  This problem occurs more often when you clicked on a link on a website to bookmark the site. Do not click on "bookmark this site" or a similar link/button on web sites.

  To correct each of the affected bookmarks, make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is selected/checked by doing one of the following:

  • Open the Favorites bar (Ctrl + B to open or close the bookmarks bar), right-click on the offending bookmark, choose 'Properties', last question at bottom above the buttons ' Save/Close.
  • In the library window (bookmarks > show all bookmarks), click on the offending bookmark, click on the button "More" at the bottom of the details (right-hand) pane, item is the last item above the word "lower to."

  Since I upgraded to El Capitan, I was unable to delete folders in the Favorites menu in the side bar of the Finder. If I drag a folder in the sidebar of the Finder, it works normally. But when I decide to remove it by dragging it out he disappear.   It is not El Capitan. I've never seen this problem in versions of El Capitan, or ever in Yosemite. Maybe you have some question on the computer that is initially only as a bad Finder preferences file or a bad cache folder Finder.

  I got the above message when I tried to access my room servert pc (XP Pro with Service Pack 3) from another pc Client (XP Home Edition with service pack 3) on a network share. I see all class document & readers who share in my network places on both PCs.
  There is no problem when I have access to XP Home Edition of XP Pro. I heard the pc installed with Acronis True Image to give to this question. But my two PCs are installed with it. Any solution.
  What I've tried so far on my pc (XP Pro):
  1. click on start, run, type regedit, and then click OK.
  2. Locate and double-click the following registry subkey:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
  3. on the right side, double-click restrictanonymous setting.
  4. make sure that that the value in the value data box is set to 0, and then click OK_ (why the default value is 0. I change it to 1, but always the same)
  5. close the registry editor.
  6. restart the computer.
  I also tried to enable the allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares on XP Pro (default value is Disable).
  File and printer sharing exception is enabled in firewall. Don't have a firewall part 3

  The two guest account are capable of Simple file sharing in XP Pro box checked also checked.

  System configuration: Windows XP with SP3 (Original) and all other Microsoft updates. An engraver of DVD from LG (HL - DT - ST DVDRAM) - SATA & Samsung DVD writer (TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S222A SCSI) - PATA later do IE August 2010 & September 2010 with the latest firmware, Nero 8.

  On a previously written DVD Insert, complete correct IE fully functional in other dvd burners / rom, DVD RAM icon changes to CD with two blank CD showing player one and not accessible with the message above in the other happening too the DVD-RAM to CD drive.

  Not understand, reported the problem to the company service centers assuming failed drive to be replaced during the warranty period. Provided with other drives of different model but unfortunately same case again. Searched the Internet, consulted and I have tried all sorts of remedies, but without success. Although all CDs, written or purchased fully functional, only previously written DVD.

  Then tried the solution of Microsoft Solution Center as "Mats_Run.dvd".   Lately, just after the announcement of this problem, insert a blank DVD to check DVD writing. And yet even ONCE - DVD RAM changing to CD player in both and in the above statement PATA and SATA a blank CD. Sense DVD is not reading as well as writing. Please add this also.

  Put the computer in a clean boot (namely if any third-party software hinders the process)

  Check with step 1 (run a clean boot):-If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

  Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

  (Note: after find you the problem causing the program, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program and also don't forget to put the computer to a normal startup)

  We will put the computer in a clean boot state to identify the application at the root of this problem.
   

  Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

  My HP 8500 recently packed.  I uninstalled the printer from control PANEL and manually delete the SCAN TO FOLDER I had configured on the DESKTOP computer.

  I then bought a new HP8600.  The 8600 works very well with scans for designated folder, etc.

  My problem is that I continually get an error in my bar of STATE SYSTEM, informing me that the "SCAN to FILE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE".  I'm guessing that some system calls are made in the background looking for the old 8500 SCAN on FILE that was on my desktop.

  I recommend to open Add or remove programs in Control Panel and make sure there are only installed nothing yet for the 8500 JO.

• Drive external drive is not accessible, access denied.

  My computer (Win7 Home Prem) ran chkdsk after an update of windows, probably triggered by ccleaner or glary utilities. My external hard drive was plugged during the update, reboot and chkdsk. The chkdsk command probably checked my coz external HD, I can see folders/paths that were there. The next day I couldn't access my HD due to a mistake, saying: it was not accessible and access is denied. I searched online potential solution and tried the following without success, and they have been applied using an admin account and an admin cmd.

  * Change the permissions and ownership, but the property always says it's impossible to determine the owner.

  * Changed the share permissions.

  * Do you have 'takeown' and a 'icalcs' has changed owner but same error.

  * Check the disk management, drive seemed ok with the letter drive and all.

  * Ran chkdsk /F on both of my C: drive and external hard drive, both completed successfully without error during the analysis and not found bad sectors.

  * Program of Unlocker used to check if player was running another process, found nothing.

  In my computer, it shows the letter drive and NTFS, but not bar showing free space. Properties would show 0 free space / used. Here I can go to cmd and access the content from there. I used the function of 'Explore disk' of glary Utilities and I could see the content and even run mp4/avi files in the player. So I guess the drive and its contents is ok, just that I can't access it through normal means.

As you mentioned that you are not able to access the external drive, and you receive the error of access denied when you connect to your user account, I suggest to try to create a new administrator user account and then try to access the external drive.

  31 system error has occurred.

  And this net view \\HOME-SERVER\Music gives (but in typing this in a browser address bar works!)
  53 system error has occurred.
  The network path was not found.
  However, net view 192.168.1.99 (my server address) correctly list the share on the server names (and entering \\192.168.1.99 in Explorer address bar works).
  I did a system restore until the problem occurred first to rule out any changes to the system.
  The problem occurred again.
  This means that my Sync Center shows none of my synchronization partnerships.
  Can anyone suggest the setting or service that must be corrected to solve system error 31 problem?

  The company that I started to work has created a Group Policy object that denies users from using removable devices such as cd/dvd players. They also have a group who has access to them, it worked most of the time, but I have problems with a single user. He is a member of the group that is allowed access to readers and removable storage however when he tries to open the files on a dvd, he receives an error:

  "D:\ is not accessible.

  Denied access to D:\ "(I think that this is the error that he sent me)

  I can remote in his work station and if I uninstall the reader of cd in Device Manager, reboot, reinstall, reboot, then it gives the same error, but if I uninstall the drive and reinstall without rebooting, the user can access the drive without errors. On the side, after a reboot it starts to make the same mistake. This seems like a problem with the users in AD account, as it is the only one that has this problem, but my manager does not re-create the user, is there another difficulty I can try?

  Charms bar / peripheral (what you call the sidebar) is used to access and use a specific device installed since in the modern user interface applications.

  The component devices in the settings of the PC is used to install and configure devices.

  Example:

  You want to install a printer. Connect the printer to the computer and open laptop settings / devices tab and select Add a device.

  If you want to use the printer from an application, such as the Photos App, open the app and select a photo. View the bar of charms, and then click devices. You should see the printer option there you can click to print the photo.

  If you select the devices in an application and there is no possible peripheral action, you will see the Second screen (default) option and the message that "nothing can be sent to .

  Example 2:

  If you use a desktop application and you want to print, use the traditional options of in applications of the file Menu.

  I have studied this error and you know it is recommended to adjust the PROXY settings.  However, I have no proxy in place.  Here's how I got here where I am:

  Last week I upgraded my MAC (OS x 10.9) JDK 1.7_55 and JDev 11.1.2.4.39.64.36.1. I use now a mistake at some point in the development process that makes no sense - in the initial phase.

  I tested my URL on Safari, Chrome & the customer REMAINS.  It works as expected.  So there is nothing wrong with the side server.

  
  

  Surprisingly, when I plug the URL in JDeveloper under the adfmf - application.xml-> Security-> authenticate & access control I get the error "specified Login URL is not accessible.
