• There is no such thing as a black line on the content of folio in the viewer adobe after update.

  Several days after an update of a shared folio in the viewer Adobe (iPad Retina), there is a black line on the content on the right side of the screen (possibly a the scroll bar that no scrolling). There was also a notification that an update was available (downloaded very quickly, no updates had been pushed in days). This line does not exist when you use the Office Viewer, non-retine iPad or iPhone.

  This seems to be a problem with Content Viewer (v32.5) in the App Store.

  If I build one from the App 32.4.4 Constructor (same v32.5), the bar is in its original position.

  Not a solution, but could be a workaround for some until this problem is corrected.

• Impossible to share Folio do to view Adobe authentication problem

  I created a sales presentation in InDesign and shared with my representative commercial. I create an identifier Adobe open a session and open the Adobe Viewer on his iPad to open the shared with her presentation. It cannot connect to Adobe Viewer.

  His story is verified, it can connect to Acrobat, I created a second connection myself and it won't work.

  How do accomplish us this?

  I read all the docs help. I chatted with support, but they pass me around like a potato hot and say call and pay for support.

  When I share a folio with a client. Share only a 'snapshot' of the folio? Or if I come back in the InDesign doc and make updates and changes after sharing, do all the updates to get eliminated at the people, I shared the folio with?

  When they launch the content viewer on iPad it teaches them that there is a new version available for download?

  I just want to check before sharing anything with a client. If I go back later and test new things, I don't want that they are able to see everything if he can still be ongoing.

  When you update the folio items you shared, recipients are encouraged to upgrade to a newer version. You don't need re - share.

  If you don't want recipients to see your current changes, create a different folio.

• My adobe will open and say "install updates" but it stops at 5% and told to try to connect to the server. It won't go past that. I tried to update through the view, but it still does the same thing.

  my emails do not reach their destination when sharing a folio with the sharing feature in folio Builder.

  We have seen this happen sometimes, but it is not serious. The folio is always shared on behalf of that person, they can just connect to producer Folio and it'll be there. In fact you don't have to click the link in the email.

  I been using DPS for many months now, to produce a magazine content and will have earlier a problem sharing a folio by e-mail. I share a folio from one account to the other, that both how I manage. Summer do likewise for a year now, so I don't know why it doesn't all of a sudden.

  It WAS that I could type in my address not affiliated email Adobe and I would receive an email with a link, but I'm reading that I need to share an email registered with Adobe. So, I did it just for this go-around.

  But when sharing in the folio to the address linked to my Adobe ID, the system is not just generate the link and e-mail. Nothing is never arrives in my Inbox. I tried 2 different browsers, also after rebooting my machine, and it never works.

  Is this a bug or maybe something that someone from Adobe is not yet aware of? I did a month (we are a monthly magazine) and in the meantime, I alerted on the Adobe security breach and so I changed my password, but I doubt it has anything to do with the question, because I am still able to connect to both of my accounts using the new password.

  Help please! I cannot complete publish folio unless this problem is solved. Hoping that someone has had this happen or knows what I'm talking about and can suggest a fix or a workaround. If there is another way to share a folio so I can access it in another DPS account, this would be ideal. Or, is via the DPS generated by the only way?

  Our team has confirmed there is a problem with the e-mail is sent. The work of the actual share: If you log on with the account that you sent the part you will see the folio there. It's just the email itself which is not sent.

  Our operations people are working to solve the email piece now.

• Step through a view function

  Hello all, I need to create a function that displays a view and that exports the data in a file with fixed field format. I think I need to step through the view and for each record, extract of each field, rpad at a given length and concatenate the new fields, together in a new record, perhaps dumping each new record in a temporary table and once that is done, export the table to a file. Please let me know if this reasoning seems logical, or is the best approach. Thank you.

  The procedure allows for the header and the data to separate files if necessary. Just by specifying the file name "header" will put the header and the data in a single file.

  Adapt to the exit of styles and different types of data are needed.

• Producer of Folio, shared Folios and Content Viewer

  Forgive me if this response is posted elsewhere and after some research, I was not able to find an answer.

  I have several students folios sharing with me. When you have 30 students or more each semester sharing folios, it starts to add up!

  So, I was hoping that I could use the Folio producer to manage folios (which they shared with me) appear in my iPad content viewer application. I thought that I could check, 'Content Viewer for Web Only' down to the right of the window when I highlight the folio but when I do, the folio appears in the application of the content viewer.

  The number of folios in my content viewer application is unyieldy, and a few pages are not displayed.

  1. I use this feature correctly?

  2. is it possible to manage the folios, so I can keep to delete?

  3. If sheets appear not in the application of the content viewer, what that means is there is a limit to the number of sheets that can be viewed in the application of the content viewer?

  1. No, this feature is for something completely different (related to social sharing)

  2. not really. When they are in your account, they appear in the Adobe Content Viewer. This is what Adobe Viewr contained: to show you folios in your account.

  3. There is no limit. The folios are not displayed, probably means that they are not the right size for an iPad. They must be 1024 x 768 or 2048 x 1536.

• Trouble sharing my folio with a customer

  I have a problem my folios of sharing with clients.  I clicked on the button share and sent the e-mail to the customer.  They received the email and sign up for an adobe account.  When they try to connect to Adobe Content Viewer on iPad using their Adobe credentials, they continue to connect you view failed.  Anyone know why this is happening?  Thank you.

  Anyone else have a problem with the auto-generated email that is sent to users when you share a folio with them? Enamel is super confusing to my clients, I get at least a handful of emails each week of new people to the content by obtaining content viewer shared with them, and then clicking on the link provided with the e-mail, which triggers the safari to open and message on the incompatibility of the browser.

  I'm really desperate to help here, and I'm sorry if my question is stupid. I spent three days of searching for an answer and just can't find a definitive answer anywhere.

  I am a CC subscriber, have access to simple publishing through Indesign CC DPS functions.

  I want to produce an interactive book/magazine /' publication back in Indesign, through DPS. This publication is not for submission to Apple or anywhere else. I just want to distribute the publication over to the students in my Academy for them to display via Adobe Content Viewer, on their desktop computers and mobile devices.

  IM so confused on this issue. So they can see the post through the content viewer, would I somehow leave them the final .folio file? It would be visible on another machine via CVS?

  If not, is there another way I can produce and distribute an interactive (with video) indesign document.

  Seriously, any help that anyone can give will be most appreciated and can preserve just what little sanity I have left.

  The beneficiaries will have to checked and free Adobe ID. You would then share the folio by selecting in the folio builder Panel and choosing to share via the Panel menu.

  Depending on how many students it is it can get a bit heavy.

• See folio on custom Viewer app

  I built an application Viewer customized and loaded on my ipad successfully, but I can't understand how to display a folio in there.

  I tried to post my folio, sharing even to create a new local folio with sideload generation option. Nothing I see creates a .folio file. The portal only allows me to export a .zip file.

  A guide on how I can actually test my custom with a true folio application runs in fact publish?

  If I open my Viewer application custom when connected to my mac via USB I don't have option ipad view as I do with the Adobe Content Viewer.

  Your custom application shows only folios published as public. In the multimedia producer Folio, select the folio and choose Publish. Choose Public and free (I guess that's not retail) and specify a product ID. If you used the same Adobe ID to publish the folio that you specify in the field title ID of your custom application, the folio should appear.

  I'm in the middle of evaluation of VMware Horizon View Suite. I set it up according to the information provided in the link above

  I am able to connect to my desktop PC internally through the Horizon View Client and HTML.

  I am also able to connect to the outside through HTML - BUT NOT - through the Horizon View Client from an external location.

  My first thought is that I have all the correct ports open on my firewall to network, that's what I opened, did I miss something?

• Any ideas as to why unable to display the new folio in Content Viewer?

  The content viewer is a novelty and tools DPS (running InD CS6). Able to create folio with the generator of folio and view with the desktop but preview never shows up in the content viewer.

  Thank you, Neil. Finally someone to Support Adobe's call me and understand the problem with a return to the screen. I can't tell you exactly what the problem was but they changed the suffix on some preference files and that seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the help.
