Simple Led calendar

Hey all,.

I would like to add a function of timing in the program attached such as:

-Keep the Led1 on t seconds while maintaining the free Led2 allowing you to alternate.
In other words, during a directed for a certain period of time, we should be able to manipulate independent led1 Led2 (toggle).

Try this (5 can be changed according to your Dungeon better Value T as Control)

  • How to create the rule to trigger only 5 and 20th of each month in Foglight

    Hi team,

One needs to create a rule in Foglight that fire only a day as the 5th and 20th of each month and check the status. I tried to create it, but I've not found an option less create rule. I think we can do it by Time Driven option or calendar drove but I'm confuse. Can someone let me know how or the document where it mentioned.

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Thank you

    Shashank Soni.

That sounds more like a rule-based program.  First, create a new calendar and choose the monthly option and enter one of the days of the month.  I think it might be difficult to get a calendar to be true on two different days, you may create two programs and then create a rule for each.  We can be one simple copy of the other.  Once the calendar is created, you can create a rule, choose led calendar and choose one of your two annexes.

Maybe someone can be smarter about how to create a monthly calendar for two different dates.

    I hope this helps.

  • Network shared Variable breaks rtexe

I have a cRIO-9063 which I want to use for the control (PWM digital output for pumps signals) and measurement (temperature and voltage) of a system. In the ideal configuration the cRIO would be able to take measures and rebroadcast to a PC for monitoring and logging. The PC must be also able to change the digital output PWM on the cRIO lines. The cRIO should be able to continue to operate when the PC is not available. To do this, I use Scan interface for data acquisition and shared variables (single editor, no RT FIFO) hosted on the cRIO for network communication.

I have developed the code for the target cRIO as well as my host PC meets my criteria. However, this code only works in development mode. When I try to build and deploy a rtexe on the cRIO, it does not work. I reinforced to the back and made a simple LED flashing user vi, ensure what I create and deploy properly. Slowly adding things to this flashing vi, I discovered it's shared network variables that break the vi once it is integrated into a rtexe.

After flipping through other-related posts, I'll include the following:

-There is no object on the remote VI front panel. Simply add a variable node shared is enough to break the vi (when it is deployed).

-J' tried including my shared variable library in support of the construction directory, but what I saw there is not copied during construction or deployment. I manually copied the library to the /home/lvuser/natinst/bin/data / directory on the cRIO, then used an invoke node to deploy the cRIO variables when the software starts first. Even when you include a delay of 10 seconds after the invoke node, it did not work, just a mistake of 1043 at "the method or property is not supported in this version of LabVIEW."

    -NSV is referenced as absolute

    Some details of my configuration:

    LabVIEW 2015

    cRIO 15.0

    NOR-RIO 15.0

    Communication via ethernet, static IP

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I suspect that I forget a few minor step or detail, otherwise am poorly understand exactly how and when shared network variables are deployed.

I found shared to not be worthwhile over the years network variables.

The RT EXE is not able to use the library to deploy to deploy the shared Variables.  See Help topic: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361M-01/lvprop/app_libdeploy_library/

In general, SV are deployed once the project and they persist through reboots of the RT system.  In general, you should have a startup routine that checks the shared variables and expected for there to be without error on a node of the OAS and then move on to the rest of the program, defining the commissioning of values and check that they spread in the engine of the Variable is a typical method.

See here for more information on the deployment of a variable in an application of the RT.  http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/990508969805A7C086257619007189E7

The section deployment of Variables shared in a real-time (RT) target running Headlessly is downstairs.  Because you are connected to an HMI PC, you should be able to use the library to deploy feature of the PC code targeting the cRIO.

Usually, it's a faster, more scalable solution to replace your shared network Variables with a stream of network dedicated to the HMI and another for HMI - RT EXE commands.  You can send complex structures such as a cluster or even define the message as a cluster of enum and variant type to be able to use the Enum to convert the variant correctly according to the Enum value.

  • Why is it so slow FPGA?

Hi, I am fairly new to real-time and FPGA programming.  I read a lot about speed problems, such as some modules slows the rest unless you use their own lines, and using fifo to move data more quickly.

But for now, I'm just a simple reading and a simple LED control.  If you look at my code that I have attached, you will see the readings in a loop and the LED control in its own loop.  I have the LED just turn every 1/2 second. (The counties of ticks are set to mSec, 8 bit)  But when the code is running on my FPGA, the LED flashes only every other 12.5 seconds.  It's basically 25 times slower than expected.

I also have a counter tick sending its value to my code in real time, which also has its own meter of ticks, and both are to get connected.  When I look at the counter of the two side by side tick data, it shows time to counter tick in real-time is perfect, but the fpga tick counter time is way slower.  It ends up being 25 times slower.

Why the FPGA reports that it runs so slow?  It's going slowly? Or is the meter tick does not properly? I understand how it works?  Although there are more slow IO modules causing the fpga to run more slowly, the counters of the tick must still report the right to the exact time?

What is possibly sense as to why I get this behavior?

    Thank you

    JES-

    Hey Jes,

In view of these figures, I think what have seen you, it is correct. Assuming a 40 MHz clock, the calculation is:

    500 Mticks / 40 Mticks/s = 12.5 sec.

The 32-bit parameter does not affect the behavior of timing, he controls just what tick counter height can go without flipping.

  • Timeline zoom

I'm looking to create a website that will feature an interactive component on one of its pages. What I need is a simple horizontal calendar which can be zoomed in to see in small increments of time. Let's say he would otherwise show a timeline spanning 1 month (with 30 daily present side by side). The user of the site must be able to easily zoom in on it, until the week day, hour, etc to see the pieces of information (historical data that is associated with the period of history, which is what is talking about the site).

How this would be difficult to create? I know very little about the design of Web sites and coding, but I'm trying to teach myself. My only guess is that you can use flash (I have a little experience with). I am in the right place to ask this question? If anyone can offer me advice that could be very useful. Thank you!

    Yes.

You have a very long road ahead of you, if you use the Javascript coding customized from scratch with no experience but all power to you if you want to try it.

Take the time to learn it. Plugins take seconds.

    Good luck with your project.

  • Simple simulation Flip Flop. Flashing LED problem

    Hello!

I have a problem on the simulation of a circuit simple flip flop. The output is connected to a LED for the indication of the output. However, the lights just keep blinking which gives me the impression that the output is not stable (which from my analysis, the production should be stable). I'll post a picture and the file multisim for you to see the circuit. Thank you!

I don't have a Multisim, so I can't comment on the issues of simulation directly.

I was about to raise the issue of V/15 V 5.  As well, a typical LED work to 1.6 to 3 V according to color (and thus the composition of semiconductor). Try LEDs by car directly from the output of a 4011 will cause problems (in a physical circuit). The current Ioh source for the 4011 is 8.8 my typical and 3.4 my minimum at 15 V, assuming the Voh = 13.5 V.  A typical LED voltage current could rise to 32 my (~0.5 dissipation W!) until the device goes up in smoke! But with tension that low, the logic of feedback will not work because the output voltages will always be below the other door entries.

The simulation does not reflect accurately the limits of current and voltage outputs.

When I put in place a fast simulation of logic in LabVIEW, I find that there are some unstable States. This logic includes a delay effect, but assume ideal logic levels.

  • Simple collection of the months component (without corresponding calendar?)

I feel that it can be ridiculously easy to answer...

I am looking for a component of the months picking it is simply an extension of something that already exists.

My first instinct was to look at the JXMonthView that is included inside SwingX. Basically, my ideal component would be one that includes only the month part up to the selection page of the JXMonthView component with "traversable' set to true. In other words, a control that allows you to choose a month in the year using a schema of forward/reverse. Unfortunately, I can't find a good way to replace the functionality of the class such that only the top header is included.

I tried to get into the guts of the code, but it was like the best thing to do was to replace the layoutContainer inside BasicMonthViewUI function. Then I realized that this feature is part of a private class. I missed a great way to hide just that little of the Panel? I also considered replacing the functions of the painting, but my fear is that the component request too much space because it's just not 'paint' the month but still allocates space for this.

I think that, perhaps, a self-made simple control may be the best solution? I'm just trying to stay away from possible much custom work I hope to make the control as portable as possible between platforms.

    Thank you!

  • Simple problem with a square wave and a Boolean LED

    Look, this is the case,

Im doing a test for PCBS, it has an emergency switch and a sound signal. the buzzer is connected to the emergency with a microcontroller switch

Case 1: Emergency button is not pressed, vibrator makes no noise (material) and therefore the LED in my program remains off.

Case 2: Emergency switch is pressed, done automatically buzzer sound (in a square waveform: 1 second in high, 1 second bass (x 3)). But if I put this in the program of the LED flashes... because the signal is up and down. What I want is that the LED stays on.

So my question is: is it possible to put a square on a led signal output and leading to keep it. (it should not blink).

and if it's not allot of work can you please show me how do it with a simulation.

  • Holiday calendar question simple unit 4.04

Unit 4.04. Have a configuration of call for our business Office Manager. Their schedule is from Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00. Meanwhile the standard greeting plays and when that time is not in force their closed greeting plays. If I put a holiday in Sept 5 labor day and check the box of holiday observing what greeting will play this day there... It's the closed greeting which will remain in force?

    Thank you!

    Hi Chris,

    It will be greeting closed. Watch this excerpt of a good doc of the unit;

"All managers to call in Cisco Unity work according to a schedule, which is located on the profile page for the call handler. The calendar dictates that closed or standard welcome message is broadcast. The standard greeting is a greeting played during normal office hours. The closed greeting message is played after normal office hours. In Cisco Unity, the system administrator, under the calendar option, there are several default schedules that can be found by using the option to find on the toolbar. Once a program is selected on the table to edit table, if a block is checked, the Standard greeting is played for this block of thirty minutes of time. If a block is not checked, the closed greeting plays.

According to the Cisco Unity documentation, when a holiday framework is in force, Cisco Unity plays closed greetings and observes the closed transfer rules. You can configure several years vacation at a time. You can copy the holiday from one year to the next and set dates according to the needs
