Simple matter of FxV - storable he timestamps in the repository of analysis?

Hello

is it possible for a transaction filter or filter hit to store the current timestamp of this approach in a transaction set in the repository of analysis?

THX

"mark".

Hi Mark,

The repository of analysis don't let you store configured data (custom fields) to a DATETIME value.

But you could potentially fill a custom with a time stamp using a Groovy script field. This custom field can then be stored in the repository of analysis as a TEXT or a DOUBLE. When you retrieve this value out of the repository of analysis, you could then convert it into a timestamp.

Kind regards

  • Why my sample rate does not match the output of timestamps in the waveform?

    Hello

    I run a simple application to read the data of two pressure sensors output signals 0 - 5V to a NI9215 module, and one connected to the 9237 module load cell. They are housed in the 9172 chassis.

    I am new to DAQ and labview, and I find it difficult to reconcile the sampling frequency that I put in the sample clock and the apparent rate data (according to the timestamps in the waveform that I output to a text file). For example, if I ask 100 Hz rate (and 10 samples to read), the data appear to sample at 1612,9 Hz. If I ask the sampling frequency of 1000 Hz, outgoing data is 1612,9 Hz to 20 kHz, the data came out to 25 kHz.

    Can someone tell me to trust the timestamps given in the waveform that is written in the text file, and if there is a way to check this?  If this timestamp is correct, how can I force the application of sample data at the requested speed?

    As a secondary issue, in my attached VI, you can see that I have an attached to an array of construction shift register. I can't understand how to initialize the array outside of the loop as it clears the table before the next time I run the program. Any advice?

    My VI is attached.

    Thank you

    Hi Marc, thanks for the quick response and the right explanation. It's all much more clear now.

    Have a great weekend,

  • Precise timestamp on the graph of the band with scrolling

    I have a user interface with a set of synchronized graphics that operate in mode scrolling stripchart.  The elevator of the x-axis is visible on one of the cards, and the operator has the ability to take a break from the update of this table (essentially locking the entrance to the chart) and scrolling in a bit of history.  The width of the graph is about one minute of data, the number of points has been set to allow about an hour to scroll of history.  Other maps which are synchronized with the main chart have the x-axis property nodes attached, so that they follow the scrolling of the main graphic.

    Everything works fine with the current configuration, except for one small detail: the timestamps.  I put date and time stamping visible on the x-axis of the main graphic, so that operators know exactly when any aberration in the data actually took place.  I have seen a few entries in how add real timestamp, but none of them seemed to work properly.  They work very well on a standard sight, but fail miserably once the scrolling action is activated, so I have to do something wrong.

    Any suggestions on the best way to get this accomplished timestamp?  It's absolutely crazy to me how much pain is to put a timestamp to the real real world in a graphic...  As someone who constantly defends LabVIEW against colleagues who claim that it is "too difficult" to use it, it's kind of embarrassing when a thing so simple becomes so complicated in LabVIEW!

    The short answer is that this is impossible with a graphic if you add the requirement to be able to take a break. The reason is simple - a chart stores data on its own, but it saves all the values of X - you give only values Y and for the X values he simply uses the index of the value and the most you can do is set a t0 and delta t for the X scale. This works normally, but does not work when you stop feeding data to the chart, because the value of X is not stored. I heard someone say once a waveform graph does not allow this, but I've never looked into it and I'm not sure that's true.

    What you can do is use a graphic instead of a chart - in a graph, you provide values X and Y for each point, so you can have absolute time for the x-axis values. The key point is that, to a chart, you must provide all the data to draw, you must maintain a circular buffer of the data yourself. You can do this by using a queue with loss, when you preview the queue to get the data, but there are also some examples online, as well as in the finder of the example, if you search for 'XY Chart'.

  • Cannot read the timestamp of the file LVM in table or export to Excel

    Good afternoon!

    Im having issues return timestamps from a LVM file and an excel file.

    Ulitmately, I have a series of files LVM with 6 channels of data and timestamps of correspodning.

    When I read the back files in a table, the channel values are analyzed, but the timestamp is no where. The channel data then exported successfully to an excel sheet (less the time stamps).

    How can I extract the timestamps with the channel data and bring them into an excel sheet?

    NOTE: I do not know you can open the file LVM directly in excel, however, information is not "analysable.

    I appreciate the toughts. I have attached my experimental code as well as the data set, I am trying to extract. I have also included a spreadsheet excel destination.

    Hi, ASAT,.

    Is there a reason that you do not simply write it as File.vi to write your signal data in the excel worksheet? It is an easy way to put in your signal data to an excel spreadsheet (see file attachment). You can also view the code in this Express VI to see how this is achieved.

    I myself have sought a solution to this problem and have not found one solution viable, other than having to click Date & time whenever you want to place a stamp in your notes.

    Hope this helps

  • How to turn Pix timestamp of the log messages in the buffer

    How can I activate the timestamp of the log 'stamped' PIX messages? I activated the "record timestamp" command that generates timestamps for 'syslogd' messages but my messages saved in the buffer do not have a timestamp on them.

    I'm running ver 6.2 (2) 'warnings of logging in buffered memory ".

    Rgds tony

    Unfortunately you don't have. As you have seen, the "horodateurs log" command the timestamps on the syslog messages, but still put on the console messages.

    There is a bug already open about it, CSCdu18237. No word on when it will be resolved, however.

  • MP3 player via the USB port (no matter which), it keeps coming back as the "Drive is not accessible. Access is denied. "

    Hello

    So, here are the problems I encounter, and what I did to try to fix myself.
    Whenever I try to connect my MP3 player via the USB port (no matter which), it keeps coming back as the "Drive is not accessible. Access is denied. "  This same thing happens everytime I try to put an SD card in the SD card slot.  However, despite this, I can plug my USB mouse and use it, as well as the keyboard and it records only.  I can also use the HDMI port to use my TV as a second monitor and, also, to record that.
    What I did to solve the problem, it is to restore the system to the previous times before that happened, did not.  I also went into the Device Manager and uninstalled and re installed, USB and SD card drivers.  I also tried something in the sense of taking control of the files via a right click on a folder and go to properties and then security and to the 'advanced settings', the problem with this situation is that I can't in readers at all.
    I am currently running Windows 7 (64 bit) on a laptop Lenovo, the computer itself is actually only a few months.  If someone knows something about this, please let me know.  Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    1. What is the number of brands and models of MP3 player?

    2 are logged in as an administrator on the computer?

    3. are you able to use this device on another computer (not Windows XP)? The MP3 player or SD card already worked on this computer?

    4. Once you get this error message? Do you get this error when accessing the mp3 player and SD card on Windows Explorer?

  • Is there a way to disable the timestamp in the file history?

    Hello.

    Is there a way to disable the timestamp in the file history?

    Original title: file history

    No, you can't turn the timestamp in the file history.  That's how the backup system knows what backups are latest to avoid corruption and file damage.  It is also an inherent requirement of the NTFS file system, which require that all the files have the underlying timestamps.

  • See the full timestamp in the column of table read-only to ADF

    JDeveloper 12.1.2

    My VO is SQL based (no OA) and selects just the DB table 3 attributes. One is the DATE.

    By default the attribute date in original Version is created in the form of stamp. Then I dropped this table on a jsf page.

    My purpose is to display full timestamp, date not only piece.

    So, I went back to the original Version and changed the UI tips for the attribute. Now, it looks like this:

    < ViewAttribute

    Name = "InterviewDateTime".

    IsUpdateable = "false".

    IsPersistent = "false".

    PrecisionRule = 'true '.

    Type = "Java.Sql.Timestamp"

    ColumnType = "DATE".

    AliasName = 'INTERVIEW_DATE_TIME. '

    Expression = "INTERVIEW_DATE_TIME."

    SQLType = 'DATE' >

    Properties of <>

    < SchemaBasedProperties >

    < FMT_FORMAT

    ResId="reports.dataaccess.mfrp2.mfrp2Rep3.InterviewDateTime_FMT_FORMAT"/ >

    < FMT_FORMATTER

    ResId="reports.dataaccess.mfrp2.mfrp2Rep3.InterviewDateTime_FMT_FORMATTER"/ >

    < / SchemaBasedProperties >

    < / properties >

    < / ViewAttribute >

    In JSF page the code is like this:

    < af:column sortProperty = "#{bindings.mfrp2Rep3.hints.InterviewDateTime.name}" sortable = 'true' "

    headerText = 'Interview Date Time' id = 'c3' >

    < af:outputText value = "#{rank." InterviewDateTime}.

    shortDesc = "#{bindings.mfrp2Rep3.hints.InterviewDateTime.tooltip}" id = "ot3" > "

    < af:convertDateTime pattern="#{bindings.mfrp2Rep3.hints.InterviewDateTime.format}"/ >

    < / af:outputText >

    < / af:column >

    However, I still don't see much of the time? Any ideas?

    Change SQLType = 'DATE' to SQLType = "TIMESTAMP" in the definition of the attribute XML and set a mask of the appropriate format in the indication of the format of the attribute of the VO.

  • Add in the name of the remote file timestamp in the output tab

    Hello

    Is it possible to add a timestamp to the name of the remote file in the Destination of the tab part out?

    For example if I have a FTP server like the movements, can I have a filename like dailyReport20130227.pdf, where the date part is generated dynamically to each race?

    Thanks and greetings
    JB

    For everyone's reference, it is possible using the underside of delimiters.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E15586_01/bi.1111/e18861/T539768T541118.htm

    Description of the expression
    %y displays four-digit year: example: 2011
    %m displays the month in two digits: 01-12 (where there is 01 = January)
    %d contains the two-digit date: 01-31
    Hour displays the time on two figures based on a day of 24 hours: 00-24
    %M shows double-digit minutes: 00-59
    %S displays the number of two-digit seconds: 00-59
    % of screens in three-digit milliseconds: 000-999

    In this case, we just need to set up the file name as "+ dailyReport%y%m%d.pdf+".

  • Adding timestamp to the dumpfile. Why do we need this space?

    11.2.0.3/RHEL 5.4

    When you run expdp on Linux, I tried to add the timestamp for the dumpfile and the following syntax worked.
    DUMPFILE= PCFS_SIT-`date '+%d-%b-%Y'`_%u.dmp
    There should be a space after the keyword date. Without the space, you will get the following error
    $ -ksh: date+%d-%b-%Y: not found [No such file or directory]
    Why is this?

    Hello
    When you type

    Date + %d - %b - %Y

    ksh (or depending on the shell you are using) looking for a file called date and then accepts various parameters to format this date

    When you type

    Date + %d - %b - %Y

    ksh search a file called date + %d - %b - %Y

    that does not exist - and throws the error.
