Shadow on my monitor

I have a HP f1905 19 inch LCD monitor connected to a m7330n desktop computer...
My operating system is Windows XP Home Edition.

I use a graphics Geforce 7600 GS PCI.

I have a problem with my cursor disappears on the right side of my screen. It stops at the top, low and limits on the left of the screen, but it seems to continue to travel in some fantasy land on the right side. It's like the virtual screen is two times wider than what is displayed on the screen.

The screenshot below shows what I'm trying to explain. It shows a normal screen to the left and a large yellow area in which the cursor disappears.

If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it, of course.

Finally found the culprit. This isn't in the control panel Nvidia g-force tab of properties when you right click on the desktop. I put it to unique view and the problem disappeared. Weird that it must use the dual display.

Is this normal, or is there a problem? Recommend a fix?

I'm on Mac mini (mid-2011) and a screen LCD Dell UltraSharp U2913WM 29 inches.

... However, if the screenshots are picking up, it seems less like a problem of monitor and more like an incompatibility of graphics cards with MacOS Sierra?

This seems to be quite normal. The windows are translucent, and what I see, this is the result of the image behind the window.

It was the same thing in El Capitan (and, I suppose, Yosemite, as well).

You can go to system preferences - > accessibility-> display and select "reduce transparency" if it bothers you.

  • DB level monitor

Hello.  I am an audiobook Narrator.  I had been recording in ProTools.  The recruiting company tells me that my "levels were very low" (see picture in first attachment)

and they had "to amplify the volume 20 d" and that "BPEAK dB between - 6 dB and - 3dB" (see the second image attached).

At the same time, my MBox gone bad, so I bought a rite of development interface and am moving to Logic Pro.  Is there a db in Logic Pro level indicator that would allow me to monitor db peak levels that I save?  Maybe there is a plugin or something that gives me a display like the attached screenshots.

Please note that the company only wants "unprocessed audio only: no door compression, EQ, noise reduction, standardizing, bass-dumpster, sibilant, etc.» Audio comes with treatment limit our options in post. We strongly prefer that you do not use any treatment including compression, limiting, EQ, gate, expander, normalization, noise, whistling, of reduction - by clicking on, the shadow, denoising, bass roll-off/high-pass/shelving filters, etc.. »

    Thanks for your help.

You can use the counters Mixers, now all faders to 0. Since the entry levels are always defined on the interface, there is no need what in logic level. I'll add a film showing later where you can find plugins for counting.

Audio regions already appear as you want - their waveform is proportional to their level. The height of the region is 100% level (providing you do not have the waveform Zoom committed.)

Film: As plugins are located in the folder logic (most of the menu drop-down shown plugin is my custom game)

I can see what is on the desktop if I put a strong light in front of my screen. until the monitor worked if I restarted abruptly the laptop but now no longer works. I already replaced the LCD inverter but I have the same problem (should I replace the inverter wires?). and I have already connected to an external monitor and working correctly. I'm a little desperate because I need the documents on my laptop.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hello

It looks like a FL. inverter problem

The FL inverter is a piece of equipment behind the frame of the LCD and this material part controls the LCD backlight.

In my opinion it s broken and it of necessary to replace this part in order to solve this problem.

I would recommend contacting a local Toshiba ASP. Guys should help you to replace this part.

  • Satellite L350D-216: green lines, dots and shadows.

    Hi all.

About three days ago, I bought a laptop (Toshiba L350D, published on July 09 I think) second hand on a good deal.

I turn it on today, to discover a series of weird green lines, points and shadows, over which areas of text hard to read.

    [http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture4.png | http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture4.png]
You can see to the right of the words and if you look close enough, also around the different letters in the Google logo.

    [http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture2.png | http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture2.png]
Do not clear especially here (sorry), but the words greyed out in the address bar are very ghosts.

Also, he seems to have replaced areas full of colors like grey, with a color green "dotty".
    [http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture1.png | http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture1.png]

It seems that this issue has also spread on video, where green areas are now appearing at random points.
    [http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture5.png | http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b30/philkensebben/Capture5.png]

I have updated with the latest display drivers available here, who unfortunately made no difference.

Any advice on why it suddenly decided to go and how to get rid of would be appreciated, I use the laptop for Photoshop and as you can imagine, having a surface of green and shadows is rather off-putting when I'm working.

    Hello

To be honest, all the screenshots displayed in your message is displayed correctly on my laptop.

It seems that your graphics card or screen developed a problem.

You can check if the same thing is seen on the external monitor.

If yes then the internal display may be affected and should be replaced.

To do this, you should get in touch with a local Toshiba technician.

  • Shadow text

Text is Blur/Blur because it has a shadow behind this happens on all screens including pages web, photos, games, emails etc. Were in display and change the resolution also customization - color and appearance, but nothing does change in the display. I use Vista 32 bit Premium with a screen LCD and Athlon dual core. Had Vista installed since 2007 and this problem is only for the last 3 months. Is it a hardware problem as all efforts have failed? Do I need a technician?

Looks like you have dealt with all the features of customization of the display under Vista, so it is probably a hardware problem (the LCD monitor or the video card), but we must first update the drivers to make sure that is not the issue.

Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  You will need to get new drivers for the monitor and video card (you will need the exact brand and model and the number in order to get good and they must be compatible with Vista).  If you need to get pilots to leave the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. (do right now if you remember).  Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

If it does not, then it is probably a hardware problem and you need to keep a professional computer repair technician for diagnosis and repair (or replacement) - NO Geek Squad or a any these wholesale store centers but a true professional - preferably someone who you have been recommended (or you can always send it to the manufacturer for repair or replacement computer).   Remember it can be EITHER the monitor or the video card (it could be the motherboard, but I doubt that) you will need to bring or send the two elements (the monitor and the computer box).

I hope this helps and it's just a driver problem and is not a real hardware problem (but I doubt it).

  • P2715Q, displays only the shadow of what it should

My P2715q has worked for a few days and then began to show an error and was suddenly dark.

The monitor went dark as if the backlight (LED) was stoped working. Someone else has had this same problem?  I see just just "shadow" of what needs to be displayed.

The light on the power button also stopped working sometime later. Reset the display settings (according to the menu) does not restore the light.

    It shows DP/n: 00GT67 REV A01.

What is the 20-digit serial number? Do a power reset monitor. If that is not correct it, be traded.

    * Disconnect all cables from the screen, including the power cable
    * Press the button of power monitor in 10 seconds

  • The speakers affect LED monitors?

I came across this question recently and experts views on this one. Pregnant really affect LED monitors in any way?

No they are not. CRT monitors classic shot of the beams of electrons on points of phosphorus on the back of the glass which makes them shine to produce light that you see. The intensity of the beam defined the brightness and the chemicals in the phosphorus set the color.

However, the beam is just a fine tip and on its own would just produce a single point on the screen. The beam sweeps across of the rotation of the screen in and out as needed because of two magnetic coils on each side of the screen and the scan moves vertically because of another pair of magnetic coils up and down.

A magnet not shielded near a CRT would add its domain to the screen scanning coils and distort the beams leading to the beam lack his target and corrupt display. If left in the position the field eventually magnetize the chassis and leave a permanent deformation. All the speakers voice coil work essentially the same way and that's why the speakers sold for the use of the computer were always described as "blind".

LCD screens do not use any magnetic principle to create the image so don't suffer not the effect of an external field. Older LCD use the cold cathode lamps to provide the backlight and in theory a very powerful magnetic field can distort the plasma in the tube so could cause some shading while the field is present but the residual magnetism is very small in comparison, so there is no permanent effects. Backlight LED don't even have this problem. A strong field that oscillates very fast can cause a problem, but it would not apply to a magnet.

A mistake often made is the assumption that flat screens do not suffer "burn in" often seen on CRT screens. This is not the case, if the same image is displayed for a long period he set crystals partially at all times and produce a shadow on the screen. This happens so fast on LCD screens, but it can happen. (Big flat screen TVs) plasma screens have a sensitivity to burn in somewhere between the two.
