  • Cisco Network Assistant

    Hello

Anyone know how really peripheral can be added in the community and manage through CNS version 6? I read on the website of cisco that Cisco Network Assistant can support up to 40 aircraft in the community, I don't know if it was for the previous ANC 5.0 version as shown in the link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/cloud-systems-management/network-assistant/product_data_sheet0900aecd8068820a.html for switches 40 or less while watching in the version 6.1 of the ANC data sheet , he also mentions the community limiting to 40 devices while the following link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/cloud-systems-management/network-assistant/datasheet-c78-730210.html shows that for switches 40 or less. Will be looking forward to seeing the answers.

    Thank you

    Hi Waydee

Please refer to the for Cisco Network Assistant Release Notes 6.0 and later versions , where you can find all of the changes. In summary the community limits are same (max 40) compared to the old version (5) of the CNA.

  • Disable or wiping "Cisco Configuration Professional Express."

    Hello

We use a new Cisco1921-SEC/K9 comes with a new IOS (15.2 (4) M1). To use the feature of SSL - VPN from outside we activeted 'secure http server. I tried to check the security of the inside (we use ZBF) and it appeared a "Cisco Configuration Professional Express" Web page with Java "and so on" - brrr - who designed this thing?

Now us whant to disable or wiping the "Cisco Configuration Professional Express." Subtract the *.pkg and *.cfg flash with charging has not worked.

How can we remove this 'Cisco Configuration Professional Express', because we do not like ist! I can't find a flag to config or something in the flash...

    Grüße

    Steve

    Steve,

You can follow the procedure in the CCP Admin Guide (here) for the withdrawal of CCP.

TL; DR.? Well (2 c seems to be specific to an AP installation):

To uninstall the Cisco CP Express Admin View of the router flash memory, perform the following steps:

Step 1 On the router, go to the directory in which Cisco CP Express Admin View files using this command:

    router# cd flash:

Step 2 Use the delete command to remove all Cisco CP Express Admin display the files and folders of the router flash memory.

Note Ensure that you delete the files extracted from the ccpexpress27Admin.tar file and the ccpExpress_ap_express - security.shtml.gz.

    a. remove the home.shtml file:

    router# delete /force /recursive home.shtml

    b. delete the ccpexp folder:

    router# delete /force /recursive flash:ccpexp

    c. remove the file ccpExpress_ap_express - security.shtml.gz in the folder ap802-xxxxx-xx.xxx-xxx.xxx/html/level/15/ of the AGP flash memory:

    ap# delete flash:/ap802-ccw7-mx.124-25d.JAX/html/level/15/ccpExpress_ap_express-security.shtml.gz
  • Cisco Network Assistant 5.5

I  downloaded Cisco Network Assistant 5.5, everytime when I try to run I get error message "Could not creat Java virtual Machine' any idea how to solve this?

To work around this problem, open the file C:\Program Cisco Systems\CiscoSMB\Cisco network Assistant\startup\startup.properties (the default installation path) and modify this entry:

    JVM_MAXIMUM_HEAP = 1024 m

Replace 1 024 m with a bass that does not exceed the available RAM. There is no way to predict what value will work. Try 512m and drops even if necessary. You can use the dial peer tag range 2500 to 2999 out-of-band to set your own dial peers.

  • Cisco configuration professional

Hi I downloaded configuration cisco professional, but did not find any installer in the zip file I downloaded from cisco. Zip files included only html files.

I have read the information on the professional page of cisco configuration file I downloaded should be an installer for example: MSI or *.exe in my mind. Where is he?

    Thank you

    Kind regards

    Totardo

Most likely, you have downloaded the 'express' package that is intended for installation on the device itself. the office installation package is known as 'pro' and the current version is 2.8.

Looking for the file name "cisco-config-pro-k9-pkg-2_8-en.zip".

    It can be found here:

PL indicate where you have downloaded 11.2.0.3 from - it is only available on My Oracle Support (https://support.oracle.com), whose access requires a paid from Oracle support contract.

If you have downloaded on http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/index.html, you have downloaded 11.2.0.1 which is not certified with Linux 6.x as shown above

  • NET Configuration assistant failed

    Hello

I tried to install Oracle 11 g R2 on CentOs 5.4, everything was fine until 'Net Configuration assistant'. I couldn't see the root run script so...
I think that the problem is because I don't to not define the host properly in/etc/hosts. I have corrected this now.

The question is what do I know fully uninstall the Oracle and try the installation again? Or can do something in between like re - run Setup again...

    Thank you

    Reza

  • Q re: test a Config name except. using Oracle Net Configuration Assistant

    Hello

I use Oracle Net Configuration Assistant to test connectivity to a service name.

If I specify the username SCOTT and password valid, the test completes successfully, however, if I do the same test with user defined as 'sys as sysdba' name and his password, I get the message "ORA01017: name of user and password invalid; connection refused '.

If I use the same credentials using SQL * Plus, I can connect without any problems.

Question: Why am I not able to test connectivity to ONCA using "sys as sysdba" as well as his password?

    Thank you for your help,

    John.

    John,

I believe that when you give, 'sys as sysdba', this set is treated as a "username" which is not really. This is why the error is generated for you. If you would like to try just give Sys, you'd see he comes back with an error connection sys must use clause "as sysdba. Then fate of a kind of the story chicken egg. The netca text box has the possibility to enter the credentials of the user as user Sys OMI.
