  Yes, it should be safe to reset and turn the unit off. Just make sure that you upgrade the firmware again after resetting it.

  Normally the lighting on Toshiba laptop to install the package of added value. It s is only not for this model, so I put t know if it will work. You should try to download from another model of laptop that is Windows 7 supported.

  Go to the control panel; Device Manager; Click on USB wireless 802. 11 b/g adapter. Click on the tab advanced; the value Carrier Detect, Radio on / off and values Smart Scan to 'Activate' (which disables these features).  Set the appropriate values on "Disable" to help as needed.

  I can just confirm that. Unfortunately there is no option to do this. I assume that only LED power disconnection of the cable can help. Maybe service will do it for you. You can offer to pay for a cup of coffee. ;)

  You can't turn them off. If you really want that you would have to reprogram the BIOS. And to do this, you must be a Toshiba engineer and a lot of experience with the low level hardware programming.

  You can also stick the tape on the lights. :)

  AFAIK there is no switch or something similar. I presume that the only solution is to cut the cable.

  I read several topics in the forum on the P100 Harman/Kardon speakers Blue LEDs/lights. None expressed a definitive answer on how to turn off the LEDs.

  I was wondering if a new update on this issue has occurred. The last post of forum about this was in February. Is it possible to turn off those annoying lights in newer models of Satellite? I would disconnect the wires so its an easy task.
