Signature Simulator

Hi, I'm totally new to BB dev. I'll make an application in the kit of native development. I was hoping to use .net, but I don't know where to start here. I'm new to C++, but having 18 years of web development, VB, VBA VB.net, Java and Java. I pick up new languages easy. So I have the Simulator running on my MacBook Pro. I have the native SDK on a virtual machine in windows 8 (because I was going to use .net). So my SDK can see the SIM (by the virtual machine) and I get to the symbolic part. Now, he says "the debugging token creation error". If I try to import a he wants a .bar file but that BB gave me is a .csk file. Renaming does not work. Any help would be great. If you have visual studio info that would be better. I installed the libraries of VS, but beyond that, I'm lost. Have not used VS in a few years because I've been in Java. Thank you

In the momentix

1 - the window-> Preferences-> Blackberry-> signature-> back to the top (put the 2 files and it will generate the zip file).

2 - window-> Preferences-> Blackberry-> signature-> restore (this is the file generated in step 1).

3 - file-> export-> Blackberry-> Release Build-> next-> finish (put the password of the key, it will generate the file .bar, it comes to the record of arm-> o.le - v7)

All the BlackBerry Widgets require the signature, even if you are not using a single line of JavaScript.

The software BlackBerry Widget SDK generates the Java code required to create the widget.  The display of web content in a Java BrowserField, which requires a signature.  Therefore, all the widgets must be signed.

Code signing keys are usually issued within 2 days of the order, but may take up to 10 business days.

  • The difficulty to launch android applications reconditioned on device PlayBook (Simulator OK)

Just updated my android app and it passed verification.  I will install on my PlayBook, and it won't start.

The application works on the new 2.0 PlayBook Simulator very well, but when I go to install on the current device, it installs, but will not start.

I tried without success (all these I tried both USB and WiFi connection) the following:

    • Restart the PlayBook after the 2.0 update (several times)
    • Signature of the bar and the deployment using command-line tools
    • Do not sign the bar and deployment via command line tools (after configuring Debug token)
    • Deployment by using the new eclipse plugin - is to expire, I have even increased the time-out value of 60 seconds and much more), it gets stuck on "Launch BlackBerry Android Runtime."... ", then a message that says" failed to connect ├a 192.168.1.139 to BAD! »

Also, I'm under Mac OSX Lion and v2.0.0.3778 PlayBook.

Anyone else having any of these issues or having luck getting your reconditioned apps to run on the real device?

Any of you installed a pre-beta version of an Android player that has been disclosed on another forum?

  • Simulator of don't support Eclipse project

A small HelloWorld application load in the simulator of Eclipse without problem.  If I add a lot of code not used for the same project HelloWorld, then the Simulator always starts, but the app is no longer available in the Simulator.

I have an app LWUIT BB I want to convert a BB natively.  That's what I really want to be able to debug.  The case of HelloWorld seems to be a hint about the issue.  When I deploy the application that it deploys in multiple COD files if that's relevant.

I'm using Eclipse 3.5 and the last BB plugin (1.1.2.20100041610203 - 16 Eclipse on)

Three different issues have conspired to cause me pain.

    1) there are two consoles at the launch of a debugging session.  Simulator and output packaging.  Out of the box gets moved by the Simulator output once the Simulator starts.  For me, out of the box (hidden until you choose) showed that the jar program is not found.  With this information, I searched and found that I needed to add the JDK bin directory to my system wide path environment variable.

    (2) I started with an existing project that I checked on a SVN repository.  Apparently, this is a no go.  After that I started a new workspace and created a new project of BB and then manually copied into my source, I was able to debug.   With the help of a pre 1.1 plugin project will compile and would launch the Simulator, but the ongoing project of debugging are not available in the Simulator.

    (3) I had to choose the code to delete warnings signature in the preferences of BB.  It is actually an optional step, but without it the clean process will sit analysis sources for a long time (5 to 20 minutes).  With these warnings off, it behaves as expected.

  • SQLite signature required

I try to connect database sqlite. I gave this warning. It's not just signalling of error.

Signature required: RIM Runtime API (0 x 52525400): class net.rim.device.api.system.CodeModuleManager protected

Is how important it? If it is, how can I fix this?

If you run the application on a real device then your application must be signed.  on the Simulator, there is no need to sign your application.

I always do a 'clean' generation for versions.  This was not it.

  • signed, but stll "this app does not contain a signature.

    Hello

I got the RIM signing keys and signed my application. I have 3 JDE installed on the pc (4.1, 4.3 and 4.6) on dev pc, but when I ran the csi files, everything is going well and when I double click on the cod files signed, I see in the signed tool that the cod files are signed with all 3 keys.

However, when I download the app (OTA) on a simulator (4.2.0.71) of device 8100 I received a message "..., this application contains no signature. Other simulators (4.1, 4.6) does not display this message. What is something connected only to this specific emulator, or is it something else?

Also, is there an easy way to check what signature tool (including JDE) is related to the csi now files? As I said, I use 3 BB JDE.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

  • MDS Simulator "do not have access to.

I am trying to build a simple Midlet based soap client. I'm using kSOAP2

    I use:

    Blackberry Simulator 9000 - 4.6.0.150

    JDE 4.7.0.41

    4.1.2 MDS Simulator

Web service based on kSOAP2 (best docs and depolyment simpler)

I am able to browse the web inside the Simulator, but when I try to connect to my web service deployed locally (http://127.0.0.1: 8061/MobileSOAP/service), I can't seem to connect. The MDS Simulator complains:

    <2009-09-21 10:38:48.526 EDT>:[264]:::

I'm guessing this has something to do with the site, signatures and other things security, as

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=BlackBerryEnterpriseSolution&message...

but this link guess I have a BlackBerry Enterprise serve, and I hope that I don't have to deploy just to get a soap client working.

How can I get the MDS Simulator to allow localhost requests?

I'll have more problems when I deploy to interact with our web production servers?

    Thank you

    PS

In case you think that my service is down, I have an Oracle installation on my machine that has its own web service (http://127.0.0.1: 8080/apex /), and I use firefox to load the page and perform administrative tasks. But I can't use the BB Simulator even browser load the page. Yet once again, the MDS complains:

    <2009-09-21 11:13:30.510 EDT>:[371]:::

In case you worry, my demand was showing

    org.kxml.io.ParseException: unexpected: ParseEvent type=128 text="Not authorized to access 127.0.0.1:8061' @-1:-1

I spent an hour in the examination of the documents and forming my question only to find out the address IP is false, ONCE I confirmed the issue!

I could have used my public IP not localhost or 127.0.0.1

  • What is the. BAR for publication? the one in the folder /Simulator/ or /Device/?

Just got my problem fixed signature. And now, I want to know what is good. BAR the file that will be submitted to the AppWorld. Is - that of the folder of the device or in the Simulator? or both is ok? Thanks to the advanced guys.

the in the folder of device is for publication.

It is the only one that works on the device.

  • Two questions relating to the signature using restricted code API: s

    First question

I have a library that contains classes that requires the signature in order to use API:s. limited one of the functions in the library uses "persistent storage". My application accesses the library import library module, then instanciates and calls the function that I need.

Is it enough to have signed library or don't call asking the library must sign too?

    Second question

Is it possible to configure the simulator so it actually tests that the modules using API: s limits are signed correctly?

Check the Simulator definition "activate the safety of the device. When this setting is enabled, the Simulator checks would be signatures almost like a true pocket computer. For your application, which should be pretty good. If your module is missing a required signature, the simulated Pocket will complain even as would a normal hand.

  • Webworks app - same keys as signature by signing the java application?

    Hi people.

I develop java applications and I joined them successfully.

Now, I tried to use webworks so I installed the sdk and the ripple. Application works well in the Simulator, but I want to deploy to the device, so I need sign app. My question is: is webwork using the same keys for the signature of the app which are used in a java application? Or I need new keys for webwork?
