  I'm have not used Silver Efex pro, but understand now you're working with B & W images are weakening in LR. What you are likely to see is not a tint or color difference, but a "lighter" image It appears as less color saturation, since the image is monotonous.

• Lightroom export options?

  I'm having a terrible time trying to understand export options in lightroom 5. I read everything that google could deliver me and I find myself still lost.

  I want to export photos and sharpen their export. I want to export them in specific folders specified by size; a case of 4 x 6, 5 x 7 or even a folder of 24 x 36.

  I'm lost when it comes to the difference between 'Width and height' or 'Dimensions' what is the difference between the two?

  I am able to type 4 x 6 intp the boxes on either, but I do not know which option is preferable to use, or if they will give me results of difference?

• NIK HDR Efex Pro 2 with Photoshop CC anomaly

  Whenever I use HDR Efex Pro 2 to create a HDR when I get back to Photoshop CC the Preview size/hardness of the brush is missing.

  To re-create the error, run Photoshop CC, open the 5 files to create an HDR.  Select one of the files, while pressing control and Option click and drag on the image.  Note that the outline of the brush displays also a model, default value is red, with the outline of the brush.

  Image used in the tests is an of a Digital Rebel XT 8-megapixel image.  The image was taken in 2006.

  If I select "Edit In" in Lightroom, choose Color Efex Pro 4, wait the preview display, and then select the fog filter it takes 2 minutes and 39 seconds on the 'calculation' go away and the image to be presented.

  I received an email of Nik response.  They acknowledged that this problem has been known "a small amount of time in the past" and went on to say that maybe it's duplicate fonts.

  I replied that I have not all fonts in duplicate so that isn't the problem. Now waiting on their reply.

  Nik reacted very quickly.  They completely admitted that this problem has been reported several times recently and their development team is "working on it".

  As well as many suggestions - which has indicated that with the exception of paragraph first, it's a boilerplate answer - should be making sure that your video card is up-to-date and supported.

  Their first paragraph suggests forcing the CEfex Pro 4.0 app to run in 32-bit mode.  It worked - the slow descent of the Efex app running LR has disappeared - at least on my system.

• Windows 7 Pro Sp1 is no longer the validation

  My genuine copy of Windows 7 Pro Sp1 is no longer valid.  Apparently, I have "24 days to activate.

  I have my product key (see below)

  Basically, I had to wipe my SSD and reinstall my Windows 7 thanks to my new drivers to Saitek X 52 pro almost gives me a heart attack.  This is a known issue and my lack of knowledge between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 was the cause.
