Silver FX Pro installation

Use Silver FX Pro software for several years now. Tried to download the program on the new computer (with final security: i.e. computer never connects to the internet), but it requires new access code / serial No. I don't own. How can I get some necessary # is so I can install the program on the new computer?

  • Silver efex pro 2 is no longer export option in lightroom 4

    I have the collection of NIK software (silver efex pro, etc.), properly downloaded on osx 10.8.4.  the last time I used lightroom 4 to export images, silver efex pro 2 is an option.  I did it with success several times, but now silver efex pro 2 is no longer an option in lightroom.  I would like to know how to get it back.  Thank you!

    You have probably updated to SP-1 and SP - 2 maybe since then and the CD is without both.

    You try to restore the system from the cd, or re - install the OS from it?

    Research in the Bios (reboot and press F1 or F2 depending on your system, check that all usb options are enabled (for example, USB legacy or support for USB 2.0 devices).)

    If there is a timeout parameter, set it to Max.

    Then, find the boot device priority section

    A USB flash drive, which is usually listed as USB - HDD, but may be listed as a removable device, will have a priority very low start.

    Rearrange the boot device priority so that the flash drive has a higher priority than the hard drive.

    Install Windows XP from USB key

    • Insert the USB key into the USB port on the computer.

    • Open the "I386" folder and find the file "Winnt.exe".

    Double-click on the "Winnt.exe" to launch a command prompt BACK to an installation of Windows XP.

    Type the path of the location of your "I386" folder in the DOS window. For example, if your USB is the letter "D" in your "My Computer" window, type "d:\i386" without the quotes and press the Enter"" key.

    Let the installation program copy the Windows XP installation files on your computer.

    Restart your computer to a command prompt. The Windows XP Setup will continue automatically.

  • Corel PaintShop Pro installs directx config then X 3 installation stops

    After taking 4 hours for the wizard to install the files, the installation program starts and runs until what directx config displays when the installation ends.

    SOLVED! I went through this same problem. The problem is that Corel Paint Shop Pro installation tries to run the version of DirectX 2007 right off the bat during the installation process and it will fail to install because it is in conflict with the new version of DirectX that comes with Windows 7. Corel's marketing hype said their programs are compatible Windows 7. How DirectX is now integrated into the operating system, why in the world would they attempt to install an older version of DirectX? Compatible with Windows 7? I don't think so!

    HOW TO FIX:
    (1) run the installer as usual.

    (2) for the configuration of the installation, the installer will extract a ton of files in a temporary folder named c:\users\yourname\appdata\local\Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro\1.1.5.001. It comes to the actual installation of Paint Shop Pro extracted. I don't know the exact name of the folder, but just look in your account in c:\users\yourname\appdata\local folder, and you'll see a newly created Corel folder. CAVEAT! If you quit the Setup program, it will automatically delete this entire folder structure, so don't hit the button 'FINISH' until you complete the following steps!

    (3) when the Corel dialog ask accept you the contract of license, open Windows Explorer and copy the installation Corel since \users\yourname\appdata\local to somewhere else, directory structure such as your desktop. This will ensure that the files are not deleted, and you can go run setup.exe as many times as you want.

    (4) now you can fill or kill the original installation of Corel Paint Shop program still running on your PC. After she fails and you press the button COMPLETE, it will automatically delete the folders that it created under c:\users\yourname\appdata\local.

    (5) access to your new COPY of the installation Corel folder, drill down to the 1.1.5.001 which is a subfolder and edit the file setup.xml with a text editor.     By using the Insert menu option upon registration of the action that I can get Silver Efex to launch, but when I press OK of Silver Efex, the effect is not been applied to the image.

    If you want to use an action and any other action, you need to do is to play the action while recording the action that you want to use in.  Also, I don't think that Silver Efex Pro is an action.  If you were able to insert in and action with the help of Insert Menu items.  Actions are not the menu items...  Thing as plug-ins, filters, scripts are.  These could be inserted as a menu Item.  In this case, they would be interactive measures that would open the dialog boxes and require the intervention of the user.  The effect of Silver Pro is a plug-in with the support of the action you should just use it when you save your action.  For a plug-in with action support will save the settings that you used when you save the action in this stage of the action. When the Action is played. It will take the plugin will pass revealing its dialog box and use the parameter it recorded in the action step without user intervention...

    Not all Plug-ins have the support of the Action, and only some scripts like Image Fit are Photoshop plug-in which allows to record their actions dialog box settings to differentiate.

    I'm have not used Silver Efex pro, but understand now you're working with B & W images are weakening in LR. What you are likely to see is not a tint or color difference, but a "lighter" image It appears as less color saturation, since the image is monotonous.

    As Gene McCullagh mentioned this is due to the differences in library modules and develop an overview of rendering the preview to view fewer images of 1:1. If a high ISO image is sharper and has asked insufficient Luminance Noise reduction may seem brighter and less strong in the library less than 1:1 view module (i.e. Fit).     Also Adobe CC, BASICALLY, HE just left and I had to uninstall, re install, and I get this

    Also, I came across this problem. When I tried to install it using the direct Installer (linked to http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2015-direct-download-links.html), it has not as well, but the error log said:

  • Bootcamp/windows 10 Pro installation process fails

    Machine: MacBook Pro (retina, 150inch, Mid2015)

    El Capitan, 10.11.4

    Processor 2.8 GHz 16 GB Mem

    New MacBook with an instance of Time Machine saved from previous MacBook Pro

    Trying to install fresh Windows 10 Pro 64-bit image on a new 130GB partition created by Bootcamp.

    1. I ran bootcamp.
    2. Bootcamp Assistant downloads the drivers Windows and 'medium '.
    3. Bootcamp Assistant creates the disk partition, and then switches to Windows (no need USB), Windows.iso image is very good by Bootcamp.
    4. "Windows Setup" starts its thing.
    5. Screen 1: I am asked to confirm the installation, and accept the license.
    6. Screen 2: I enter my license key Pro 10 MS Windows in the form of xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
    7. Screen 3: not below, program installing Windows says "no images available.

    The Windows Installer will not leave here, and I interpret that as he cannot locate a disk image for installation of.

    I searched these forums a bit to find answers. I tried to copy the file Windows.iso on an external USB drive and that the selection as the source image and even the achievement of results as shown above.

    I looked at the menu "Actions" in the Bootcamp Assistant and that the only available element is 'Download Support Windows software' or something similar. I did and saved a folder on my Mac desktop, but it is nothing new.

    I have reset the PRAM with Cmnd-Option-P-R and the MSC with the Shift-command-Option-Power button. Once again nothing.

    Between each attempt, I'm in the Bootcamp Assistant and remove the Windows Partition of my drive.

    If anyone knows why the Windows Installer cannot find the ISO file or what steps I must take to install Windows Pro 10, I should be grateful if you would hear about it.

    Followed, after contact Apple support, by sending in diagnosis and return just GENERALS of Apple engineers... I did a thorough cleaning of my PowerBook. Using the command-R during restart, started in Recovery Mode or what it's called, used the disk utility, wiped and formatted the drive. Made a new fresh install of OS X el Capitan. Updated. THEN, I installed Windows with BootCamp Assistant. The process worked. My hunch is that use Time Machine to power my new machine was the culprit. I am betting that Time Machine copied on the parameters of my previous machine (a mid-2011 Powerbook), on this new Powerbook from 2015. That's the only difference. So it is now resolved.

    Hi guys, everything becomes to collect my newly bought mac pro 3.1 (used). I'm moving PC, but how do I add my existing installation of windows on my mac? The mac pro is 3.1 and has 2 x 500 GB disks in a raid 1 TB configuration. It's just a matter of plugging my windows disk (I'm guessing No.) or is it a bit more complex than that? Any help or advice will be appreciated and hope to give back as much help as I get that I'm learning. Thank you

    You can install Windows on a Mac computer using Boot Camp Assistant or by using a Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox virtual machine natively. Refer to the instructions of Boot Camp located here: http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/. OT If using a virtual machine see the instructions located on the Parallels, Fusion or VirtualBox sites.

    In both cases you can not use a PC already existing installation of Windows. You need to reinstall Windows on your Mac.

    just bought a M50-226, which works very well with the pre-installed XP Home. But I need professional... it won't install...
    I start the pc from the CD starts to copy the files... and then after a while screen goes black with only the cursor flashing at the top left... Nothing happens then more... This can be corrected when you press F5 in the beginning of the installation of xp a choice "Standard PC" rather than "ACPI Uniprocessor PC"... but good... This is a laptop that really needs ACPI and the functions of power supply...

    Can someone help me install xp pro on the M50 226?

    I had the same problem. You need a cd XP with service pack 2 win. If you don't have it you can integrate (slipstream) SP2 into your existing and CD bearing the same serial number and averything. The procedure is to copy your CD on a HD, SP2 download from microsoft.com, get a software with which you can extract the boot image, running orders and burn the result to a blank CD. There are some easy to follow HOWTOs on the web, but you need a windows XP PC work to do.

    Well, the driver installation is very easy.
    After successful installation of the Win XP operating system in this laptop download all drivers Toshiba and MS QFEs and install it.

    The right installation order would be desirable but it s not a bible. If you can try your own install command.
    I recommend installing the chipset utility after installing all patches QFE from Toshiba page.
