  I have a shortcut that launches a program. I want to add one of the options of the program target of the shortcut, but all my test results field in a command syntax error message.  The program options include an initial, possibly qualified path, filename and other options identified by / x... triggers.

  Example:

  Take a look at keyboard shortcuts in the Edit menu. If you don't see blending modes, you can create an action and then create a shortcut for the action.

• MASTERED OPTION IS GRAYED OUT WHEN YOU TRY TO BURN A HOME PC PREM BRAND NEW VIRGIN DVD + R ON VISTA 32-BIT

  Due to virus I had to rebuild PC using the RECOVERY partition on hard drive. All windows updates have been applied to date (August 2011). Before the virus problem (July 2011) WAS able TO SELECT THE "MASTERED" OPTION WHEN YOU are GOING to USE WINDOWS TO BURN a VIRGIN DVD + r. NEW once AGAIN, this WORKED BEFORE, NOW THE MASTER OPTION IS GRAYED OUT.  I have a brand new DVD + R blank and tried several of them thinking it was the disk (I've used this same brand (magnavox) DVD + R 4 years now never this problem of the "controlled" option is grayed out.) I use the same DVD burner which came with the PC and it allowed me to select the option "Mastered" last month (July 2011). I am using Windows HomePrem 32-bit OS (originial system that came with PC and this allowed me to select the mastered option last month. I applied all the updates Win at present. I have no other problems with the PC. Once again, driving the nail: this WORKED BEFORE, last month on the exact same hardware and the software/OS (Juillet2011), then why this option appears GRAYED out now?  This question has been asked before and 'experts' simply stressed totally USELESS MS pages showing how to select either under control or direct - I DO NOT NEED THIS HELP as I ALREADY KNOW HOW TO SELECT either option and what each is for. Also the other 'fixed' DOES NOT APPLY to this situation.   Is it possible to control the overall volume with a few keyboard shortcuts? I'd rather be without use of some additional software. But if this is not possible then the software should be light enough and not consume a lot of CPU/RAM.  Thank you for your help.

  Yes, you can create a shortcut to Master Volume and also assign a keyboard shortcut.

  Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and click on New and shortcut.

  Paste the following in the location of the item box: -.

  %windir%\System32\SndVol.exe f 49825268

  Click on the next button and type a name for the shortcut and click Finish.

  Now, you right-click on it and select Properties.

  Click the shortcut tab.

  Assign your shortcut key want like F8 or F9 in the shortcut key box.

  Click OK/apply.

  Recently installed windows seven and after I had run a few days this problem came: when I touch some of the keys on the keyboard I get shortcuts, it is somehow similar to stickkeys. The problem is that it appeared to me first after watching a movie on the computer and next time when I got it running during the night, which means I didn't do anything to start it. Does anyone has an idea what it depends and how get rid of it without having to restart my computer each time the problem appears?

  You can adjust these settings for your keyboard.

  1. open the brand of the keyboard easier to use page by clicking the Start button, click on the Panel on ease of access, clicking Ease of Access Center, and then clicking Make the keyboard more easy to use.

  2. Select the options you want to use:

  Turn on mouse keys. This option sets mouse keys to run when you log on to Windows. Instead of using the mouse, you can use the arrow keys on the keyboard or the numeric keypad to move the pointer.

  Turn on sticky keys. This option sets sticky keys to run when you log on to Windows. Instead of pressing three keys at the same time (for example, when you press the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys to open a Windows session), you can use one key by turning on sticky keys and adjusting the settings. In this way, you can press a modifier key and keep it active until the other touches.

  Activate the ToggleKeys. This option sets toggle keys to run when you log on to Windows. ToggleKeys can trigger an alert every time that you press the SHIFT CAPS LOCK, Numlock or SCROLLLOCK keys. These alerts can help avoid the frustration of a button by mistake and not realize it.

  Turn on filter keys. This option sets filter keys to run when you log on to Windows. You can set Windows to ignore keystrokes that occur in rapid succession, or keystrokes that are held down for a few seconds without wanting to.

  Note access keys and keyboard shortcuts. This option facilitates access to the keyboard in the dialog boxes highlighting the hotkeys for the controls in them.

  I tried to find options in preferences-> shortcuts, but it appears not to be changed.

  Well, the default shortcut to create a new layer is Shift + Ctrl + N and it will show you the dialog too, now, if you do not want to see this dialog box, you can press Shift + Ctrl + Alt + N and it will create a new layer without any dialog box or from the command prompt.

  And I think there is no way to change this shortcut because it is not specified in the keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop.

• Control Option resize brush to go color?

  I use the shortcut keyboard Control Option click, drag the cursor up/down and left/right to change the size of my brush to change the hardness of the brush. It seems that the update deleted 2015.5 color to easily see the size / hardness of the brush. Is there a way to get this back?

  This is because either the graphics card is not up to the plug or you have not enabled OpenGL.

  Maybe worth a try: go to the Actions palette menu and activate the Mode button so that can quickly see if the F7 key is assigned to an action (which probably does nothing).

  F that are assigned to the actions keys supplant the F keys defined as General keyboard shortcuts.

• Shortcut to toggle all targets in Audio does not

  My shortcuts to switch titles of works for the video fine, but audio not show a value. Any suggestions?

  Option + Cmd + left and right are "Slip Clip selection right and left a framework respectively.

  In the Titler Panel, it's to increase/decrease the size of the text by one point.

  To check Multicam power it switches are respectively cmd + 9 or cmd + 0 for targets all the Audio and video and opt + cmd + 0-9 and optcmd are switch all Audio sources and video respectively.

  Please check if your shortcuts are not same for both.

  I try to change the color to color patern indexed with master (Adaptive) but they are greyed out... (I just open jpg in photoshop - went in image mode and changed 8bits RGB to indexed color)

  I've played before with those setting and some how this has been activated?

  I have reset the Photoshop setting and still no luck. Tried to access those who put on another PC with the same effect.

  Since I use it so often, it would be good that it could be one of the 'F' keys: F1, F2 or something else.

  I looked in 'Edit-> keyboard shortcuts'... but I couldn't find the option replace/find here.  Have I missed?

  It's here: System, section keyboard preferences. Check the box to enable access direct function key, or uncheck it and hold down the "Fn" key then press F4.

• How to stop an e-mail address to unwanted

  I have an e-mail address that is in a filter and the filter is supposed to work upstream of the junk e-mail filter. However, every single email from this email address goes into the spam folder.

  How can I get Thunderbird to:
  1. respect the filter that is supposed to work upstream of the junk e-mail filter?
  2. stop to the e-mail address in the Span file. I wrote email to this email address SEVERAL times NOT junk and has no effect.
