Silverlight and Windows 7-64 bit. Installation issues.

XP was a problem.  Now I have Windows 7-64 bit.  Not all my Zune music files have been saved.  Tried to reinstall Zune.  Did.  Then I get this message from Silverlight.  Downloaded 5 times.  Does not appear as if it has been downloaded.

Also having a problem with my Zune being recognized by my computer now.  * sigh *.

Also, I need to know if I can replace the music files on my Zune device to my computer or my collection.  I feel I'm starting all over again and I'm lost with this.

Hi QZune,

1. you receive an error message during the installation of Silverlight on the computer?

(a) the Get programs by clicking the Start button

(b) click on Control Panel, click programs, click programs and features

(c) in the list of audit of program installed if Silverlight is installed or not.

If you do not have Silverlight in the list, and then use below to download and install Silverlight 4

If you see Silverlight in the list, then use the link below to first uninstall and then restart the computer and install it back

  • HELP PLEASE! WUSB100 ver. 2 and WUSB54GC worm. 3 and Windows 7 64 bit

So I got both of these cards and can not get either to work with Windows 7 64 bit installation. The WUSB100 presents on the compatibility list as being compatible with 32-bit and 64 - bit Windows 7. The worm shows. 3 WUSB54GC is compatibile with Windows 7 32 bit only.

In both cases I get an error 211 and uninstalled and restarted the computer more than 6 times with the same result. In both cases, Device Manager displays the device as being installed and working properly. However, I have never displayed a wireless adapter in network connections and it never shows the available wireless connections.

Any suggestions on what I can try before I tell all my clients to stay away from Cisco/Linksys products when it comes to Windows 7?

    Thank you

    Craig

I was able to download the latest drivers from Mediatek which apparently took Ralink. The latest drivers for version WUSB100 2 here:

    http://www.MediaTek.com/en/downloads/

    Select the first:

    USB (RT2870 / RT2770 / RT307X / RT2070 RT357X / RT3370 / RT8070 / RT5X7X / MT7610 / MT7601/MT7612U)

The WUSB100 uses the chip of the RT2870 and this installation package updated the existing installation without having to unplug or restart the computer. He now works very well.

I was put on the right track by reading some previous posts years ago who suggested to go to Ralink tech which is no longer available, but I was able to understand.

Linksys should remove compatible drivers 'so-called' because in fact they are not, and do not work. They might want to consider getting the above driver and add to their clients in order to save some people the aggravation.

Virtual private networks have little to do with the domains or working groups.

I don't think that WIndows 98 can join to a domain.  All versions of WIndows, you mention should be able to participate in a working group, however.

In my opinion, the best way to share a printer is to use a printer connected to the network

  • Acrobat 8 or 9 with Windows 7 64 bit - printing issue: new installation, upgrade to Vista.

Acrobat does not print using the PDF Converter.  I can print a PDF file on a conventional printer (not), but when you use printing > Adobe PDF as the printer selected, nothing happens. As a result, cannot make PDFs of web pages etc.  There is a problem reported by the AdobePDF.dll_64, during the installation.  I downloaded that separately and reached a complete reinstallation of 8 from Adobe, which previously worked perfectly on Vista.

    Try this first: http://www.sevenforums.com/software/2092-adobe-cs4-under-7-x64-pdf-printer.html

Error "the file AdobePDF.dll is needed..." "When you install Creative Suite 3 on 64-bit (Windows 7 64-bit) Windows Solution

Manually extract the 'adobepdf.dll_64 ' of the file data1.cab file before installing Acrobat. When the prompt appears, navigate to this file and select it.

    1. Navigate to the folder that contains the file setup.exe to your installation of Acrobat 8.
    2. Locate the file "data1.cab" and open it (this may require a third-party compression utility, such as WinZip).
    3. Inside the content list, locate the file "adobepdf.dll_64" and copy it to your desktop.
    4. Run the program setup.exe installation and when the prompt appears, select Browse and select the file that you copied to the desktop.
Note: If the file cannot be selected, change the file type drown down in the dialog box to "All files", or rename the file "adobepdf.dll" by removing "_64" from the end of the file extension.

    More information

Because the Adobe PDF printer is not supported on 64-bit operating systems, version 64 bits of the AdobePDF.dll does not get extracted during installation. So, the installation program is unable to locate him. Although Acrobat is installed, the Adobe PDF printer will not install. Following the update procedure above will address the issue.

I have Windows 7 32 bit as my operating system present. I am trying to install Windows 7 64 bit (paid for a new code) on a separate formatted a hard drive in order to have the option of dual-boot. I changed the first boot device to my optical drive and start the computer from the installation disc. He jump the hoops with questions about installation (English language, etc.) The final step when he says that the installation is complete, it's the re-start. That's when the trouble starts; rather than show the new 64 bit OS it repeat the installation process by asking my preferred language and move to the stage of the installation, once again! He continues to do over and over again until I stopped him. I should mention that I have 5 drives running in my PC. Drive C is the primary boot device that has the 32 bit OS. I try to install the 64-bit in a freshly formatted 2 GB hard drive. Installation will show me all 5 hard drives when I am asked for a location to install the 64 bit OS. The format is one of these choices it trying to install to. I checked that my processor is capable of 64-bit. Any ideas? Thank you.

After restarting, try to remove the disc and the start of the boot drive and see if it displays a boot manager that starts in the next phase of the Setup program.

    Hello

Have you tried to use the Vista driver?
Check it out and try it!

Most Vista drivers work well with Win 7.

  • Package of added value and Windows Vista 64-bit on Satellite P200

Hello, recently I changed Windows version of 32-bit to 64-bit. Everything works perfectly except PPV.

When I try to install it, it produces an error message that says:

    ID_ERR_NOTINSTALLTVALZ_MESSAGE

I found in some old discussions that I should update my bios, so I downloaded most recent bios, and when I tried to update, the pop-up message that I already have this version.

    I did some research and I found some drivers for the 64-bit version - [link to driver | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 152 & selProduct = 746 & selSho rtMod = null & language = 13 & selOS = 27 & selType = all & yearup load = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = al lMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = all & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = all & page = 1 & ID = 61866 & DISO = 27 & driverLanguage = 13]
and in the statement, he said that I should
"It's only the driver of value added package for 64-bit computers. Installation instructions: 1. unzip the zip-> 2. Right-click on the "TVALZ_O.INI" file-> 3. After a right-click on the file, choose "Install" from the context menu. »
But when I do that there is an error message that says that this INF file selected does not support this method of installation.
I tried to install it in safe mode, but the error is the same.

Maybe I should put these drivers in a specific location? If Yes, where?
Who can I install everything first? VAP installation for 32 bit, then driver for 64-bit? Or maybe the other way around?

If someone could write me a clear instruction how step by step, I would be really grateful.

My system: Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate with SP1
    My Notebook: P200 series

Best regards, Paul of the Poland.

Hmm, I wonder about this sentence
    > I've done some research and I found some drivers for the 64 bit version

What is your laptop model number? Have you chosen the right Toshiba VAP for the right notebook series?

If you have chosen the correct drivers (for the right notebook series) then try to copy the extracted files in the folder of Toshiba Value Package added to programs-> Toshiba-> Toshiba Value added Package.

Then try to run the ini file as described on the page of the European driver Toshiba.
