  In FrameMaker documents, you can navigate to something that will become a link in a PDF document to its source, with a "hyperclick" on the page entries table of contents and indexes in the generated files and references or hyperlinks not generated documents. A hyperclick is Ctrl + Alt + click. There is no click back. You can lock the FrameMaker documents to make these active links with a single click and use the dos commands and others on the Navigation menu that appears when a locked document is active.

  To lock or unlock a document for the type of hypertext navigation and release these keys in order: F Escape (must be uppercase) l (lowercase ' el' not important 'eye' or number one) k (must be lowercase). I remember as "(F) Island (l) oc (k).»

  Google search for words like 'Lock of FrameMaker for hypertext Documents' and "FrameMaker navigation Menu" without the quotes, for more information on these techniques.

  Also, you can use the dialog box insert reference allows to browse some sort of plan file, by selecting a paragraph format such as a cap, on the left and scroll through these paragraphs on the right.   I am a layman in the thing of the license, we are a publishing company by looking at our digital editing equipment and want to create a custom player.

  Adobe DPS is clearly the best way to go for this, because our content is all created in Adobe inDesign.

  I want to know is what is the extra cost total needed to be able to have our own player which publishes on the desktop and andriod ipad?

  Hello, I am a user of long date first but have never been involved in the installation program. I decided to start making a personal video editing on my gaming computer and met with a few questions.

  The biggest one I have is with the work disk configuration. I read the help doc about 10 times and google all combinations of words I can think, but I'm still not sure how should I configure these for my setup.

  I have the first Pro CS5 installed on my C:, which is a 128 GB SSD

  For storage, I have 4 1 than to disks in Raid 5, yes 2.72 TB of total storage.

  How I want to configure my "scratch disks" for the best possible performance?

  Question 2: It could be linked to the work disk configuration, I'm not sure, but something that I've always wondered. What disk does save my projects to in this configuration? Is how important it? Then, I want to make my final video in this same folder or on another drive?

  Question 3: I a currently GTX 460 graphics card and enjoy benefits of CUDA acceleration. I have looked at adding a second in SLI for games purposes, but have read that the Mercury playback engine is not compatible with SLI. Does this mean that it will still work with a single card and I see no advantage in the first, or all CUDA acceration will cease?

  First of all, SLI is not supported by PrPro, so it will do you no good and may well get in the way.

  You have only two HARD drives, SSD and RAID, so you don't have much choice there.

  Given the configuration of your I/O, I wouldn't worry about the ultimate in performance and just locate your assets, your projects and your Scratch disks on the RAID.

  In a more perfect world, I would say to separate the assets of the project, but it would mean another HARD drive (actually a good supplement, as a configuration 3 x is better than a configuration of 2 x).

  The foregoing has one drawback - household later. I create a new folder for all projects and locate my disks scratch that.   I have an old iPhone 5 that I'm redirecting as music player. I did a thorough cleaning ("erase all content and settings') of the device before you start. I copied the music on it (via iTunes on my MacBook). After a few moments, I noticed that the use of "Documents & data" is now about 900MB, and 'Other' is about 350 MB. What is this, and how do I empty?

  There are no installed applications (other than those which are by default on the phone).   'Other' data the iOS itself, as well as any app data, messages or email.  350 MB is low, so it's mainly the iOS.  The Documents and the data is most likely the work of art album data, and associated playlists etc.

  The configuration of data-guard is a primary and a physical standby server.
  Both servers have 16 GB of RAM. It is set on an ESX Server as two virtual machines.
  Each vm has two processors with a speed 2127,902 MHz
  OS is Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server version 5.5 (Tikanga)
  It's an arch bit x86_64 machine.
  
  The problem we see is that the consumption of RAM is almost 100%. (97%)
  Earlier, the RAM has 4 GB, believed is not enough and went to 16 GB after we found that same 8 GB is not enough.
  Even after setting the RAM 16 GB, entire memory was used.
  The demand for good results, the answers are quick enough.
  On average, there are 12000 inserts per minute in the database.
  
  The CPU usage is about 25%.
  
  
  We are looking to reduce the consumption of memory less than 80% so that if other applications must be run on the Data-Guard allows him to run or use nearly 100% of memory during the peak or abnormal conditions.

  on Linux, high mem use is normal. Linux uses all the memory cache of the drive. You can compile this program to prove.

  I have data-guard for disaster recovery and now my management planning to do more like implement Golden gate. My question is when you can protect your data and offload pressure on primary database by maintaining active data-guard why someone need to go for golden gate??

The database of rescue, if necessary use for reporting purposes, then the backup database must be open in read-only mode, but the recovery (MRP/application log) cannot be done. So, if you want that database waiting to have the application of fact log, then he must place in EDITING mode. If it will be used for the purposes of tax, then it must be placed in open READ ONLY mode and stop the recovery. Guests receive only 1 device at a time here.

  We have an Oracle 10 g Database EE here in our company which is established in a RAC (2 nodes and 1 SAN). Of course, that are already approved.

  OK, here's how my speailist license put, Data Guard as a product is free, but is not the database instance. A physical standby is a database, it must be so licensed, however the expert of the license indicates that licenses you buy for the execution of the physical standby can be ubtained at a substantially reduced rate as they would be called limited licenses. It's not data hold is the cost, it is the cost of an another database on another machine. According to you, current license, you can be covered however, you may not. Everything I say is call a specialist to license Oracle Metalink support, call the guy or gal who has sold you Oracle licenses or appeal and certified Oracle partner/reseller can help you with a specialist of the license and have a licensing discussion/examination before implementation. Oracle support is not those who understand the licenses and how this all works, he did this and like them, always thought that data guard and physical databases Eve were free and included and recently corrected, hard enough I might add.
