  But why boom and grow (sga pools) operation impact only shared buffer and not also on the PGA Tour?
  For example, I have 5 GB of the AMM, looking for AWR, updated Oracle shared pool about 1, 9 GB, 1, 1 GB buffer (sga target around 3, 3 GB) and the results of the PGA.
  Looking for dynamic components of memory in AWR, I see only shared operation uses reduction/increase and buffer pool and not on the PGA TOUR that is not used.

  That I understand your question, it is that you do not see reallocation of the PGA that you see in the SGA resizable components.

  Unless there is pressure on oracle to release the PGA memory to allocate to the SGA or vice versa, you will not see the change in the allocation of memory for PGA

  As a user of Thunderbird long term (currently version 38.2.0 on Win7 x 86 US) today, I caught myself (negatively) by the following problem: at the launch at the start of Thunderbird, the window will appear last closed (and for a short while, I see my files, etc., as left behind, during the last closure of Thunderbird), but then it turns into State "Not responding" (nothing works). When we look in the Task Manager, I see that Thunderbird seizes more and more memory, before this date - after a few seconds - crashing. I really hope that for some help fast, if possible (I desperately need a solution for e-mail job well - ideally the one I had, i.e. Thunderbird with my settings).

  What I tried:
  -Uninstall Thunderbird and install it again (did not help)
  -Uninstall Thunderbird and install an older version (I tried 38.1.0, 38.0.2, and 31.8.0 - nothing has worked)
  -from Thunderbird in SafeMode (same problem)
  -from Thunderbird in safe mode of Windows (same problem)
  -from Thunderbird in offline mode (did not help)

  My main question to know how to solve this problem, includes questions such as
  ? Should I try to delete some files of Thunderbird and try again (which ones?)?
  ? Can I use a command line "tricks" to get Thunderbird started?
  Etc.

  I think I solved my problem: delete messages from global reach DB and panacea.dat foldertree.json helped - once Thunderbird started again interactively and now I can restore my data files/messages.

  The Clip + Treaty internal and external cards in 2 separate sources, under the folder view (it is quite logical, when you think of him, and just as 2 separate cards on your computer).  And if you look at the 2 lists separately (again, just like on your computer).  When you view your files using ID3 tags, both internal and external map content is merged in 1.

  If you do not have to see 2 separate lists, you can simply keep most / all of your content on the map either internal or external (even by, if you were really dead set on it, for example get a 2 GB Clip + and then using 8 or 16 GB external with her new card).

• OptiPlex 7010 memory question

  I just bought an Optiplex 7010 of Dell Outlet and have a question.  Technical guide to the 7010 says that each of the four DIMM slots can handle up to 8GB memory modules, but said while the system maximum is only 16 GB.  I know you must have Windows 7 Professional or ultimate edition to access more than 16 GB. If you have that, this motherboard supports more than 16 GB?  If I added two 8 GB sticks to the already installed 2x4gb, it would work, or would the machine does not work or recognize only 16 GB of it?

  Well, I've just answered my own question.  I bought 2 sticks 8 GB of RAM Kingston meant for the 7010, sold by a number of places, including Dell and added to my system.  It works very well, and the BIOS and Windows displays 24 GB installed.  I have no doubt 32GB should be fine, too.

  A critical caveat, however.  You must use Windows 7 Professional or ultimate edition to do this.  If your operating system is Windows 7 Premium, only 16 GB of RAM will be recognized.

  Reference Dell must correct its erroneous documentation.

  I doubt in Oracle database installation. During installation, we specify Allocate memory as a percentage of total physical memory 40% or 50% from of our requirement. This value includes the SGA and PGA or it applies only to the SGA?

  How can identify the best value for V memory_target $ MEMORY_TARGET_ADVICE?

  We can take the example below:

  You can see that 786 MB ESTD_DB_TIME_FACTOR beyond cannot be improved (it stuck here to 0.9997). So I may be updated (in this example) the MEMORY_TARGET 786 MB, I won't have any advantage to further increase.

  Action plan to change the parameter memory in the environment(5/21/2010) of production

  Note:

  Practice must be done in the DEV/TST environment before going to Production.
  Although the procedure can be applied in the testing environment the evolution of values
  used in the test environment should be amended since number of RAM are not the
  even between the production and test servers.

  1 changes to these two parameters in one of
  the prod instance, e.g. PROD1

  Connect as sysdba on sqlplus
  --------------------------

  Change:

  ALTER system set sga_target = 28G scope = spfile sid ='* ';

  Change:

  ALTER system set pga_aggregate_target = 4G scope = spfile sid ='* ';

  SQL > alter system set pga_aggregate_target = 4G scope = both;
  SQL > show parameter pga_aggregate_target;
  -should see the number altered on both instances

  Yes and no. Yes, because if consumption of memory would be in closed settings of the SGA and PGA, it will remain up to 7 GB. But setting the PGA TOUR does not have a threshold. So if Oracle wouild requires a memory more than 3 GB and it can occupy it available physical RAM of the system, it can increase more than 3 GB as well. After that the operation would not be complete, that submission will be returned to o/s.

  I was given a Satellite P200-12U with 2 GB of friend of a friend and asked to be upgraded to 4 GB.
  Have purchased and installed the memory, but noticed BIOS and still only registered WINDOWs 2GB.
  Then went into BIOS

  JASAA BIOS V1.40

  and I noticed that the options are usually very limited, and that memory is indicated but not selectable.

  Do I have reason to think that this machine is limited to 2 GB? And may refer the 4 GB to the shop?

  I don t think that the different input voltage might affect the functionality of the laptop computer because the laptop uses the universal adapter that supports entry 100V-240V.

  BSOD can be caused by faulty memory modules so I think that this test of memory could be useful also

  As you can see on the underside of the laptop doesn t supports a second HDD because there is no second Bay HARD drive on the underside.
  The map you posted is unofficial so no one can say whether it compatible s part or not. For laptops Satellite AFAIK there is no CD/DVD Bay adapter, but you can ask a provider of service authorized for more details.

  The maximum RAM capacity depends on your phone model correct. L500D was delivered with different hardware, so you must post your exact model laptop number.

• Camileo S10 - Arcsoft doesn't recognize not all files on SD card and internal memory

  I just bought a Camileo s10 camcoder.
  So far, I was pleased with the product until I connected it to my pc (vista compatible with recommendations).

  I installed the Arcsoft software, but I've never had any file import because * the program recognized the sd and internal memory as void * (I could read the files in the drive of the camera, as well as my pc card reader).

  I have used other similar suites with no luck. Then I tried to format sd hc 8 GB card and restore my files but unfortunately I noticed * video/foto files not recognized at the time, even from the camera *.

  Another concern is that I had a trailer (720 p) hd .mov file in my memory card and the camera could not see (+ I wanted to use the camcorder as a player HD plugged into my sony full hd tv +).

  I also have a S10 Camielo, installed the software Arcsoft on Windows Vista and I am able to see images and mov files if I connect the cam via usb cable or if I insert the sd card into the card reader.
  He shows me the internal memory and the data stored on the card (Class6) 8 GB SDHC.

  Maybe you need a card with a higher class. Where did you try to format the sd card? On the inside of the camera or on your pc?

  Have you tried another usb port? If you use a hub, check that there is enough power.
