  If you are not able to open the Photos App images directly in Photoshop then, this is the expected behavior as App Photos does not allow for any third-party application interact with it directly.

  You must export images from the Photos App and then open in Photoshop.

  Hi, tried different steps as recommended on the web/FAQ site etc, but nothing. All my settings (such as log ins, saved passwords, etc.) also disappeared. However, I could recover my favorites, by pure luck I think.

  During the process, I noticed that the bookmarks were stored in what is called a JSON file. (The single file appears to be saved was the empty one created by the newly installed 8 Firefox, which was unnecessary). So I did a search for a JSON file on my computer and found the files in

  C:\Users\Laurie\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start demarrer\programmes\accessoires\outils Tools\Profiles\izyq35gr.default\bookmarkbackups and managed to reload!

  But the files have been saved in any normal place and install Firefox 8 caused a lot of problems, lost data and time.

  El Capitan is a bit fussy about safety. Try

  Finder > go > connect to server...

  and enter the address of the server explicitly in the dialog box that appears.
