  • Invert the sense of the video shot with Canon Powershot SX20IS

Hoping that someone might know how to help me.
I was at the wedding of my half-sister over the weekend and did some video as well as photos.
I'm changing the orientation of the videos that I shot. I shot the daughter of father vertically to get her dress and other dance in the video perfectly, I was hoping that I could rotate so that one would not observe the video on the side of the disk, I burn for them.

Does anyone know how do to change direction at the program (windows media player or something like that) or if there is some sort of free online video editing software that would do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

When you rotate an image, that's all you work with - that a single image, both of the latest digital cameras can handle this in the device, but a film is nothing more than a series of hundreds of images 'fixed '.  To rotate the movie, each monkey image (frame) must be turned.  It's a little more than most of the current crop of cameras can handle, so it must be done outside.  For instructions on the rotation of a sequence with Windows Movie Maker, see the following link:

    http://www.JakeLudington.com/movie_maker/20080205_rotate_digital_camera_videos_with_windows_movie_ma...

or for a free downloadable program, see:

    Good luck!

  • How to rotate a video clip shot with a mobile phone.  I need to rotate the screen, not just the clip.

I know how to rotate the clip in the screen using the 'Effects' Panel, but when I export the video finished it is small with a lot of black space around it.  It does not fill the screen.  I don't know there is a way but it can not understand.

Thanks for any help, that all the world can offer.

Go into the settings of the sequence and it set to custom and change the framesize.

Staples can be turned in under the Motion effect options.

  • Canon EOS 600 d producing dark tones of RAW images (.) CR2)

    Hello

I'm new in the world of photography, using my Canon EOS 600 d for these past two years. I have turned off later just started shooting in RAW (.) CR2) format, mainly RAW + L. What I see is that all my CR2 files have a blackish tone added to them over the same JPEG formats. All images are all taken in manual mode.

Could you please help me with the below.

    1. There is a problem with the Canon EOS 600 d model. Friends of my friends with Canon EOS 600 d are complained of the same show.
    2. If it is not a problem with the camera series, is there a solution ready? By changing some settings or...
    3. If so could someone please share the same with me in this forum.
    4. If it cannot be resolved by simple change of parameters in the model of camera, can anyone please provide some resolutions in adobe photoshop, cameraRAW, adobe LightRoom or any other software.
    5. Discuss about it with some friends of friends who have had recourse to Canon EOS 60 d and 5 d series and none have faced the same issue with RAW formats.

I stuck a few examples below. I was unable to view images of CR2 in this forum, just open images using picasa and taken screenshots and paste as simple images.

Any help will be much appreciated and really useful for me. Please ignore if I am sounds very stupid, I am new in this field.

    Thank you

I think that Picasa is your problem.  All RAW converters are different.  Mr. Martin is correct to a point, but most of the converters apply the settings that you have made in your camera in a tag file.  This is how a RAW file can even be posted. Otherwise, you can not view a RAW file.  IMHO, Adobe is the best RAW converter.  It is a view shared by photographers professionals and laboratories.  You can certainly use PLR as your RAW converter.  After all, it's own Canon, and it's free.  But I recommend you get one of the programs Adobe Photoshop Elemets 6 Lightroom or Photoshop full blown.

Even some of the free converters are better than Picasa.  GIMPshop for example or Darktable (Mac).

Remember that it is always better to get the right settings in the camera rather than rely on the post to do.  ACR 9 will apply these settings for beginners.

  • Canon eos 80 d RAW photos

Adobe cs 6 can't open my pictures from my camera canon eos 80 d

I have install the 9.5 but yet adobe can't open my pictures

    Why why why

CS6 is only compatible with Camera Raw to 9.1.1.

Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility

Camera Raw 9.1.1 is the last update for customers of Photoshop CS6

In Photoshop, click Help > About Plug-Ins > Camera Raw and check what version of Camera Raw that you run. He'll probably tell 9.1.1.

If you stick with CS6 (and do not upgrade to the cloud), then you will have to download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the 80 d Raw files to DNG, and then change the DNG files in CS6

  • Canon Flash 430EX 11 to go with my Canon EOS camera D 70 with a 18-135mm lens.

I bought a Canon 430EX 11 Flash to go with my Canon EOS camera D 70 with a 18-135mm lens. Flash displays the icon confirming the auto zoom only intermittent and when it isn't, twist the zoom of the camera does not appear on the screen of the flash.  The batteries are charged and the flash is locked on the camera.

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question.  The 430EX II has can be put in a mode where it automatically follows the camera zoom (within the limits... 24 mm to 105 mm), but you can ALSO put it in a mode where you manually control the zoom flash.  If it's in the manual control mode, so it won't automatically zoom.

It is important that the 'broad' Panel not in use (if you go out and go back to the bottom of the Panel then flash will go to wide angle and zoom not EVEN if it was in auto mode.)

Press the Zoom button, then use the - / + keys to change the zoom.

When under manual control, there is a black "M" icon that appears the word "Zoom".  If the "M" is not present then it is auto zoom mode.

Finally... When you change the zoom on the camera lens, generally nothing will happen on the flash UNTIL you wake up the system by doing a half - press the shutter button.    When the camera wakes up to the meter and focus... it is when she allows to set the zoom on the flash head.

  • Photoshop works better with the Canon EOS 7 d or Nikon D7000?

    18.0 megapixels - Canon EOS 7 d

    16.2 megapixels - Nikon D7000

Also, I keep reading the best digital to work with Photoshop CS5.5 image format is RAW.

    Is this good?

    Thank you.

    Jeff says.

Nikon or Canon is the same as Coke or Pepsi. It's one you prefer. Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw plugin consume and process is very well.

RAW files give you more data to work with - so that you have more latatude to adjust an image with a greater color fidelity and fewer artifacts.

Some users (documentary/news photographers) prefer JPEG because their cameras can contain more and reach more quickly - and more they can ship these files directly to anyone and allow them to open and view them.

  • Canon EOS 70 d giving garbeled photos

My new Canon EOS 70 d gives didital garbeled photos. This happens for ~1/20 I took photos. A strange thing about the preview just after a shot of 'bad' looked OK / normal did once later on the camera or download the distorted image appear.  Curiously, if a bad photo to save the photo thumbnail to my desktop icon seems OK

    Photo Details: 5472 x 3648 pix jpeg

Before contacting Canon it is a problem with a simple solution?

Low level format your sd card and change your way to transfer your pictures from the camera to the computer. If the photos looked in the camera and you can enlarge in the problem is being transferred.

  • Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT photos are stored at 72 dpi and not 180 dpi. Can I change this?

When I download my photos taken with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT to my computer, I see they are listed as 72 dpi, but when I download pictures from my small pocket cameras Canon (like my Powershot S410 or ELP 300) they are listed as 180 dpi.  It is a function of the cameras, or is it a setting I can change on the rebels to store the photos at 180 dpi?

My second question is: it won't hurt the quality of the photo printed so I manually "resize" the dpi to 180 in a photo program before printing.   The vast majority of my photos are just stereotypes that I print 4 "x 6", but sometimes I get a good picture I like to enlarge. "

As you can see, I know very little about digital photography.  In the past, I have not even noticed that pictures of rebels were at 72 dpi and the others were to 180.

All the information that will inform me on this subject will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.    Mac

If you say that the printer to print a 4 x 6 proof it will not (in general) paid no attention to indications of DPI image.  All shots of my XSi are 72 dpi so I printed several pictures on a dozen different places throughout the city and the DPI setting in the image file is ignored in favor of the resolution of the printer and the size of the image.  In other words, if the printer only 300 DPI then my impression out to 300 DPI.  I've never seen a case where the printer used the DPI setting in the file.  I can't guarantee that it will not happen on some printers, somewhere.

But most people don't print that many images in that a lot of places so I suspect that if you are printing a single image at any place printing 'new' you can determine if it's going to go wrong or you can take the time to set the DPI setting on the image with your image editing software.  I'm not sure of what you use to edit your images, however, two following software packages allow you to adjust the DPI or print resolution:

IrfanView allows to change this setting: http://www.irfanview.com/

GIMP also allows you to modify: http://www.gimp.org/

  • Canon EOS 7 d soft images

    Hello

I feel soft and dull pictures with my Canon EOS 7 d with a 17-55 mm EFS.

Maybe it's the operator error, but I wonder if the focus of the brightness settings are out of wack.

I expect more tight overall focus. No matter what I do I can't seem to draw on the development. Most of those shots were the focus setting. And the watterfall timer/tripod shots, including the movie shots.

These shootings seem to just bad.

Here is a sample of the settings Auto, P, and M.

Thanks Bob, is this something to be definitively resolved, and it will remain fixed? Have you seen all the links out there that address this specific task for this body/lens combo? I thought that maybe it could be a firmware issue. Or maybe I'm just completely a bad batch of settings will.

It is permanent and stay put unless you reset the unit to factory settings. This will occur if send you the camera to Canon for cleaning and inspection. What I do is so save the settings of the AFMA in a worksheet (cameras on the x, lenses on the y axis), so that I can restore the settings later without guessing or recalibration.

The calibration itself is not difficult, but it can be time-consuming, since it is trial and error. Capitalist companies will try to sell you different AIDS to the process (paper targets, etc.). Most (all?) of those which are unnecessary and should be avoided.

AFMA is described in the operating manual of each device that has it. Manuals for the rest of the cameras argue that there is not.
