  • a6755y: a6755y wired and wireless network hard

I already spoke with my ISP nothing helps technical support.

I recently created my desktop computer again after having been stored for several months. Before I put it there, I was using wireless internet and local wireline connections regularly and without problem, and now I can not access to either. I have a strong connection with the modem/router device, so I thought that the issue could be in how its configuration or interpret the connection from my computer, but nothing, I have discovered has indicated that this was the case, and convenience store customer support my ISP did not find anything abnormal. I was now more confused when I discovered that it also fails to connect to another computer using a direct wired connection, even though I had in the past linked their and transfer large files regularly. I would like to assume that these issues are linked, to make the simplest solution; but as one involves a separate network adapter, and the other connects directly to the motherboard, I don't think that's likely.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

  • Photosmart C7280 will print a computer on the wireless network

It allows to print from a laptop on the same network.

I tried to follow the procedures on the HP Support site and drivers, such as the routine HPHNDU.exe and others, but have had no success.

I'd appreciate the help. My previous post in May has all the answers.

Seems that the fatal error was not fatal as it appeared.

I ran the HPHNDU again in exasperation, and it printed a test page. So, I printed another Notepad document just to be safe, and the printer now prints. There at least one test. It's good, but the scourge caused by the report "fatal error" doesn't exactly inspire confidence in HP Setup.

I bet that it happened not when Carly was CEO.

I'll call this resolved, although I don't know exactly what has been resolved otherwise than a very strange relocation.

    Thanks for your efforts.

Furthermore, I never found a link to attach a file to a message.

My laptop has always worked perfectly until last night, I was in the living room and my phone cut because it ran out of battery. I went to restart, and when I did, NO network could be found, and several others usually appear outside my home network. The wireless switch is turned on and I rebooted the computer several times, I ran the wizards and shooters of boredom, I started the wireless zero configuration, but nothing happens. everything he says is "wireless networks could not be found", and when I click on the message, a black box appears with a message saying "windows has encountered an illegal instruction. I don't know what to do. my laptop model is a Sony Vaio, but that's what I know. My ipod connects to the wireless perfectly, so I know its my laptop that needs fixing.

  • HP Officejet will not be connected to the wireless network?

I have a HP Officejet 6500 wireless which will remain not connected to the network over a half hour or so, max.  My wife runs a laptop XP Pro and I have a Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard.  She NEVER problems printing, but my computer is always looking for the printer unless I re - connect via the wirelss Wizard.  I also use a Westell 327W Versalink router/modem and I have connected my Mac via Bonjour, if that helps.  Any ideas out there?  I even reinstalled the router right next to the printer thinking that may be the issue.  He STILL abandons the connection, but it's funny that my wife's computer is not...

OK, let's assume that your Mac software is correct for now.  Its probably a good assumption.

We will define an IP address from the printer.  This can help find the network when he wakes fashion 'sleep':

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). In your case, is that 192.168.1.15 to 192.168.1.47 can use 192.168.1.50
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the gateway and DNS white. Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Wired vs wireless network

When I connect to my laptop to a wired network and the wireless is always on, a single connection replaces the other, or they are both active.  So late, what are the possible ramifications?

OK, I'm sitting on the patio with my laptop on my hit, surf the internet.  I feel rain coming so I take the laptop inside, connect it to the docking station is connected by wire to my router.  It's as simple as that!

So my network connection now on the wire, still wireless, or a combination of both?

It uses the fastest connection automatically unless you handle the metric of the individual network manually. This article explains the process...
