"Single source to multiple targets in the Oracle XSLT Mapper"?
Can someone provide examples for the single source to multiple targets in Oracle XSLT Mapper scenario
You can have several sources, but target the single node in an XSLT mapping.

How to migrate data from a source to multiple targets (tables)?
How to migrate data from a source to multiple targets (tables)? Describe the General steps, please or point me to a tutorial
Yes, a table in a mapping element can be source and target at the same time (i.e. a target can be reused as a source for the rest of the map on the right side of the table).
Don't forget to check the order of loading (in the property map), to ensure that the reused as source is loaded before the final table target table.
I tested it and it works. However, the documentation is not said in the link I gave you above:
"Each element of data store that has entries but no exits in the logical diagram is considered a target."
Usually, I tend not to do. I am in favour of a Divide and Conquer approach and try to have my mapping as simple as possible. It is easier to debug and maintain.

Using a single server for Multiple Instances of the APEX HTTP
Our company DBA asked if it would be possible to outsource the server part of HTTP of APEX from DB servers. In other words, it would be highly preferable as DB servers * only * start the Oracle database software.
We know that we can install the HTTP server on another box, but in thinking how to that, we were wondering if it's really necessary to create a separate HTTP Server installation for each instance of the APEX. What we would really like to do, is have a HTTP server for all our our boxes of Dev and several (but not one) for each of our superior environments; implementation stage, qa, prod, etc..
Right now, each instance has a file single dads.conf on every box of DB. So, if we we to try to consolidate, we need some way to incorporate several dads files and associate each correct instance.
Someone has already done this or (preferably) to have some examples?
Thank you
-Joe
The second page on the link provided José begins immediately with the "Configuration of several databases".
Yes, you can consolidate permanently. It is a common practice that was also available with Apache/mod_plsql, OSH and now with APEX earphone 2.
Thank you

How to distribute the record value of single source on several target of FDM Records
Hello
Has tried to set the record of several members of the target source. I was thinking of using groups of logic?
or is there another simple method using Scripts.
Thanks in advance!
PM
I would recommend to create additional folders in the temporary table (strWorkTable), so they are then moved to the main table (tdatasegx)
It's just a matter of implementation of the same script that runs the SQL process to generate the additional records you need.
Take a look at ImportAction and its sous-evenements. You can find the details in the guide to the API.
See you soon

Can a single button cause multiple targets, based on the value of the point?
I have a button on a form and based on the value of an element, when clicked, pages must be accessible. Is this possible to do? If so, any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Request Express 3.1.2.00.02It's pretty simple to do using conditional branches. Create a branch to the place of the appropriate branch (for example on submit: after treatment...) for each target page and series PL/SQL Expression condition for each branch:
:request = '
' and : = its replacement by < button_name >, < nom_element > and < item_value > with the values appropriate to your application (and change the '=' in the expression of the agenda if some other condition is used). The integrated attribute REQUEST contains the name of the button that submits the page.

Mapping of several columns in the source in 1 target with the source Excel file
Hello
I use to load Excel files in HFM FDM 11.1.2.1.
In Excel, I had 3 columns that need to be mapped in 1 column target using a few rules and mappings. Forest to source file should work in all cases.
For example,.
Source:
A, B AND C
1 company 1 xxx
2 yyy Company2
1 Company3 zzz
mapping for B:
Company 1 C1
C3 Company3
mapping for C:
C2 Company2
target after confirming:
C1
C2
C3
I take data from B or C according to data in A (1 or 2).
I found several ways to do so, but they are not perfect:
1 map columns B and C to the correct value (#C1, C2) and use scripting conditional on a column (for value correctly mapped either column B or C).
The problem here is that I can not break through the low PIF when B and C are mapped to values other than [none]. Can this been bypassed?
2 use DataPump import Scripts for concatenating the sources in one column only and use the tables mapping standart on 1 column.
The problem is that DataPump import Scripts do not work with the source files Excel. Is this correct? I could find a word in the documentation...
3. map columns B and C [None] script well but fat on the column, as:
If (varValues (13) = '1' and varValues (39) = "Company1")) then
Result = "C1".
ElseIf...
Which is horrible, and it would be very difficult to add new mappings in the script. But it works.
4. logical accounts. I can't use it I need to drill down.
Could you recommend me some better way to do this simple task to work? It's a bit that I coded something like that in VBA, so you will need to do a bit of cleanup; However, it should get you well in a way that might work...
Why not add a formula in the excel file, once it is downloaded? (I guess the excel file that is being loaded is not something that you could develop a formula to start?)
on error resume next 'make sure all commands are executed. If something happens in code and file is open, we don't want to leave it open... Set objExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application") Set objWorkbook = objExcel.Workbooks.Open("
") Set objworkSheet = objWorkbook.Sheets(" ") 'OR you could use ordinal objExcel.Application.DisplayAlerts = False objExcel.Application.Visible = false for x = 1 to 100 'I'm just doing a loop for the sake of doing a loop. You might want to loop through rows and for each row that has a 'value in col A, make the formula and then break out of loop so you don't add a metric ton of unnecessary formulas objworksheet.Cells(x, "C").Formula = "=A" & x & " + B" & x 'i.e. =A1+B1 next 'Save the changes objWorkbook.Save 'Close the workbook objWorkbook.Close 'Quit application (important) objworksheet = nothing objworkbook = nothing objExcel.Application.Quit objexcel = nothing NOTE: Microsoft DOES NOT officially support office (i.e. what we do above and what of FDM backstage I guess) seems to work very well, but in most cases, etc.. Be careful about cleaning to ensure that all memory is released and that the instance of excel stops.

Single source for multiple versions
When compiling for multiple versions, I find myself writing code like this
#ifdef CURRENT_VERSION_CS5 #define EVENT Method #define HANDLEEVENT HandleMethod #else #define EVENT Event #define HANDLEEVENT HandleEvent #endif

It is based in the sdk sets to the current version?

What do I need install Oracle Database 11 g 2 for the Oracle 10 g database migration?
Hi all
Would you be kind enough to help me with the following question! I currently have Oracle Database 10 g on the old servers to my work and I want to install the GR 11, 2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Oracle database to new servers for upgrade. I also forms, reports and Designer 10 g to maintain our existing applications. So, I already looked in the Certification and found the following:
Latest version of the product: latest version of the database server window weblogic
Form Builder 11.1.2.0.0 11.2.0.4.0 7, 2008 R2, 2008 10.3.6.0.0
Reports 11.1.2.0.0 11.2.0.4.0 7, 2008 R2, 2008 10.3.6.0.0
Designer 10.1.2.6.0 11.2.0.1.0 xp, vista, 7, 2003 (all 32 bit)
For Designer, it is approved for a 32 - bit window, so I'm having trouble with the new requirement of system this window must be after 2003. I want to take all of the availability and follow the Oracle certification (except that I will be given Designer because of compliance) as above. I'm new with Oracle, and I don't know what comes with what to do it is complete.
1. I'm going to install a database server (free 11.2.0.4.0 as described above) in a new server (2008 R2), then what I have to install the WebLogic Server with it?
2. I'll install the generator of reports and Forms Builder (11.1.2.0.0) in another server (2008R2), so what I have to install WebLogic Server as well with her?
3. what else do I need to install on this two server so that they work so that I can begin to migrate all existing data, forms and States more?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Remember that this forum is targeted to the Oracle Forms product, for questions about the database can be better answered in one of the areas of database. That being said, here are my comments:
1 I'll install a database server (version 11.2.0.4.0 as described above) in a new server (2008 R2), then what I have to install the WebLogic Server with it?
A database facility didn't need of WLS (which I am aware). Consider what you want is a typical design at three levels. Database - average level (applications server) - Client (tools and end user). Each level has nothing to do with the other installation point of view assuming that they are not installed on the same computer. WLS is a middleware software (medium level). Be sure to check the product documentation before performing any installation. The 11.2 DB docs can be found here:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/index.htm
2. I will install Forms Builder and Report Builder (11.1.2.0.0) in another server (2008R2), so what I have to install WebLogic Server as well with it?
Tools (Forms Builder, generator of reports, etc.) are not remote or web tools. These must be installed on each developer's computer. The installation of these tools does not require that WLS be installed first (on the developer's computer), but there is no need to be run unless the developer wants to apply locally for testing. For a production deployment (multi-user), a similar concept will be used. WLS will be installed first, followed by the forms and reports Services (runtime). It will be on your remote server (medium level). Software distribution you use will be exactly the same for the developer and the installation of intermediate level. The difference will be in the options you choose during installation. If you want to include manufacturers during installation, simply check the appropriate boxes when you are prompted.
Also, if you plan to use the forms/States 11 GR 2, I recommend not using 11.1.2.0 and instead use 11.1.2.2, which is the latest version. F/R 11.1.2.2 installation requires that you first install WLS 10.3.6. You should refer to the product documentation before beginning any installation. Specifically, carefully examine the product Setup Guide and Guide to the system requirements. The 11.1.2.2 doc library can be found here:
3 what else do I need to install on this two server so that they work so that I can begin to migrate all the existing data, forms and States on?
Looks like you've covered everything. The granular details will be covered in the Installation and Guides to the system requirements.
My recommendations:
o ensure that each machine has at least 4gig of RAM
o ensure that each machine has a static IP address before you start any part of the installation. This can be done without a static IP address, but you must take additional steps (see Guide to Sys Req).
o on machines where you plan to install WLS, make sure you have a 64 bit JDK installed first. If you don't use a F/R 11.1.2.2, you must use Java 6. However, if you decide to use 11.1.2.2, you can use Java 6 or 7. Do not use Java 8 in all cases.
When it comes to the designer, it must be installed on an old machine. In General, I do not recommend to use it longer. Although there is currently not a way to full migration out of it, you can use SQL Developer to manage the db objects that were created/used with it. There are several MyOracleSupport documents that discuss the issue. You can search the Knowledge Base of MOS to find or contact Support for more information.

CSS for a single source project based on XML files
I use the 3.5 TCS (10 FrameMaker and RoboHelp 9) to create manuals of single source and HTML help. The source files are a book of FrameMaker structured XML files. What is the secret in RoboHelp 9 to set and use a single CSS file for the entire project?
Currently, the HTML files that RoboHelp product only contain paragraph fethi < paraname > tabs, which do not seem to relate to one of the tags in the files RHStyleMapping.css or default .css.
Thank you very much
Jesus-
Hi Jesus,
HR, go to file > Project Settings > import > FrameMaker settings > edit
Your main CSS is likely to be RHStyleMapping.css, but you will definitely secondary CSS applied to take into account the elements not mapped. The unmapped entries are those with the prefix fethi. If you see fethi, you should consider mapping for something directly in your css to take control of the formatting.
See integration http://framemaker.mattrsullivan.com/2011/04/02/an-overview-of-framemaker-and-robohelp-inte / for more details. This post is about unstruct FM, but is always valid for you.

Getting error while inserting data from source to the target in the procedures?
Hello
I want to insert the data from the source to the target in the procedures, have the same schema.
For this, I did as follows
Command on the source:
Technologies: oracle
Schema: EDWHCMB
Command:
SELECT COMPANY_NAME, COMPANY_CODE OF
EDWHCMB. DWT_COMAPNY
Command on the target:
Technologies: oracle
Schema: EDWHCMB
command:
INSERT INTO EDWHCMB. TEMP
VALUES)
COMPANY_CODE,
COMPANY_NAME)
I have run the procudere then I got error as follows
ODI-1228: SAMPLE1 (procedure) task fails on ORACLE EDWH connection target.
Caused by: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-00984: column not allowed here.
How to insert the data from the source to the target in the proceedings?
Please send any document to this...
Please help me.
Thanks in advance,
A.Kavya.
Hi Bruno.
If your tables are on the same schema then why do you use command on the source and the command on the target? You can simply do the following on the command on the target
INSERT INTO EDWHCMB. TEMP
SELECT COMPANY_NAME, COMPANY_CODE OF
EDWHCMB. DWT_COMAPNY
If you really want at all to use the command on the source and target both then I think you need to change the following code on your order on the target
INSERT INTO EDWHCMB. TEMP
VALUES)
: COMPANY_CODE,.
(: COMPANY_NAME)
Hope your TEMP table has only these 2 columns.
Thank you
Ajay

Procedure of ODI with slow performance (SOURCE and TARGET are different Oracle databases)
Hi experts,
I have an ODI procedure but its market with slow performance (SOURCE and TARGET are different Oracle databases), you can see below.
My question is:
It is possible write Oracle BULK COLLECT at the 'command on the target' (below)? or
There is a KM of ODI that perform this task below in a quick way? If so, what KM can you guys suggest me?
I found 'Oracle Append (DBLINK) control' but I try to avoid creating the dblink database.
===============================================================================
* COMMAND ON the SOURCE (* technology: ORACLE * logic diagram: ORACLE_DB_SOURCE):
SELECT NUM_AGENCIA, NUM_CPF_CNPJ, NOM_PESSOA
< % = OdiRef.getSchemaName ("D") % >. < % = odiRef.getOption ("P_TABELA") % >
===============================================================================
*ON the COMMAND TARGET (* technology: ORACLE * logic diagram: ORACLE_DB_TARGET):
BEGIN
INSERT INTO DISTSOB_OWNER. DISTSOB_PESSOA (NOM_PESSOA, NUM_CPF_CNPJ, FLG_ATIVO)
VALUES ('#NOM_PESSOA', '#NUM_CPF_CNPJ', THE FROM ');
EXCEPTION WHEN DUP_VAL_ON_INDEX THEN
NULL;
END;
===============================================================================
Thank you guys!
Please use SQL for SQL command Append KM... You can delete the unnecessary steps in the KM.E.g. fi you won't create I$ table, control flow etc, then you can remove related steps.
Please try with that.

SSRS for lack of outer join with the Oracle data source
It seems to be a problem with the Oracle driver used in the Reporting SERVICES query designer.
When you use an Oracle data source, if I create an outer join in the graphic designer, it automatically inserts '{OJ' before the join and '} ' after her. This is an incorrect syntax for Oracle and refuses to start. The curly braces and the JO editable in designer text, but if I go back to the graphic designer and immediately to reintegrate them.
Only, this has started to happen a year or two ago - before that it worked, but with the old (+) syntax.
Can it not be healed? It makes things very difficult.
-Geoff

Dblink Oracle to sql server, multiple database on the same server sql under a dblink
Hi, we managed to set up an Oracle dblink to sql server and retrieve data.
The user of sql server have been using via dblink has access to multiple databases on the same sql server
But the question is how in oracle (if possible) prepend you the SQL access to this?
For example:
Sqlserver_prod has the user sqlserver_user which seems to be set up as default database sqlserver_db1
But we have select access to sqlserver_db2
all work well as sqlserver_user
Select * from table_fromdb1
Select * from dbo.table_fromdb1
Select * from sqlserver_db1.dbo.table_fromdb1
as does
Select * from sqlserver_db2.dbo.table_fromdb2
more in Oracle
Oracle_db a dblink sqlserver_prod. World connection sqlserver_user
everything works fine
Select * from 'table_fromdb1"@sqlserver_prod '.
Select * from 'dbo '. "table_fromdb1"@sqlserver_prod
But how to (if possible) access from oracle
sqlserver_db2.dbo.table_fromdb2
without having to create a new sqlserver_db2_user referenced in a new dblink
If oracle for oracle would be
Select * from remote_oracle_schema.table@remote_oracle_db
Hello
You cannot select a table in a different SQL * database server from that to which the gateway instance connects.
As stated in the documentation-Oracle® database gateway
Installation and Configuration Guide
11g Release 2 (11.2) for AIX 5 L Based Systems (64-bit), HP - UX
Itanium, Solaris (SPARC 64-Bit), Linux x 86 operating system,
and Linux x 86-64
In the section.
The example SQL Server multiple databases: Configuration of the modem router
A separate instance of the gateway that is required for each SQL Server database. Each
instance needs its own Gateway system ID (SID).
==========
You will need to create a new instance of the gateway for the SQL * Server DB2 as well as a link separate db.
Kind regards
Mike
