  I tried using Adobe CS3, technical support, telephone support, this forum, other forums, Mozilla, and nowhere can I get a straight answer, so I'll try one last time before giving up on Adobe products.
  
  I have CS3 Web Premium. The entire suite is on the iMac and MacBook Pro. I need to update a Dreamweaver site on a trip with a MacBook Air.
  
  Please help me understand this.
  
  Contribute apparently has the ability to put a plug-in in Firefox, then you can update the remote sites. It is not clear from all sources above if the module of the suite of Contribute must be on my MB Air, or if I can just get Firefox for the MB Air card and put in place the web site for the distance of publishing using Contribute on the iMac.
  
  It would be the simplest: use Ct on the iMac to some portions of the site for editing by using Firefox from the MB air. It seems simple enough for me but no one or no info I can find can confirm or deny that this is how it would work.
  
  Please, if anyone knows if this is how the thing works, save my sanity and convince me to stay with Adobe products to let me know if I'm right and how to get the Firefox plug in.

  I'm a little confused how this is a good solution, if you need to have on your mobile machine Ct, you would also be more or less must have Dw there (if you use the Web Premium package), then why would you also need of a plugin Firefox?

  I have this huge and capable package on iMac and laptop family but I am not allowed to use one of his abilities, even the smallest, or a plug-in compatible with, a third machine. So far from home, I have to either spend a lot more money on another piece of software for the few times of the year I travel, or return to raw html in a basic text editor and an ftp program. All I want to do is change one page per day with some new features.

  Hello.  I'm sure this is a stupid question, but after reading tons of text I can't seem to get the answer that I wanted (or I'm simply not understand something correctly).  I have a virtual machine at work that we currently copy for 6 portable hard drives (all the 'raw' files, no packaging).  Each HD has exactly the same thing.  We do this, as if someone in our society needs to run a demo, the right tools are in the virtual machine, so they just plug their PC, launch VMWare Player and open the virtual machine.  We have 6 HDs because most of the time, half of them are away or with someone, so I need spare parts as much as possible.  This method works for the most part, as long as people know what that make them, but I expected a little better solution, such as the packaging of the virtual machine through ACE.  The problem is that I have only 1 client license.  I'll be able to use my 1 license to condition my VM 1 and copy it to 6 HDs so that those who need can use it?  Or do I have to have 6 licenses for each of the laptop HDs, as well as more licenses for each PC the ACE can be played on?  Thank you for your help.

• Broad question who are looking for a simple answer.

  I am a designer for a wholesaler and I need to track costs of all our prints by provider. I am wanting to create a Web site with interactive forms able to export data to an excel form. Basically, the process works like this:

  1. the seller receives the request from a client.

  2. the seller fills out the design request form and submits to the designer.

  3 designer full order.

  4 the design cost is entered in excel form with five fields sortable (Date, vendor, customer, supplier, brand)

  5 accounting invoice for the cost of production design.

  We use a subscription service primitive right now on the web but is very clumsy and uses old technology and I'm basically at the mercy of their technical support if I have problems.

  We do more than 1,000 drawings per month, is why this system is necessary in tracking our costs as opposed to this follow-up on a basis of by design.

  I know that this question seems misplaced, but bare with me...

  Is it possible to design a website in Flash that has interactive forms with the ability to shoot the data forms excel for menus (customer, supplier of lists), rudimentary costs drop-down and eventually to export this info into an excel workbook? Is it possible to do it with a module offline that can sync when an internet connection is available?

  I don't have instructions on how to do it, only if it is the correct path to spread downwards.

  Flash cannot read xls files.  but excel can export comma-delimited files and flash can read and analyze those.

  Flash cannot save data in any format on its own, but with the script server side (like php), you can save data to the server.

  It could be as simple as making this page a movieclip which slides up when you click the entry/Menu option.  There could be a mask that keeps the image from appearing to go out of the scene.

• Firefox is already running but is not responding? Simple answers don't seem to work

  I started Firefox earlier today and received a message about a problem with Firefox and he had to be reset. Because the other option seemed worse than the reset, and Firefox Reseting seemed relatively painless, I clicked OK. A short message popped up on the registration of passwords, bookmarks, etc. with success. Then a small window pops up, saying it was cleaning of Firefox. While the process seemed to freeze. I liquidated it, killed at any process of firefox running and attempted to restart Firefox, when I received the message "Firefox is already running, but does not." There is a folder on my desktop labeled 'old Firefox data' which I assume is from Firefox reset (it is also now a copy of the profile on my desk, just in case).

  I found this and tried to work through it, but it doesn't seem to help.

  (1) Ther' are no Firefox.exe in my task manager, nor is there a process plugin-container.

  (2) I deleted the file "parent.lock" in both the profile (which is just a bunch of jumbled letters and numbers with 'default' in it) and the record of the old Firefox. However, these files were just "parent.lock" not "parent.lock.parentlock".

  (3) did not change the name on it, so unless the reset did before she locked herself, I don't know what to change it to.

  (4) it is not a file share, so...

  (5) this could be a possibility. The folder of Firefox that my profile is 'Read only' is, but I can't not to change cela. Everytime I go in, turn off the 'Read only' option and tell him to propagate the change through subfolders, it seems to work, but when I check the properties 10 seconds later, 'Read Only' is checked again.

  You can have security software that preventing to change the Firefox file.

  You use the Profile Manager to restore an existing profile or create a new profile.

  A "Reset" creates a new default profile with a timestamp attached and is trying to import some settings of the old profile, leaving the old profile intact, including the (invalid) cache folder (topic: cache) can take up to 1 GB.

  Versions of Firefox 15 + will move the old profile folder "old Firefox Data-#" folder on the desktop that gets a figure if you use reset several times, so you can no longer use the Profile Manager to return to the old profile.

  First of all, please note that the word "malware" is short "Malicious software." it means software that does bad things. The term includes viruses, spyware, Trojans, worms and rootkits. etc.

  Here are my recommendations: for an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you are willing to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus software, I recommend one (do not run more than one) of the following three:

  Avira AntiVir
  Avast
  Microsoft Security Essentials
   
  You also need anti-spyware software (even if you run a program like Microsoft Security Essentials, with anti-spyware feature integrated into it). I recommend that you download and install MalwareBytes AntiMalware (freeware)
