  Click on the view tab at the top and then click on filters. By clicking quick view active / turns off the power mode.

• Filtering of learning: Smart Collections of shows not all filtered images

  You must link the tracking information use that contains the object of the original request with presentation catalog metadata so that you can attach scans to the filters they contain. You cannot 'extend' use of follow-up in order to include the information you are looking for.

• Adobe flash player and filters for DirectShow in IE

  For video capture of webcams for sites with flash (youtube, livestream and etc.), I use a driver and a DirectShow filter. The user loads a page with flash and chooses a driver or a filter from the list of camera flash for video capture settings.

  My problem. To win 8.1 x 64 in Internet Explorer 11 flash does not show the DirectShow filters, only drivers.  I see these filters in Chrome, Firefox and Skype, but it's not in IE! No problem with IE in flash for Win 7 x 86 / x 64.

  Ok.  The case is heard by me.  IE support flash 64 bit, which does not include my 32-bit filter.

  No problem, I do 64-bit filter and test it on VLC 64-bit. All right, VLC shows me my filter in its list.

  Now I load IE with a flash page and... the filter is not in the list of flash! Why?

  Please any ideas.

  PS. OS, browsers, flash player have the latest updates on PC.

  Not all of the options.   IE is part of the operating system and only works with the drivers.

  PS. I'm afraid I have bad news, MS Edge doesn't work at all with Directshow!. But you can open the page in border and call Internet Explorer via the border properties

  Any case I look at Media Foundation, as an alternative to DS.

  Without customization, I don't think you can view filter when there is no data to display. So, here's a simple solution, you can do:

  1) go to the Advanced tab, and then copy the WHERE clause of your report.

  (2) go to the 'No' results show and in the text window, paste the content.

  (3) change the text as you wish. (Copy of the WHERE clause saves you from having to type everything in).

  Now your filters will be part of your view without results.

• Bridge CS3 does not show images

  Today Bridge CS3 partially stopped working.  Images are not displayed in the contents window, but this is not consistent.  It happens with only selected records.  Shows data under filters the data folder.  If I try to open (by clicking on) an non-existent image in the contained window, PS or Camera RAW opens for this image.  I have an internal HD and 3 external drives from LaCie.  Copy a folder assigned to another HD or on the office sometimes works but only intermittently.  All permits, etc. for the files are the same, read/write permissions granted and all the rest the same.  Sometimes the files previously open do not open at a later date.

  I tried restarting the computer and the bridge, no difference.  Two events prior to the problem.  I installed the latest Apple security update and the new update of Adobe Reader.  Except that nothing particular occurred.  I also use Lightroom2 which works OK.  The image are in the files OK, open in PS, etc..  They just do not appear in Bridge.

  My computer skills are average, since Photoshop 6.0 user, taken a number of workshops of PS to SFW and Maine and I am competent using the program.  It's above my head. Help.

  Menu Tools > Cache > purge Cache for folder

  Sounds like a Cache issue.  Tried to purge the Cache for the wrongdoer or the files in the Tools menu of Bridge.

  Bridge 2.x (CS3) was and remains the worst piece of software ever published by Adobe or any other major software developer.  He should be set free by Adobe, but, shamefully, it wasn't.

  Fortunately, bridge 3.x (CS4) is much better.

• Why am I so much spam lately?

  Not only I get much more spam in the last two months, but when I mark an email as spam, I simply continue to get spam even more. Firefox used to 'learn' when I scored things like spam, so that I don't have continue to receive the same thing over and over again... but it doesn't work anymore. Tired of him.   Hi lindagilp,

  What email provider do you use? Normally, it is not the browser (Firefox) who learns how to 'catch' spam, but it is your provider of e-mail (like Gmail, Yahoo, etc). You may need to consult with them, they should also be able to help by showing you what filters to set up etc.

  Another approach - your custom filters are visible/editable.

  1. Click on the ABP icon, choose Filter Preferences
  2. Click custom filters, then on the Exceptions line, click action and choose Show/Hide filters (it's a market switch selection). The pane to divide and show your custom filters on the right side of the pane.
  3. If you can identify one of the problems, right-click on it and choose delete OR click the checkbox for this line in the enabled column to uncheck it leaves in place, but the filter will not be applied as long as it is not checked.

• Thumbnails for images JPEG will not appear in Windows Explorer

  I'm running Vista Business 32 bit, Service Pack 1.

  This is a whole new problem after 2 years of normal operation.   I did not any management JPG files for a few weeks, some had downloaded several regular MS updates and added or not deleted any other program.

  And now I can see is more glimpses of my JPEGs in Windows Explorer - if I choose display in mosaic, or small, medium or large icons.   Only the generic 'image' icon.  This is also true if I try to use gMail to transfer a file and search for it.

  However, the slide show feature is working normally and Windows Photo Gallery works normally and shows all the photos - but is not a file management tool.  Photos also normally open in programs like Photoshop.

  I checked the properties system under Performance Options/Visual Effects and ticked 'show previews and filters in folder' and then 'apply' - but it has no effect.  I checked the associated file and select the default Windows Photo Gallery.  It also had no effect.

  Not being able to preview and rename the picture files in Win Explorer / my computer is a serious problem for me.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Try checking the Control Panel / folder Options / view, "always show icons. never thumbnails", see if you have to uncheck?

• HOW CAN I ACTIVATE A 'FEATURE' IN PROGRAMS AND FEATURES?

  I have restored my HARD drive a few months ago & now when I go to Windows programs features & highlight all programs, I have no additional info at the bottom of the screen on the program-it is-to-say-the website, the size of the program, etc.  Is attached a screenshot of one of the programs highlighted.  I would like to make a "copy" of the way it looked before that I did restore if necessary to make me more clear about the 'problem '.  That you can tell me about this?

  

  It looks like you use Windows classic folders. When used, the details pane is not available. To disable them:

  1. click on organize > folder and Search Options

  2. on the general tab, select Show Preview and filters. Click OK to save the changes.

  

  3. you should now be able to check the details pane option in the menu available .

  Normally, when I click on an item in a folder, it automatically evokes "details abve Pnae2 the toolbar. then I could change the details or the situation in the 'tags '.

  1 did you last modified the software on the computer?

  Step 1:

  I suggest you go through the steps and check.

  (a) click on organize

  (b) go to layout

  (c) click the details pane

  It will reactivate the details pane:

  Step 2:

  If the details pane in the Layout is missing, check if classic folder options are enabled.

  un) go to organize

  (b) go to Options records and research

  option c) click on show preview and filters .

  Apply it and it will re - activate the preview pane and the details pane show/hide option.

• No CD/DVD drive detected in Device Manager

  I have a hp pavilion dv9925nr portable laptop, running windows vista Home premium, service Pack2.  cd/dvd driver is missing, its not even appears in the Device Manager to all, I tried to scan for it and no luck.   I know it works, I tried the fix it install and I've been in the registry and remove filters superiors, he showed no low filters.  I even put the computer back to factory settings and the dvd player worked fine.  the only thing that worked for a while was to uninstall the game fast and install the latest version and it was working fine but now after a few updates his party once again and now reinstall quick play does not work either.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

• Problem with interactive report

  I use Apex 4.2

  I have an interactive in which I activated the filtering and sorting.

  When I click on one of the column in the interactive report, saying: "LAST NAME", it shows me the filtering and sorting options drop down.

  The poster also available name drop extracted from the query, but it shows me some range of name pronounce A - C only.

  I have family with starting with another letter also names, but those names are not displayed.

  For some columns displays the values of A to E, but not the full list.

  How to display the entire list in this fall down.

  Because of interactive report performance, it loads only a few filters.

  If you change the column definition for the column, under set the Filter Type of column to one of the other options like 'User defined list of values to exact match filter' from the list of values.  You can then specify the query used to generate this list.  You could use something like what listed below to grab the first 20000 records.

  Select *.

  where rownum<=>

  But don't forget, it will always affect your performance of interactive report page.
