  Thanks for your help.  Unfortunately no idea worked.  Windows Installer 4.5 is not good for Windows 7.  However, I was able to restore my computer to an earlier date and the previous itunes was there.  It still would not allow me to access without security clearance, but I finally understood how to afford access - I am the administrator and the only user - go figure!

• BT Yahoo mail will not switch to the new style when using Firefox

  I had to do a re - install under the motherboard has failed. I use BT Yahoo email. On the home page, I get a link "switch to the new BT Yahoo! Mail". That is the link allows to set up the new style and I can then do what the home page and opening in the new style every time.   sigtool. CSK

  sigtool.DB

  sigtool. Set

• Installation of VirtualCenter migration with the new database

  I have an existing installation of Virtual Center and sql server that was installed by an employee of the past. The installation needs cleaning and migration.

  So I decided to prepare a new physical server to host a new installation of VirtualCenter and another SQL Server. I installed VirtualCenter, and the database was created.   You can unplug and remove the hosts of their current instance of vCenter and then add the host in the new.  Don't hurt your VM.  You do not also lose connection also well to the storage fabric.

  Just keep in mind that moving to a new instance of vCenter will lose you all the performance and historical data as well as any rules DRS/HA, pools of resources, permissions, roles, etc.

  The recovery disc for your model will not work on a different model motherboard.

  They are only designed to run on the original motherboard with the PC came.

  If you were to try using them, they will report and error and the installation will leave.

  The initial problem was that the PC did not go beyond the page of Windows to start upward. So I had to do an installation of the Dell windows XP disk repair. But I couldn't boot from the CD, (even after changing in the system BIOS boot order) to work around this problem, so I had to disable the boot on the other upward options being - HDD, USB etc. so only if it start from the disc.

  After completing the first part of the repair facility, the PC restarted to complete the second part of the installation, however I got an error message "the Kernel32.dll file is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the checksum calculated.

  After some research, I solved this problem by using the windows recovery console to extract a new copy of the kernel32.dll from the windows XP disc. It seemed to work. The second part of the window repair facility restarted successfully, but now the problem is it will not complete installation, it gets stuck/not will not go beyond the 26 minute mark during the phase of "complete installation."

  It has been full of hiccups. I'm not a person of computer tech at all, but have managed to get so far at this stage.  Can someone please please help, very much appreciated.

• Documents Word 2007 open but will not appear on the monitor.

  When I try to open existing Word 2007 documents or start a new Word opens but won't that appear in the lower shelf. When I click the icon in the lower plateau, on what reached the document quickly slides off the screen to the right--and out of sight.   You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

  You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

  My mother has a Packard Bell M3871. Recently, she had a problem she turn on the computer and the date would go to 01/01/2011 and not all startup applications start as the antivirus, etc. I decided to restore the system to factory settings. Worked well. The day following the date returned in 2011 and I was not able to use internet as he said the connection is not private and it was recommended to install updates.
