Since the update of audio driver, no audio output

When I play a video through the VLC browser I hear no audio. Reconizes the sound device, but somewhere, it won't. I noticed today that some audio drivers updated automatically so maybe that is the problem? I'm stuck, and hoping you can help out me. Thanks in advance.

Hello

Looking at the update that started this issue, it was for the AMD HD audio component that is necessary for audio through HDMI connection and it may cause the current problem.

The best option would be to run the system restore Windows, up to a point before the update Audio AMD has been applied - you can do the following.

Open windows control panel and click on System.

In the left pane, select the protection system , and then click System Restore .

When it launches, click on the next button and you should be presented with a list of available restore points.

Select the nearest restore point before updating Audio AMD who caused this problem has been applied, and then click the next button.

In the next window, click Finish to start the restore.

The process can take 10 to 20 minutes and once completed, the laptop will restart and load into Windows.

If you now audio windows, open Control Panel, open Windows Update and click "Check for Updates" in the left pane.

If you see the update of the AMD driver offered once again, right-click on it and select "Hide update".

Best regards
