Signature of the App Playbook

Hey soulouko,

I know a lot of people have seen troubled app there signing with Flash Builder (including myself)... .it says it works correctly but is not in fact sign the file of the bar.

A way to check if your file of BAR was actually signed is open (winrar or any other ZIP tool) and check the META-INF folder, a signed application should have 5 files in there.

Another way you can do is just sign your application using the line command, which is what I did and it was really simple. Just follow this guide:

http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-Air/useful-tip-package-images-via-com...

It could be useful, good luck!

    Hey everybody,

I'm a little confused about using the cmd line to sign my app on my mac. I'm trying to navigate to the folder on the blackberry sdk, which is located under my adobe flash builder directory burrito in my applications folder, but the terminal is not navigate there.

Is there someone who could help me in this process? I tried to type this in:

    CD /Applications/Adobe_Flash_Builder_Burrito/sdks/blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.3/bin/

but I get this error message:

CD: /Applications/Adobe_Flash_Builder_Burrito/sdks/blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.3/bin/: no such file or directory

You're on a mac, so drag-and-drop is the answer.

Open the terminal and type: "cd" and a space.

Go with the Finder in the directory, and remove the folder "bin" on the terminal window.

  • Signature of the app with the WebWorks SDK generates no COD files

    Hello

I'm trying to sign my application after this documentation: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/signing_your_smartphone_app_1919664_11.html

    After running:

    bbwp C:\myapp\HelloWorld.zip -g mypassword -o C:\myapp\signed

Furthermore, I don't receive any email from RIM authorized signatory.

    A thinking about it?

    Thank you

Yes - all you need is a BAR file. Here are the instructions to sign your application BB10:

  • Status of the App (? refused)

    Hi all!

On 24 November, I presented an update the portal provider for an existing application of Blackbery Playbook.  Then, four days later, I introduced a brand new Blackberry 10 application.  The update of the app Playbook still has a status of 'new', but the 10 BB app has already been discussed.  Is this normal?  I'm a little worried that I misunderstood the update process.

Unfortunately, I submitted my app just before the BB 10.0.9.1103 and Webworks 1.0.3 is out (at least just before I put the hand on them), so my app turned out to be incompatible with the last update.  So my app was denied and the status is "QNX - waiting on seller."  I presented an update in the same way as I did with the Playbook application, which has created another ticket with the status "new".

If the ticket ID are of no use, or if I can provide more information, please let me know.  I'm really afraid that my BB10 update will not get reviewed because the original version has the status "pending provider."

Yes, my Playbook application has finally discussed.  I don't know if they have two different teams working on the Playbook and BB10 or two different teams working on new vs. updated apps.  Whatever it is, the applications are not reviewed on the basis of first-come, first served.

In addition, it may take time for apps get through.  My average time so far was about 2 weeks after the date of presentation at the same time I can have it in the Blackberry world, assuming that it has not been rejected.  Obviously, rejected apps must resubmit and then go through another process of review of 2 weeks.

  • Problem signature App Playbook with ripple

I am signing my app playbook with ripple. I use version 2.2.0.5 of the tablet OS SDK.
I downloaded signature keys and installed them. I was able to generate a signed application.

However, the second time that I tried to build an application signed, I get the below error. All subsequent attempts to sign the app failed with the same error. The only change that I did between the first and the second was to activate my wireless router I have compiled and signed application push on my test device Playbook automatically via wifi using ripple. I don't see how this would have caused an error like the one below, however. Also, I know that the passwords that I am providing are correct.

  • New version of the app is signed with old/invalid signature keys

    Hello

My Forte.fm application (the only Rdio cirrently client available for BB10), broke from the OS 10.1. I put off fixing it because I had passed to Android, but I want to make it work again. It's a WebWorks app, and the versions currently in App World are signed with the old style keys. I tried a number of different methods of conversion/link my old signature with my BBID keys, but nothing that I've done the work. The closest I came to a successful outing is an App World error, saying: the keys are incompatible with previous versions.

At this point, I just want to sign it with my new keys, but I can't download on App World from my existing application bears the same name. Because the app is broken for 2 years, I don't think it would be much of a loss to wipe out the 50 + 1 star reviews that said: it's broken.

I built this app as sort of a 'labor of love' because I can't charge due to conditions of use Rdio. Really, I'd like to see people who can use it and get some good reviews for an application that works fine in a browser and on Android.

I couldn't find info of direct contact for support to BlackBerry developers, so I'll also here: can someone help me get a working version of newly signed my existing application?

For the curious, the app was introduced with a flourish by launching:
    http://CrackBerry.com/no-RDIO-app-BlackBerry-10-yet-try-fortefm

You can use the linked form to below to ask that the BlackBerry World supplier management team reset your existing Package ID.  This will allow you to download a new version signed with a different key.

  • Encryption and Protection of SQLite database - App of signature with the Signature of Blackberry tool

    Hello

I am trying to encrypt and protect my SQLite database. To do this, I have generated a pair of public/private key using the administration Blackberry signature tool. Then, I added the .key file to my project and written the code for encryption and data protection. Then, I signed the app with Blackberry signing authority tool such as mentioned in the documentation. It was duly signed. But my application does not work on the device. It shows that my application tries to access a secure API which means that it is not properly signed.

    What could be the problem?

And also I want to know what is the difference between the signing of the "Tool of signed" app within the eclipse and sign the application with "Blackberry signing authority tool '?

I sign my application with eclipse itself "tool of signed" before adding the public .key file and it worked very well.

    Please suggest.

    Thank you.

    You must sign with both.

Then we cloned TEST such as:

  • Hi, I am a consultant technical oracle apps HRMS. I wanted to know, can we implement Digital Signatures in the XML Reports.if Oracle Applications 11i Yes what is the approach to do? Your prompt response is appreciated. Sincerely, Patrice Sayyad.

    Hello

I am Consultant technical Oracle Apps HRMS.

I wanted to know, if we can make Digital Signatures in the reports XML for HRMS application of Oracle 11i applications.

If so, what is the approach to do so.

    Your prompt response is appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Jean Michel Sayyad.

    Hi Patrice,

The BI Publisher standard part of EBS applications.

Most of the EBS reports (R12) rely on BI Publisher.

If you check the 'XML Publisher Administrator' responsibility, you can see all the models used in the application.

Your technical team should already know this.

On the other hand OBIEE need separate licenses.

But for you would be BI Publisher.

    See you soon,.

  • Display playBook UI languages / locales (for the location of the app)

    Hi guys,.

Does anyone know if PlayBook must support any additional screen / user interface languages to launch? The Simulator is only in English, but I plan for my application support at least 5 languages and I was wondering if the real PlayBook must support more than English releasing. I don't want to add a custom code for this (i.e., no menu language Options in my application), but I have 5 .xml files so that it automatically chooses the right one based on the locale OS user chosen, just like Android did. Any thoughts? Thank you!

I don't think that anyone here who is non - RIM would know the real answer to that.  The PB will allow more than one locale since is a native of Flex/AIR, but it will be in the version of product next month?  Find out then.  Your application can simply query the current locale.  You probably don't need to have your own preference for it (but you can of course).
