  Please allow me to submit some questions about Oracle Data Guard.

  There are 2 databases 'authorized and ready ':

  -a single instance of the "alfa", Oracle Enterprise Edition 10.2 database,

  -"bravo", Oracle 10.2 Enterprise Edition, Real Application Clusters database

  I have to "align" congratulations to alfa on a daily basis, so that--in case of failure of the main 'alfa' site - recovery is possible change to the site "bravo."

  (1) even if we can afford a loss of data corresponding to the period little uttered at the end of the last daily alignment (no need to 'transactional' alignment between the two databases), I assume that the best approach to meet this need in terms of efficiency and manageability consists on two databases including in a Data Guard configuration.

  You have reason, physical hosting it good thing. For the most part, you will get impact with until or unless data loss because of some problems of network (or a configuration problem)

  Logical standby is a little different from the physical standby mode

  Data features come with Enterprise Edition - perhaps for the active database "cost of the additional license.

• Simple icon, transparent route difficult question

  Hey everybody,
  Need a bit of help here. Ive created this very simple icon:

  

  The plane is a single object, just like the track. The two objects are grouped. There are a total of 9 transparent traces that I see. The landing legs have 8 more than the 1 band in the middle of the track. The problem I have only appears when I reduce the image down to an inch round. (The image is enlarged for better view)

  

  I guess that's the transparent traces that happen, but can't be 100% sure. I am completely baffled because Ive never experienced this with any other compound path and it is a group extremely simple of objects!

  My work around was to export as a png hiring and then place it in illustrator and trace as a sillohette. He solved the problem, but it does not any sense because when he was plotting it's always the same transparent tracks. Right?

  Any input would be most appreciated.

  Check if the objects are defined to match the pixel grid. If so, turn it off.

• Simple Assembly of a noob question

  I am very new to acrobat pro.   I just want to create a simple form.  For my example and tests, I created a form that has 3 lines of text.

  Seems pretty basic.  I then added a field after each word so that a user could fill in these fields.  I then realized that I should have a second address line.  I chose CV edition in the documents menu.  I clicked across the city, you press on enter.  He pushed down a line.  Then I typed in address2 in the new line.

  I then click the editing by changing hand, the line disappears and looks like he did it until I added it.  If I decide to take over the writing of the new, he's back.  How to make the change to record so that when I get out of editing, it will appear so that I can move the fields and create a new one for address2?

  For starters, it is best to create the text portion of your form in something else (such as Word, InDesign, etc) then export it to PDF. Acrobat isn't really intend to create a document from scratch in full.

  After that, you open the PDF in Acrobat and add the form fields. If you have later changes to the form, you can make changes in the original document, export to a new PDF, open the old one and use the replacement pages then feed in the new PDF.

  Who will replace the background text while leaving the form fields intact if you do not have to create them again everywhere.

• Satellite L670D Simple Drive external HARD drive question

  OS Windows 7 Home. Preload by Toshiba.

  Have a Toshiba simpledrive 1 T. When plugged into the USB hardrive are rewritten with shortcuts. Hard drive in Explorer properties shows data from correct volume on the disk, but I don't have access to the drive. Shortcuts anywhere.

  Disk formatted with laptop and work very well, but can not eject. Whenever I want to eject the disc, it is being used by another program. Cannot find the program using Xdrive. Once the X drive is off and then turn it back on shortcuts will be displayed again. Do not have the same problem with Xdrive on my PC - OS Win 7 Pro - works fine.

  I've updated to Toshiba laptop drivers, Bios etc. Also updated Windows still no go. It must be a problem with laptop, but I seem to not be able to solve it.

  Help will be appreciated.

  Hmm, try connecting the HARD drive to the computer before booting the operating system Win.
  Also, check if the software Xdrive isn't blocked by any other security software (antivirus, firewall tool, etc.).
  I also recommend checking the power management of the Win 7 on your laptop. Check if the USP ports are not configured to save energy.

  1. with the single license edition DPS, you can create built-single edition app. If you plan to create several Folio app, then you should go with DPS Professional edition.

  2. it means you get complimentry 5000 downloads in DPS annual Pro and 250 per month in the case of DPS Pro monthly. You can have unlimeted number of folios, and you can update your folio number n times. It only means that you get 5000 or 25o parmois downloads in your POS with DPS Professional edition.

  4 Currenlty with DPS single edition, you cannot create built-single edition app. DPS Professional edition is required to create an application for Android market.

  According to you need, I suggest you go with DPS Professional edition.

  Perhaps the part of the sentence "and * more * come with a developer license" (underlining) leaves some questions that some products may not be covered. I don't know what would these products but I've never seen someone ask the commodity database.

  Regarding editing, you... once again, it's what you want to achieve. If you want to learn sql/plsql from the point of view of the developer, one of them will do. If you want to learn from a DBA perspective, you want to the Enterprise edition.

  Yes, all Microsoft products that you install on your system will have a separate license. For example, Microsoft Windows XP has its own license, which will not work with the Microsoft Office application.

  First question: a dual-core CPU has two processing cores, packaged in a single module.  It counts as a single processor for Windows XP license.

  A customer wants to buy a new ASA for a showroom. He wants to connect 30 phones VPN and 60 VPN users, where only 10 of them are simultaneously connected. Then we would have two choices now

  -Either go with the 3.5 Anyconnect licensing, with a premium SSL 50 license and activation phones VPN and mobility AC licenses

  - Or go to AC 4.0 license, where we would have to license 100 users with MORE licenses.
