SFE2000 and SNMP Configuration Switch SGE20x0
Hello
I'm looking for the OID of the memory, but I can't find them. I found the mib to SGE20x0, who also works for the SFE2000 here switcch
http://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=282414067&softwareid=283415684&release=3.0.0&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest , but there is no OID pick-up for memory. Is no OID for memory available?
Concerning
Jürgen
Hi Jürgen, the information contained in the link is the information documented and supported.
If the OID / name of the object is not listed you want is essentially not supported.
If you haven't already done so, you can try to walk to the database and analyze the results to see if there is anything close to what you want.

Before we begin, I want to say that I saw "' responses to my question, but never exactly what I'm looking for, so I create a new post. I'm not a network engineer, so please forgive my ignorance.
We are a public library. We have a network that includes a number of branches, through the central site of the main library. We show an ASA firewall. We have a Cisco3825 for local and a series of Cisco2800 Internet connection. We use a system of 192.168.xx.xx, using DHCP network. We have a number of PCs that are on the network access to the public and they are locked by using various software that prevent people to do much except get Internet.
What we want to do is to put the public pc in their own network, always using our Internet connection, but not allowing them to see or access one of our 192. addresses.
We bought a Linksys SFE2000 and it is my understanding that if I use it as a layer 3 switch, we can do what I suggested above. However, I get so far and I reached my level of incompetence! We want that all the public pc to come through the SFE2000 and although about allowing the public to use a wireless connection (but that is located).
Can anyone offer suggestions or point me to a site that will help me? Thanks in advance and again, sorry for my ignorance. I look forward to hearing from anyone.
Well, the router must have at least one interface. If the interface is used otherwise you can simply run it through the router as well.
If you want to use the features of the ESF L3 basically configure you the VLAN as I've mentioned before. You enable L3 on the ESF, then you configure filtering on the ESF for the VLAN 'public '. Drop everything that goes in your charge of private VLAN.
The problem is the connection to the router. We must define a new IP subnet for routing between the CPE and the Cisco. So, basically you will need a 3rd VLAN to connect with the Cisco. You can use a very small for this IP subnet if you wish. For example, add VLAN3 with IP address 192.168.99.101/255.255.255.252. The port on the Cisco configure IP address 192.168.99.102/255.255.255.252. On the ESF, set the default gateway 192.168.99.102. Who should route all internet traffic to the Cisco.

5548, 7048 - PowerConnect backup SNMP configuration
Hello
I Powerconnect 5548 and 7480 switches and I would like to know if it is possible to backup with TFTP and SNMP commands configuration files, like I do with my cisco switches?
Thank you.
You should be able to use rlcopy which is OID.1.3.6.1.4.1.89.87
Location of the source Rlcopy.1.3.6.1.4.1.89.87.2.1.3
Rlcopy the ip address of destination.1.3.6.1.4.1.89.87.2.1.9
Updates of the firmware also contain the mib files, so you can find the OID http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=JRCF6&fileId=3365034200&osCode=NAA&productCode=powerconnect-5524&languageCode=EN&categoryId=NI

Hi, I have Internet data in my package and I just switch to an iPhone a 4S 5, I have to change my number to my new sim card and all is works well but when I go out I do not receive my internet, No 4 G or 3 G appears in the corner, everything is turned on?
Contact your carrier and make sure that your account is configured correctly. Then go to settings/general/to comments and press the network name; This will cause the exceptional carrier updates to install (you will see a dialog box saying if an update is needed). In addition, go to settings/general/reset - Reset network settings if none of these fix. You will lose the WiFi passwords, but nothing else.

OK to mix 'of connection to the switch"and"close relay switch?
Hi all
I'm developing a test sequence using the card multiplexer 2527 to the track signals. To configure the card, I use DAQmx switch functions. In my application, I have a Subvi routine that imports the data from a spreadsheet Setup and run a loop for to set the configuration for each step (each iteration of the loop contains the channel for 2527 card information). The topology is set on the first iteration, as well as the configuration of the path to the first string.
My concern is this: I need to close the extra channels/relays without changing the topology or resetting the device. In the first round, I use "connection to the switch" function to set the initial path, (ch0 to com0 for example). Then in subsequent iterations of the loop, I use "Relay close switch" function to close the additional channels individually (for example k2). In the end, when the measure is taken, both ch0 ch2 must be closed and routed to com0. This implementation is so sure, or am I somehow to make the adjustments to the initial loop?
I would like to test this with the hardware, but it is not yet available.
Also, I realize that I could use independent topology and configure all relays individually for each step, but I hope that my approach will be easier and safer.
Please notify. Thank you.
GSinMN
Hello GSinMN,
It's OK to mix 'of connection to the switch"and"Close relay switch"If you understand what's happening below. "Switch Connect" connects two channels by closing a path of relay between the channels, then "Close relay switch" can be used to change the State of the individual relays. If you are not careful you can mess up your connection by activating / deactivating relays that are part of the route connecting your channels.
"Also, I realize that I could use independent topology and configure all relays individually for each step, but I hope that my approach will be easier and safer."
I would recommend the topology independent if you want to stick with connections to channels only. http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/375472G-01/switch/2527_independent/
Initial connection:
CH0-> pcom0
pcom0plus-> icom0plus
pcom0minus-> icom0minus
icom0-> com0
In each future iteration just connect to the next to pcom0 channel (which will be indirectly connect it to com0):
CH1-> pcom0
CH2-> pcom0
...

Controll SFE2000 and dissemination
Hello world
You can configure the limits of broadcast by port in SFE2000?
Thank you.
Hi Andre,
Yes, you have the option to pay on a per-interface basis the broadcast packet and multicast storm, see my screen capture below from the SFE2000 big brother the SGE2000P. The operating system is basically the same on the SFE2000 and SGE2000 the.
If you have the rate limiting already defined on an interface that it will take precedence over the limits of the diffusion rate that you set.
Best regards, Dave

Question about KB 2033173 - SNMP configuration
Hi guys, I have a question about KB 2033173. It is said
below is an example of the host SNMP Configuration profile:
Port 161
Community
Community 10.0.0.1@0 receiver
[...]
Please note that the recipient's address contains a space, not a "/" as input to the command line.
I wonder why the "10.0.0.1@0"? I think it should be "10.0.0.1@161" because the port number is 161. Thank you.
Yes, you are correct and also keep in mind that there is a lot of difference with the SNMP agent without traps (use the port UDP/161) and SNMP agent with traps (use port UDP/162).

SNMP Configurations require vCenter?
I am running vCenter on top a pair of cluster 2 ESXi hosts 4.1.0u3. I have configured the Protocol SNMP configurations is vCenter to point to our appropriate receiver.
A few questions come to mind with this, can someone enlighten me please!
Although the SNMP configuration is applied in the vCenter settings, they need to be configured on each host ESXi? If so, how it works?
On a separate scenario (has nothing to do with the above), I have 2 ESXi hosts running ESXi 4.1.0u3 - but they are not in a cluster and do NOT contain a vCenter Server.
How can I go about configuring SNMP for each of these individual ESXi hosts?
Thanks for the help guys prerequisites!
I remember using vcli for the same. Discover this useful KB

I lost my iPhone 5 and the "Cell" switch is off. How can I turn back on from another phone so I can activate "Find my phone"?
You can not. There is no method to remote turn on/off all the settings on the phone. The only thing you can do is put it in mode lost through the computer and it remains to be seen if the device connects to a known Wi - Fi network. Otherwise, you'll just go out and pick up the old-fashioned way. You have it in Mode plane, or you just disable cellular data?

Re: Equium L40 - Windows 7 and the wireless switch
I upgraded my Equium L40 to Windows 7 and now, wireless equipment and F8 function switch switch the WLAN on and outside. It is permanently.
Also, even if it is enabled in the Windows 7 power options, close the lid won't be thecomputer to sleep. If I close it turns off the screen but doen't make Windows 7 options.
When I upgraded to Windows 7, I chose the option to do as a new installation and therefore lost my Vista installation.
I have download all the drivers for Windows 7 on the Toshiba site, even if there were not many.
Is there something else I need to do for the WLAN switch and cover works with Windows 7? Any help gratefully received.
See you soon,.

Backup and managing configurations on ONS 15454 devices
We have a lot of ONS 15454 and CiscoWorks LMS 4 apparently does not support these devices (I can't pick the cards ML1000 configurations or configs of chassis).
Can I save the configurations of the STC cards/chassis using the CTC? I see a backup option of database under maintenance contract, but I'm not entirely of this make. Basically, I want to assure you that if one of these devices suffers a hardware failure, I have backups of the way in which the circuits are provided.
Is there a better tool to use?
Any advice would be great
For nodes to backup through the CTC, the Cisco ONS 15454 procedure Guides describe the steps to be taken to save the nodes (section below the latest version is:)
Cisco Transport Manager is a management system of item available for the largest optical networks and has features to back up the databases of several nodes.
=========
NTP-A108 back up the database
Goal
This procedure saves a backup version of the TCC2/TCC2P (software) database on the workstation running Cisco transport (CTC) controller or a network server.
Tools/equipment
None
Pre-trial proceedings
None
Required / have required
Mandatory. Cisco recommends to perform a backup of database at intervals of about a week and before and after configuration changes.
Onsite / remote
On-site or remotely
Security level
Maintenance or higher
Note You need to back up and restore the database for each node on a path of the circuit in order to maintain a complete circuit.
Note The following settings are not backed up and restored: node name and Internet Inter - ORB Protocol (IIOP) port. If you change the name of the node and restore a backup of a database with a different node name, the circuits map to the new node name. Cisco recommends keeping a record of the old and new node names.
Step 1 Complete the "DLP-A60 Log into CTC" task at the node that you want to back up. If you are already connected, go to step 2.
Step 2 Click it maintenance > Database tabs.
Step 3 Click on backup.
Step 4 Save the database on the hard drive of the workstation or network storage. Use a file name with the extension of .db file. for example, database.db.
Step 5 Click Save.
Step 6 Click OK in the confirmation dialog box.
Stop. You have completed this procedure.
