Siri does not (problems with the connection)

I installed macOS Sierra yesterday. Everything seems to work fine, except Siri. With Siri I always get an error message "I am having some problems with the connection. Please try again in a moment. ». But this seems to appear every time. The network connection works fine, I can't access the Internet without problem.

No idea how solve the problem?

I use an iMac (27 inch, mid-2011). Internal microphone is connected, I also see the 'waves' change while I am speaking.

It seems that Siri is reluctant to make his debut on your iMac after upgrade to Mac OS Sierra. I want to make sure that you get the benefit of this new feature on a Mac.

1 try safe mode if your Mac does not start -even if your iMac to market, safe mode makes sure it starts successfully.

2. How to test a question in an another user account on your Mac - since this is most likely a software problem, test to another user will indicate if it is right to your user account or throughout your system.

3. use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac - if it seems to be systemic, the next step should not cause problems. But it is always better "to have" a backup to the "need".

4. on OS X Recovery - the issue as part of the operating system, reinstall should do.

    Today, I wanted to use Skype with a headset for the first time and I noticed that when the headphones are connected, the internal microphone does not work.
    When I connect headphones that have the microphone, it works, but I want to use headphones that do not have microphone.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite C55. I've seen other forums posted on this topic, but none of the solutions seem to work for me. I tried to uninstall the drivers and restart the computer, and configure the microphone when the headphones are connected.

    My microphone (installed on the laptop) works completely fine... until I have plug in my headphones. He stops working, but I can still hear the music or friends through my headphones. They have a regular pair of Sony headphones, not headphones, so they do not have a microphone on them or anything. My microphone has never worked with the headphones plugged in, and the computer is only a few months old. I would really appreciate a clear solution, thank you for taking the time to look!

    What Satellite C55 do you have exactly?

    This laptop does support that one socket for headset and microphone, or you have two different plugs: one for mic and one for headphones?

    Usually, you can check the playback (speakers, headphones) devices and recording devices (microphone and external microphone) in the control panel → sound → playback (or recording) tab

    If you need to check if the internal MIC is set as device by default when the headphones are connected.

    In the event that the laptop uses the Realtek audio driver
    Reach
    Control Panel → Manager Realtek HD Audio → select Mic tab → click Device avancΘs
    Then select option button separate all entries in the independent input devices.
    Click OK
    Speakers of tray right click (Volume) then the recorders (confirm the microphone is active) → select microphone → click on set default (default device)

    It's a network problem.

    Check the proxy settings that blocks maybe, or a firewall.

    System Preferences > network > Advanced (for your current connection) > Proxies

    After the reset of the iPhone ("home" button and close button for 10 seconds, with the iPhone connected to the computer), Siri works!

    I am concern I have to do this reset every 2-3 weeks if I need services of Siri...

    I m having a problem with my Toshiba M200 laptop, it shows no text display or clear blue/green screen or different models with the connected 10W. But it does not work with the battery. Afer complete the system startup and normal screen if I connect the power 10W then works perfctly ok. The same procedure should be followed evertime I use my laptop.

    Can someone guide me weather it is a hardware problem or software related problem?

    Have you checked with a different AC adapter?

    This seems to be a hardware problem.  You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to be able to find a solution to this problem.

    Please, do not type in uppercase.  It is considered "shouting" in the forums.  We already know your issue is important to you or you him would have not posted in the first place.

    Recovery discs are available for the copy of Windows installed initially on the computer.  Which edition of Windows is printed on the COA sticker on your computer?  You can order a recovery disc for this edition of the manufacturer of the computer.  If your windows is an upgrade, you will need to find the upgrade dvd.

    My old Clip + (black, 8 GB) was getting very long in the tooth, so I ordered a replacement off Amazon.  As far as I know, it is identical to the old, but a very unpleasant difference is presented - it does not work with the MicroSD card which has been a huge part of why I got a Sansa at all.  He acknowledges, but after a media updated I'm lucky if more than one album appears.  And that's what's so crazy!  You just blow through the update in a few seconds, and when I navigate on the map, there is nothing or a handful of albums random, orphaned.  That's happened?  I updated the new Clip + for the current firmware (as I had done with previous); I made sure to reproduce all the parameters that I would be put in place before--I can't imagine what could be the cause!

    The card is formatted in FAT32 with the same sector size in storage aboard the player (32 768 bytes).

    A 64 GB card format works even without any problem.

    I tried to update the media in MTP and MSC mode; the problem is the same in both.

    There is ample space for MTABLE. SYS - I have not yet loaded all the music on the Clip + itself.

    Rockbox plays the card without problem, but the sound quality is horrible (at least on this player; I'm sure that other versions sound best), and its interface is a headache.  No thanks.

    HM.  Looks like to run CHKDSK /F on the map the problem resolved!

    Access the menu advanced startup options by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts. In the advanced startup options select safe mode
