Sierra: VMWare broken
VmWare 6.0.6 does not work with Sierra, despite having worked in beta. Planned obsolescence.
FWIW, the latest version of VMWare Fusion is 8.5.0 and does it work with Sierra.

Sierra and VMWare Fusion 6.0.6 macOS does not?
I just updated my MacBook Pro (mid-2015) for macOS 10.12 "Sierra", and now when I try to start the Simulator BB10, it "just hangs" «forever» (at least as long as I'm patient enough to let stand at least 10 minutes, I'll try letting it sit UAB tonight) with the 'play' button displayed in the window of the program VMWare Fusion 6.0.6. By clicking on the 'play' button does nothing. When I try to quit VMWare Fusion, it again me, the Simulator is 'busy' and leaves me not even exit normally. I managed to force it to leave it in the Apple system menu.
Before that I pay to update my VMWare Fusion to the latest version, can anyone confirm if it (and the rest of the Momentics development system) will continue to operate under macOS 'Sierra '?

Well, good and less good news.
Good news, I installed the trial version of VMWare Fusion 8.5.0 on my macOS Sierra system 10.12 and the BB10 Simulator (at least, the latest version 10.3.2.281) works and my application can run on it!
Less good news, it runs * very * slow.
No 1200% slow as the virtualiation equipment turned off, but still slower than it was before.
Just in case someone comes in the future on this issue.

VMware tools to install Linux is broken in desktop 8.0.4
I'm trying to install vmware tools in a VM Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x 64.

The file is not missing, I'm interested in it right now in archive of gun zipper VMwareTools - 8.8.4 - 743747.tar.gz located in the VMware Tools for VMware Workstation 8.0.4 linux.iso file.
FWIW, I always install VMware Tools on Linux from a root shell (su - (including Ubuntu)) and the cd vmware-tools-distrib directory and start the installation simply with ./vmware-install.pl just like the instructions say to do, and it usually works without problem by providing that the prerequisites are met.

Integration of Clipboard/pasteboard Mac - VMWare 3.1.2 Windows broken
Just updated to 3.1.2 VMWare this morning.
Since then, I cannot copy of Mac (host OS) and paste it into Windows 7 x 64 (guest operating system) or vice versa as I previously could.
Any word?
This happens to me when I suspend and resume my VMs. A few times, it is solved by a disconnecting and logging back in (it restarts VMuser.exe), otherwise reboot the virtual machine usually works (This restarts the VMware Tools Service and VMuser.exe).
If the problem persists after restarting, repair tools VMware using the Virtual Machine > install Vmware Tools and choose repair tools. VMware has certainly a bug here with the tools. I collect data with Process Explorer to file a SR on this problem.

Crashing apps and the slow performance since the installation of macOS Sierra

Im a user of long date Mac but displays the first time that I was pretty happy with everything that on my macbook pro for the past years... until I installed Sierra a day ago.

Messages of the Sierra and the problems of continuity iMessage
I took these communities to try to resolve a problem which, for me, is as old as the first day iMessage became available for Mac.
I can't emphasize how incredibly boring, it is completely out of sync how both are. The problems are always the same:
(1) never are conversations in the issue of order/same on both devices. For example, for a conversation that has been exploited to iMessage on my iPhone, when I open my Mac, it appears in the notifications, like new. All the answers are there.
(2) a conversation that has been deleted from the iPhone suddenly appears on the opening on my Mac... seriously?
(3) the conversations that are deleted on my iPhone does not disappear in the Messages and vice versa.
To sum it all, pretty much the case is that both apps, while they expected to work simultaneously with fluidity to do what they want when they want.
This has been a problem since iMessage became available on Mac OS for the first time (think it was Mavericks). I've been waiting for Apple to fix this with each software update to make OSX or iOS. But guess what...?
My Mac running OS Sierra and my iPhone 6 s more running iOS 10.0.1. Everything that could be activated in so that they can work together has been activated and triple checked. I would really like to know if anyone has a way to fix this or if there is other people are having the same problem.

An excellent explanation of exactly how iMessages works on iPhone and Mac.
It does the same thing, if you add in an iPad or and iPod Touch.
iMessages are pushed, the Treaty is called, for devices that have been associated with (by adding the Apple ID on an iPhone).

update problems since macOS Sierra to iMovie
Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me out here because I'm starting to get really frustrated.
I have a MacBook Pro and yesterday I upgraded to macOS Sierra and I regret it now because when I wanted to work with iMovie today he is more worked how it used to. I make youTube videos for a living and I'm already a day behind my schedule download because of this problem. Basically what is happening, it's only when I imported my video files to my SD card into iMovie files seemed normal, however when I put them in a project and began to play them I noticed that the color was distant, it almost looks like there is a misty overlay. At first I thought that maybe my DSLR camera has broken out and checked the files on the SD card (played files to QuickTime) but they seem quite normal and how they should look, iMovie for a reason any turns them... I have no idea how to solve this problem, because I'm not even sure what really is the problem. Can someone help me please?

I don't know what is happening with the change of color in your timeline. Whenever there is an upgrade of the operating system there always is the possibility of conflicts with specific applications until the bugs have been worked. So, it is possible that your question is related to your recent update to OS Sierra - hard to say. I'm not aware of anyone who still displays with your problem.
Given that the problem appears only in your timeline, maybe media are complex and your computer is hard to deal with in the time line or keep in touch with your editing.
You can see if the problem is linked project by creating a new project with the same or different media. Is it possible to have a color filter activated inadvertently? You can also try to reopen iMovie while maintaining the option and command keys and selecting Remove preferences. Sometimes, it allows to launch iMovie in a different account, as your guest account, in which case there is a conflict with your current user account. If none of the works above, you can try to create a new library on your boot drive or disk formatted Apple iMovie and see if your projects are working properly. Another possibility is to restore your old operating system from Time Machine.

after upgrade to macOS sierra cannot connect to citrix receiver apps
I use Citrix receiver apps to make my day to day work. The same citrix apps are also accessible via a web browser (Safari) and everything worked fine until the version IE Capitan.
After upgrade to macOS sierra I can't you connect/launch of citrix apps. I tried with receiver and citrix via web browser as well, but its not connecting.
Is anyone else facing the same issue or know the fix.
Earlier, I thought that maybe some problem of connectivity, but after a lot of troubleshooting it still did not work and shows the same error "failed to initialize." (attached image).

I just upgraded to macOS Sierra and built-in Cisco IPsec VPN no longer works. When you try to connect, I get a "cannot validate the certificate of the server. "Check your settings and try to reconnect" error message. I use Cisco ASA with self-signed certificates and everything worked fine with previous versions of OS X.

I am having the same problem with StrongSwan and help cert signed with the channel to complete certificates included in the pkcs12 file imported to the keychain. It was working properly in El Capitan, but now broken in the Sierra.

Sierra out subscriptions to calendars Apple
MacOS (10.12) Sierra seems to have broken the SUBSCRIPTION of the calendar between platforms feature. I cannot subscribe to the calendars from Apple of my wife, nor can she sign up for mine. Furthermore, I do agree is more a calendar from Apple using the Outlook of Microsoft 365 calendar nor can I subscribe to a calendar from Apple to Google Calendar online help. Here are the functions I used frequently week last under OSX El Capitan to update my students in my history class the AP world on the events of the class on multiple platforms. I'm not having problems with my calendar. Subscribe to a calendar and I also synchronized Exchange calendar.
Test in a new user quickly will tell you if the problem is system-wide or if your user folder that contains the problem.
You can use the guest user or create a new user to test. Make sure you have your Apple ID and Exchange passwords.
CREATE A NEW USER
Go to system-> Preferences, create a new user in users and groups.
Switch to the new user by logging incoming/outgoing or use the fast user switching.
Sign in with your Apple ID. Only check calendar for this test.
By default only the applications Apple will be in the dock in the new user. Go to Applications to open other apps, that you can test.
You still see the issue?
If not, then the problem is in your user folder.

Help me stop iCloud Sync in Mac OS Sierra!
I upgraded to macOS Sierra 2 days. During Setup, I selected 'Use iCloud Drive' as I had used it with El Capitan on my MacBook Pro. The installation is complete, and I started to open my apps to see what was broken in the installation process. Also, I decided that I didn't want to use the new functionality of the Sierra that synchronized documents in iCloud and deleted the old ones to save space. I opened system preferences and unchecked optimize Mac storage in iCloud preferences, but I checked the Documents and the down payment in the same pane. I closed the preferences and started working on something else, but when I got back to the office later, I discovered that WHAT I had on the desktop was gone! I opened my iCloud drive icon and, of course, the office record shows with a cloud beside him. Then, I received a warning from sync box that my Inbox folder was gone and must be relinked. I opened the folder and ALL the files inside disappeared. Immediately, I went into system preferences and unchecked, the Documents and the desktop option, hoping things would return. They do not have. Now, iCould drive tries to download files to the cloud (that there is enough room to do it in the cloud), but it won't stop the synchronization. He moved 1 99 GB of data at a very slow pace. Now, when I go to system preferences to open iCloud and turn off sync, preferences system hangs and I have to force quit the program. I opened the folder of the iCloud drive and shows a synchronization of spinning in the lower right, but she apparently never connects.

I know that Razer is not and will not be for more than one week (button mapping is broken sensitivity and random, the settings are not saved). Hello. I have the Logitech MX Master. The only feature that I've lost has the ability to scan with the wheel. I used it to swipe to delete mail and it to go forward/back pages in Safari. I now put to show/hide the notifications. Other features of this mouse seem to work well.

Well, it's a release candidate, but probably close to the final version.
Also, don't forget Spotlight takes a long time to map the drive and logging takes some time to Index.

Broken HTML in the Blackberry10 Simulator.
Hello. I am writing an app for BB10. It will only be used with Q10 and Z10 devices, so I only use the methods available for BB10 API in WebWorks.
I write HTML today and the layout looks good in the ripple. But when I run an app in BB10 Simulator with VMWare Player my layout HTML seems broken. So here are my questions:
