Site unresponsive

My portfolio site is sensitive when the scaling of the browser window.  Looking over the phone or tablet, it remains the same as on a desktop computer. Don't know what to do.

Thank you

It is a problem caused by GoDaddy transfer/masking rather than use the domain mapping. It is the addition of your site in an iframe and causing responsiveness not to work with your custom URL (your .portfolio URL should appear OK)

To resolve this issue, please make sure that you have configured your DNS correctly by following our instructions here:

I already have a custom domain and I want to use with the Portfolio. What should I do?

If you have other questions/issues in this regard, please contact GoDaddy because they have access to your account information!

  • Safari freezes on some sites

When I open some site like github.com, pypi.python.org, other, Safari hangs for a 5 seconds or more and shows the spinning ball. If I open another tab and return to the tab of the github, it will freeze again.

I tried to clear the caches, cookies, delete the "plist. Safari - nothing works Other browsers like Firefox work very well with the sites.

Is it possible to fix it? I use sites all the time and it is very annoying to wait more than 5 seconds, whenever I open them

  • After upgrdes Firefox crashes, is slow and pages Web do not load or do not work properly. These sites work in other browsers.

I used FF for years and until the recent updates had no problem. Since upgrades FF is unresponsive or crashes frequently. Do not load pages or if they do not load they cling just forever. I went through the info on the help available and the proposed resolution has failed. Until upgrades FF for me was the most stable browser option.
I use this for work and do not have the time for questions, in that I continue to run and having to use two browsers is stupid.
    Help is appreciated.

  • One of the sites I visit does not respond when I use my wi - fi.

I have an iMac, iPhone and the iPad. This site (www.cheapjoes.com) is accessible via my iPhone, using Verizon, only. When I am connected to WiFi, it says "the server unresponsive. This happened for several days, and this is the only site doing this. I have restarted the iMac and iPad, deleted the cookies from this site, restarted the wi - fi, all to nothing does not. Can you help me?

    You can try things:

1 clear the DNS cache: http://osxdaily.com/2015/11/16/howto-flush-dns-cache-os-x-elcap/

    2. check the hosts file: cast Terminal, located in/Applications/Utilities/and type the following command (followed by enter): sudo nano/private/etc/hosts

You will be asked your password, but that's OK. Copy and paste the result in a reply to this topic. Subsequently, you can quit Terminal (Type ctrl-X first).

  • Firefox has becomes slow and unresponsive after that I tried to install the addons (not installed)?

I recently format my computer and reinstall windows 7, since it was the only way I know of to solve the problem with Firefox (I already had this problem too). I download the latest version of firefox 33.0.2 and install it. This version was super fast. But becomes slow and unresponsive when I tried to install the Add-ons. I visited the official site of firefox and searching for addons, when I tried to install addons, Firefox crashed. Therefore, it has becomes quite slow and cannot restore previous sessions. Even to type my email address, it takes more than 5 minutes and reacts more frequently (after typing each letter).
I want to know if this is due to some viruses, or this version of firefox is not "stable".

    Hey there,

We are sorry to hear that Firefox crashes. To better help you, please follow the steps below to provide us with crash IDs to help us learn more about your accident.

    1. Enter Subject: hangs in the Firefox address bar and press ENTER. A list of submitted Crash reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
    2. Copy the 5 most recent report ID begins with bp - and then back to your forum question but that stick in the box of "Post a response. (Please do not take a screenshot of your plant, just copy and paste the ID image below is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like)

Once you have done so, you could try the Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

    • In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

    I hope this helps!

I tried all suggestions that I found in help, including "Firefox uses too many resources", "Firefox crashes or does not ', and 'Unresponsive script - how to fix. I deleted the history, cookies and cache, reset Firefox, reinstalled, all what I can. • JavaScript causes Firefox to be unresponsive for a few minutes.

I have a form of Web site with a large amount of dynamically generated javascript that uses jQuery to handle events. When you click on the radio buttons in the form that Firefox 26 cross halfway then stop responding for about two minutes, while showing (not answer) in the title. If I go to: javascript.options.baselinejit.content config and disable the form works very well, if I turn this option FireFox unresponsive courses via the form. It started recently, but I don't know exactly what version is started on, Firefox 26 certainly has the problem for me. All extensions and plugins have been disabled and "Use hardware acceleration when available" is not selected. Also the form works fine in 31 Chrome, Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Hey keviga, would you be inclined to produce a new bug for that? You can reference the JavaScript baseline compiler as the problem. I guess that the tricky part is to find what is happening in your scripts that triggers the question.

  • Aspire One D255E, Intel Atom, Windows 7 Starter: Slow and unresponsive

    All,

I work on this Netbook for my parents.

It has been used VERY little since.

    has all updates installed,

There is NO program installed outside the factory except for MS Security Essentials and Maliwarebytes programs.

That said, it is VERY SLOW and sometimes UNRESPONSIVE to keyboard shortcuts.  I know that this is not a high level of PC, but can I do to speed it up if we can search, eBay, Facebook and other sites.  No hard calculations are required, just basic of simple functions.  It's just to slow down now and basically no one will use them.

    Thank you.

    Hi pattscarpenter,

Thanks for posting the request in the Microsoft Community. Looks like you get the message not responding when you try to open multiple Web sites.

Answer these questions that will help us provide a better solution:

    1. where exactly do you get this error message?

2 have had any changes made to the computer before the question?

    3. what browser do you use?

Try the steps if you get the message of Internet Explorer:

    Method 1:

If Internet Explorer stops responding on a regular basis, common causes include the presence of spyware, an add-on, a computer virus, or a corrupt file that tries to access Internet Explorer

What to do if Internet Explorer stops responding

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-to-do-if-Internet-Explorer-stops-responding

    Method 2:

Try the steps mentioned in this link and check if you are able to open Web sites.

If Internet Explorer crashes, stops working, or closes immediately after opening, you might get an error about Internet Explorer don't works do not or that it has encountered a problem and needs to close. The problem may be with low memory, or corrupted or missing system files. Restart the computer to clear the memory and then open Internet Explorer by itself.

  • Unable to connect to a particular Web site

When I try to connect to www.heide-express.de the browser says what the server unresponsive. I don't think that it's a server problem, but a problem of browser setting, and I don't know what to change?

    Help, please!

    Hi again LegOff,

    Thanks for the quick response!

Since more than one computer is affected by this issue, it seems that it could be related to the router. Moreover, it would also be a problem with the access provider.

After some more research on this subject, I recommend you to ping the IP address of the Web site you mentioned in the post above: 144.76.56.227. Ping this address, please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Click the Start button
Step 2. In the search box, type "Command Prompt"

Step 3. Click on command prompt

Step 4. Type 'ping 144.76.56.227' and press ENTER.

This should help to determine if your laptop is able to communicate properly with the Web site. If you are not able to recover all the answers for the Ping, it's probably a problem with the router or the access provider. If you are able to recover all the answers successfully, it is most likely a problem with the router firewall.

To get help with your Internet service or your router, contact your service provider.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!
