OM 8.3 report

Hi all

You try to run a report DSET using 3.7.0.219 build and get the following error in CentOS 6. The server is a PE R730xd with the OM 8.3 running on it.

SBLIM-OBA (CIMOM) validation is not successful.

For installation the DSET successfully, reinstall or upgrade sblim-sfcb for the operating system media.

I tried to re - install the sblim-OBA, but it did not help. The file says redhat-release Redhat Release for OM works correctly.

Any help would be appreciated. Can I use the old version 2.2 with no problems.

OK I fixed the problem. I uninstalled package sblim-sfcb is that with the app DSET and then was able to install DSET locally. I still can't get one to work, but at least I can get what I owe more than Dell.

Find (weekly) missing date ranges based on the Date of submission

Nice day:
I have a table that contains the data with a date of presentation of the report column. If the requirements are that each employee must submit at least 1 weekly report beginning January 1, 2015, how can I find the weekly reports missing, based on the date of submission of reports.
The ideas that I had:
- Left join by partition by date (range between)
- Create a date dimension view?
Of course, I'm not sure how to approach this dilemma without creating a query of Monster. Sometimes the simplest queries mistake me...

Machine virtual auto migrate to host another cluster HA.

I have 3 ESXi hosts in a HA cluster. I was enable vMotion for HA cluster it.
But, when I migrate a virtual machine to a new normal host, then one day it automatically migrate to the former host.
P/S: 3 hosts no stopping us running
So, can you help me solve this problem of the case.

Here's the whole story. Your host is restarting a few reasons and that is why its tilting the vms to other available hosts.

Vami centOS-6 problems, 6 x86_64 didn't start the Scheduler Service

Are other people successfully building CentOS-6 6 x86_64 machines with vmware studio?
I was finally able to build a device of CentOS x86_64 6.6 in vmware-studio after I added zlib and i686 glibc.
and now when I start the machine I can't use vamicli for upgrade.
Can anyone offer suggestions for me so that we can update these devices? -Thank you

VMware-cmd returns just a bunch of info on ESXi server config

Hi all!
I try to use the command vmware-cmd to some changes, I would like to see on some virtual machines from script. I'm running into a problem however, when I run ANY vmware-cmd command I get a bunch of settings to configuration of the host and the virtual machines (at least from what I can tell).
For example, if I run:

The command vmware-cmd is a legacy control and one that I use a lot to manage anything in vSphere 5 + in addition it can be used remotely today.

The alternative is vmware-vim-cmd or vim - cmd, see also: Vmware-vim-cmd

The first part of this file is readable, more party to the end step.

Look for the the CMTF stack dump it.

For example, search for BlueScreen.

How to create the user to access the web console to Vcenter Server Appliance

The default console is located at https:// < ip >: 5480
For VC apparatus, the user who has access by default is root. Can I create another user level system and grant him access to the console?
I tried to create a user by useradd m consoleuser and changed the passwd... However, I am not able to connect to the web console with this user...
On a similar note, can I give access to the console to a user of the AD?

It is probably not supported by VMware, but it seems they're locking access web console rules of pam.

You must modify the /etc/pam.d/vami-sfcb file to change the reading of the line "auth required pam_succeed_if.so uid eq 0' to succeed/deny rule change.»

For example, you can change the line to read "auth required pam_succeed_if.so uid > = 0' and then allow any user with a UID of 0 or more to connect to the console of the web."

When you try to upgrade to vCenter Server Appliance 5.1.x to vCenter Server Appliance 5.1 update 1, the update process stops an hour and the status of update to the user Web interface shows as installation of updates. However, subsequently, the update is properly an hour.

vSphere 4.1 U3 restarts

I have 2 Supermicro servers with vSphere 4.1 update 3 build 800380 installed with injected vmware-esx-drivers-net-ixgbe_400.3.9.13-1vmw.2.17.249663.697530. The iso file has been customized by ESXi-Customizer - v2.7.
Servers works fine except one thing. They randomly restarts by themselves. I say once a week. I was looking on the logs for messages by I don't see anything useful for me.

I have a bunch of logs, difficult to read, but I know one that shows the State of ESXi at this point in time. I mean not the logs between vCenter and ESXi host, but all newspapers as purple, driver screen falls down or hardware failure.

As mentioned above, ESX would CMTF in the case of PFs or cpu blocks but don't restart. I must say, none of the officers in ESXi will re-start the server itself, what could made us change notice to the material itself excluding the intrusion of a hard person reset the server.

All communications of the db is made via the connection db defined in your application. Here, you set the user who speaks of the db. If this user has the power to hire you should be able to commit. You can use security adf to grant the insert, update, and delete on EO in your application to roles that belongs to the user of your application. I you have not done so each user of the application should be able to commit.

Hello world
Just wandering if there is a way of eyebrows the directory structure on an individual esx / I the host through vMA?
That is to say, to the list of stores in vmfs/volumes /.
I had a quick look and the thing about farm I came to was alive.
Also as a side note I found partially a sequel to display data stores as it should under the /folder. However, it seems to be a problem with this and it is easier to explain the ssh from sessions.
Anny ideas or comments on this would be much appreciated.

Yes, as mentioned in the last answer, take a look at the vSphere SDK for Perl utilities. It is installed on the vMA in native mode and the documentation provides the path to the dsbrowse.pl utility.
