  • Logic not able to load old libraries of Alchemy - Setup does not properly

I have Alchemy for a while - long before it was incorporated into the logic. I bought the full version and a few Camel Audio sound libraries while it still existed. When moving to a new computer and run the installer for the plug-in, it is unable to find my sound libraries, even if they are in the right place. Any ideas? Very frustrating.

I used the AlchemyMac-1-55 - 0.pkg to run the installer.

All libraries and presets are MacHD - Library - Application Support - Camel Audio Alchemy.

Also tried MacHD - user - Music - Audio-Music applications - plug in support - Alchemy. But in vain.

    Any help appreciated,

    Thank you

If you are running a version of Logic Pro X that has integrated Alchemy, I remember some problem with running in Alchemy is the old standalone product.

  • Delete recent libraries Dock?

I love being able to right click on the FCPX icon in the dock, and then choose which library I want to open.

Recently, however, I had cause to return to a backup and trying to find the copy says that I needed, I had to open several versions of the library in question, before you find the right pair.

Copies known of these libraries have been removed since then but now I find it quite irritating that they always appear in the list when I right click on the FCPX icon.

Does anyone know how to remove unwanted items from this list?

At the same time, I remember seeing a clear recent in this menu, but it's not here now.  Not sure how you would do that.  But here's a better way to follow your FCPX libraries.

    http://www.finalcutprox.guru/page0/blog/files/smart_folders.html

In addition, you can hold down Option key at the launch of FCPX for a list of reinventing and a way to open a specific library without having to open others.

  • Cannot open libraries iTunes since 12.5.1 updated

I applied the new iTunes 12.5.1 update yesterday and since I couldn't open one of my iTunes library.  I have three libraries in all, each stored on external disk, and I get the following error when I try to open libraries:

"An iTunes library file is not found in the folder < folder_name >.  Please choose a different folder. »

I also sometimes an unknown error message 13010, so I deleted the file .itdb of engineering for each library to no effect.

I'm on Mac OS X - not had problems with the help of libraries and iTunes on an external drive yesterday.  Someone at - it a similar problem or ideas on how to fix?

    Thank you.

I managed to work around this problem by using a previous backup of the library in each case.  Thread can be closed.

  • Former libraries aren't going away!

    Hi people:

I use often "CLT" or "RT", click the icon of the PCF in the dock to launch one of my recent libraries of CPF.  For some reason, old libraries that I finished and completely deleted my computer and my readers will always display in the choice to open FCP.  If I try the 'open' nothing happens - FCP is not even launch (I guess because they do not exist).  However, they still appear in the list of "recent" on the dock.  For the life of me I can't find a way to get rid of these "ghosts" of the past.  I tried trashing prefs.  I tried clearing recent in the Menu open, I even tried to "throw" from the dock as you do to get rid of the program icons, that you no longer need it.  All to nothing does not.  Does anyone know how to clear these if "recent" not of the dock once and for all.  I fear to imagine the 'ghosts' list that might still be there after a year of work.

    I'm running 10.2.3 - with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 - FCPX on a 2015 21.5-inch iMac - 2.8 GHz Intal Core i5 - 8 GB ram - Intel Pro Iris 6200 1536 MB

Would appreciate some help or ideas.

    Norm

    (1) file-> open library-> Clear recent; (This will affect the list in the application but the Dock remains the same)

    (2) sign out and then sign back in. now the recent clear effect that will appear in the Dock.

  • Explain the relationship between libraries, albums and photos in pictures.  Where are the images stored?

Looking for info on the relationship between libraries, albums and photos in the Photos app.  I can create several libraries containing photos and unique albums.  Can I put the same photo in libraries and the different albums?  By making a copy it creates a link to the original or a new photo?  Where are located the photo files?  When scanning photo to my Mac Pro files are placed in a folder structure, copy these photos in an album Photos using the original file or he places a copy in a database?

Bottomline, I'm frustrated by the method of collection, the albums, the place and date.  I want store related photos in a separate album.   Example: A library for a family, containing albums of members of their family. Maybe the photos have duplicate in different albums.

  • Libraries of different ESX24 samples?

Please can someone explain why I find different versions of the libraries of the ESX24 samples in Logic Pro X? Let me give you an example: if I create a new track of software and go to Orchestral-> Strings, I see this in the library:

But if I create a new track of software, select EXS24 in the channel strip and then go to the Orchestral-> Strings, I see this in the library:

Are these different samples? And stored in different places?

Hi Broadskins, when you click on left of the channel strip settings (placed above the area of the EQ) that you look at the PATCHES of library, not the sounds of ESX24. (your first photo attached)

When you click on left the ESX24 (or any that you instrument can be loaded) you look at its sounds from library or its own presets. (your second photo attached)

Don't forget the small BLUE arrow on the left of the boxes is that you said that you look in the

    Library on the left.

  • Sync pictures libraries

Somehow, on my iMac, I "managed" to get two libraries of Photos (Photos Library.photoslibrary and Photos library 2.photoslibrary). Photo library has 7426 photos and 53 videos as pictures library 2 7425 photos and 53 videos. As long as they are essentially the same, Photos library 2 has no pictures after November 2015 and photo library has all recent (2016) but not some 2015. Is there a way I can synchronize the two libraries without going through a laborious manual process?

Of course - it is exactly what iCloud photo library - set one as your library system and let it complete the synchronization - then set that follows as the library system - cntinue to what everything is synchronized in a single library - check the library and archive other libraries and remove them

  • AppleTV not recognizing HomeShared libraries.

My apple TV (3rd gen, A1469 model, software version 7.2.1) does not recognize HomeShared of my laptop or desktop, libraries that have both different downloaded content.
Now, until someone comes up with a copy paste of the troubleshooting page.
All devices are on the same network.

All devices have home sharing enabled.

All devices use the same account for sharing and itunes.
    I restarted the router.

iTunes is open on both computers all the time.
I restarted the devices in all possible orders.

Now, I thought the appleTV was not only interact with other computers, but I can't airplay on both computers to the AppleTV.
Now, at first I thought that the ATV was just streaming on the internet and not in fact the computer, so I forced to through the option 'Read iTunes in the cloud' Airplay (I have set Auto Off). AirPlay works always.

So, which leads me to conclude that it can interact with computers, but simply refuses to acknowledge their library for roommate for some reason any.

    Anyone had this problem before?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I have long had a similar problem.  In my case, I have an Apple TV 2.

Part of the answer is to turn off home sharing, and then turn it on.  This should be repeated every time that you restart your computer.  Although home sharing is on when you last use of the computer, and all the things to check indicates that it is already on, it's not.

That's how it worked in El Capitan 10.11.5.  I reported it as a bug.  It seemed that it would be fixed.  It has been changed, but not fixed.

In El Capitan 10.11.6, it may or may not be necessary to turn off sharing at home, and then back on it, that it.  Sometimes it works when the computer reboots, sometimes not.  The problem since the release of 10.11.6, is that when the albums that are in the shared House are shown, the images are not.

On my system, it's completely reproducible.  I have reported as a bug.

Note that I refer to release builds.  I'm reporting the bugs with the systems put in place for beta testing, but these problems are in the release version.

  • How to merge libraries

I have two libraries in Final Cut Pro X 10.2.3 I want to merge, so that all media, and the cuts are in the same place. I know that I can change them but merger would help me to old projects of reversion and copy edited the clip of the sections a lot easier, as well as to find the clips, I used in the previous library. I also want to store everything on the hard drive of my client in one place.

    Thank you

There is no fusion library feature.

You can move or copy events projects or clips between libraries.

I prefer to copy in a library to make sure that all is well before you delete ect.

  • Duplication of any libraries - any way to merge?

    Hello

In my 'Images' folder, I have now two libraries - iPhoto Library and photo library.  Having considered the two libraries there is a lot of overlap and duplication between them, and as they both occupy about 110 GB each I will refine them.  Y at - it a simple way to merge libraries, removing duplicate images in the process?

Incidentally, I just opened the iPhoto library in iPhoto and recalled iPhoto how elegant has been compared to its replacement teen Photos - this is the progress apparently

    John

You can remove whatever library is not in use (probably iPhoto) but you will not regain a lot of space. The two libraries use the same set of images, which are the bulk of the size.
