• Sierra of MacOS - Siri cannot make voice calls.

  Hi guys,.

  Siri is supposed to be able to make phone calls via the iPhone, the Mac, in the Sierra de MacOS?

  Cause I can make phone calls (not the Facetime calls) fine if I use the Facetime on Mac app and click on the phone number, I want to call, or if I take a certain number of Contacts. • A copy of the Sierra of MacOS and travel on the same volume

  I installed a new copy of the Sierra of MacOS, and most things seem to be well-oiled. However, I noticed that when I copy a file and paste it on the same volume, a copy of it remains in the original location. So, by example, if I download a file in the Downloads folder and then copy this file in Documents, a copy of the file remains in the folder downloads. On previous versions of Mac OS x, the default action might have to move the file of Di-ownloads of Documents. Is it possible to recover this feature?

  Another totally independent question is I see also that Terminal does not save orders, after its closure. So if I entered a command then close Terminal, after the reopening, I have to type the same command again. On older versions of Mac OS x, we could simply use the arrow keys to navigate through previous orders. Is it possible to recover this feature?

  Try the press / hold down the command key while you click and drag a file from one folder to another. Like El Capitan, this should move the file.

  About Terminal, the up/down arrows always work for me to remind the right Terminal commands like they did with El Capitan.

  The recommended method for re-index/reconstruction is to open Spotlight preferences panel in system preferences, click on privacy. Now add the drive that you want to re - index to privacy window.   MS Office 2011 is still supported by Microsoft.

  I works fine on my MacBook Pro mid-2012 13 "run macOS Sierra.

  I upgraded to El Capitan, and it did not affect MS Office 2011.

• My reminders badge stuck at 1 in the sierra of macOS

  I have a '1' badge on my reminders on macOS.

  I have no outstanding callback and the badge does not appear on any of my devices iOS (iPhone, iPad), or iCloud.com. Unsyncing reminders in my preferences to iCloud deletes the indicator, but as soon as I turn this back on the badge will reappear. I deleted all my filled reminders and spent some time to replace all my regular reminders and still the badge is still there! I can't find a reminders preferences file to remove from the library. Killall Dock has no effect.

  There must be a corruption connected to my iCloud account which only affects the reminders under macOS, but how can I fix this problem? It's driving me crazy. Deactivation of the badge a little defeated the purpose.

  I have it exactly the same problem. I tried everything I know. I can't understand. I noticed other problems with Sierra beyond that. I'm about to go back to El Capitan.

  I downloaded the software of the day the software out and I tried to install it.

  I use a Macbook 2012 mid pro running El captain.

  Installation of macOs Sierra hung. I checked online that there was a way to see the progress of the installation by typing Command-P and I did but my macbook pro kernel panicked and rebooted and it was happening in loop.

  I called support apple customer and tried the following steps:

  1. I went into recovery and verified mode hard drive.

  2. in recovery, I tried the option "Reinstall macOS Sierra.

  3. I have reset the PRAM and the SMC

  and in the end after all that, I restored my macbook pro from a Time Machine backup.

  At first, I thought that it might be a problem of material, like the RAM, but the computer started beautifully after that I restored it to El captain.

  Then I thought that it could be the software so I re-uploaded it tried to install it again. Same question. Kernel panic and the loop.

  If anyone has any fix for this please tell me that I really don't want to use macOS Sierra

  Thank you for your question on the kernel panics and upgrade to Sierra on your Mac. We love never heard of problems with the updates or upgrades. I want to offer another method for updating your computer on Sierra.

  The first thing we want is that all your data on a Mac is safe and that you have a recent Time Machine backup. Once you have confirmed your backup, we want to format your drive and reinstall the current operating system, and then try to upgrade to Sierra without any of your personal data on the computer. We need to try it because the information in this article help: OS x: when your computer restarts spontaneously or poster "your computer restarted because of a problem." says that if your Mac restarts unexpectedly, known as a "kernel panic" error. After the reboot, you will see a message that your computer has restarted because of a problem. The most likely cause is a faulty software.   I upgraded to macOS Sierra last night and now Silverlight does more.  The message on the web page keeps telling me to install/upgrade to level Silverlight, but I have the latest version installed.  It worked perfectly until I installed the new macOS.  Any suggestions?

  I've recently updated my system to MacOS Sierra 10.12 PB3 to test and Adobe Reader acted weird since.  I get an error now (which was shown before) about the error 1042 connection Adobe Update Server when checking for updates.   Is no longer, I can check or receive updates.

  Has anyone else noticed this error?

  I have a Macbook Air from mid-2013 with 120 GB of SSD storage. I have updated my OS sierra and noticed that the 'system' takes up 100 GB of storage! I tried to delete my files, but for some reason, I still has a very high amount of the storage system.

  I decided to clean my computer everything and do a clean install. With the clean install, I have 50 GB of storage of the system. This sounds like a ton of storage used for system to me. Is this typical? I remember that a lot of space in the Yosemite/El Capitan.

  120 GB SSD storage does not work. What you need, it is 10 times this amount of storage and memory far more to have a working machine. Got a HD big or better get a new machine and couple HDDs connected outside your small computer.
