  I use HP Pavilion a6550in with Win7 64 bit Ultimate SP1 and 4 GB of DDR2 RAM.

  I'm running CS6 if I want to stay in the 600 series of Nvidia cards that are on the whitelist for CS6. I want to choose between these two cards because I'm under eyefinity right now and I can't go back, these Nvidia Surround support out of the box with any necessary adapters. MSI heatsinks are also fantastic with these cards.

  So basically what I'm asking, is the proformance go with 2 of the 680 years is worth the $500 price difference?

  For After Effects, there is no reason to spend the extra money, unless you use a specific feature: the 3D rendering engine traced to the RADIUS. If you do not use this feature, and your focus is After Effects, then spend your extra money on RAM and SSD.

• The size of a bottleneck is a weak graphics card?

  One of my computers, I have integrated graphics card (Intel). Compared to the separate maps, it is pretty poor.

  No, it isn't. However, Todd and Michael have maybe simplified a bit too. There are advantages to having a dedicated card.

  • Some effects are accelerated. If you only use, for example to make the straight color corrections, you can see some helping hand. However, who will get lost as soon as you throw non - GPU effects into the mix.
  • Several plug-ins from third-party good use OpenGL or CUDA (stuff of Magic Bullet, Sapphire, optical flares), so a good map will benefit them.
  • MediaCore can use some hardware to accelerate the decoding of compressed images. In turn, AE can then use its own functions of acceleration for the mock-up panels, pictures and layer to allow a more rapid wash.
  • AE has some 3D OpenGL, if not much. If you work a lot with 3D layers, they would still benefit.
  • Premiere Pro uses massively the acceleration features. This becomes relevant, when you work with dynamic links to bring on these things in AE.

  So all in all, a dedicated card does not hurt. There is no need to go crazy, however. Yet a map to 80 euros should provide enough performance gain. Just be careful with stuff to third party first. They do not need specific tested / certified cards.

• Are my system or RAM faulty graphics card RAM? MacBook Pro crashes several times a day.

  Any time I see pictures, usually after several system crashes and restarts automatically. Because that's when I'm viewing images, it leads me to believe the graphics card or RAM is a failure. System is about 6 years old now.

  Felix, welcome to the forum.

  There is only one PCI Express x 16 (Genesis 3) slot for a video card.  With respect to liquid cooling, medium size case do not have a lot of space.  I have a Phoenix 860-170VR with an R9-390 X video card and it is extremely tight.  However, having said that, I think you wouldl be pleasantly surprised by the way the computer will be with existing components.  I can play COD series on the best settings.

When I decided to take it apart to clean all the dust and change of thermal paste to reduce heating - successfully, btw - I got notice that nVidia graphics (gtx 650M) has been pluged in a * MXM 3.0 type B * slot.

  So I thought: ' is it possible to update? I am very interested to upgrade to a 770M or 870M, with dedicated memory, of course. I noticed the size, format and also the poscion of the 'slot' screws are the same newer cards.

  Mobile machines are not expandable as desktop computers. GPU upgrade is certainly not supported and I'm 99.9% sure it's impossible.
  Due to the specific design and limited cooling possibilities that these updates can be done.

  I'm not familiar with current PC for sale, regarding upgrades.  Since is considered a new HP, try looking at the list of options on the HP website.  Most higher end PC have the options that you choose before buy you, to customize the generation.  Choose a model with options that match your criteria now and notice the upgrade options - write down them - to avoid confusion later.  OR go with a customized version, but this could mean significant spending.  It is the hand off the coast between prebuilts and personalized.

  I recently got a Compaq Presario CQ57-339wm laptop PC.

  It has Win 7 HP 64 bit installed.

  I've updated the memory up to 8 GB.

  Intel Celeron 1.5 gb CPU B800

  Intel HD graphics card.

  And there the new Chipset HM65.

  My question is this.

  While I know it will run that high end games.

  I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get "FULL SCREEN GRAPH" when you play simple games like Empire Earth, Dungeon Lords, Solitaire, chess, build a Lot, etc.?

  On a laptop with Intel Graphics awhile back I could go in the graphical control panel and select the stretch to the size of the screen option and he would give me full screen graphics.

  BUT!

  When I go into the graphics Control Panel now, I don't see this option.

  What gives?

  I do not expect to run high-end graphics, but fucking hell, I should at least be able to enjoy full-screen display size of 1366 x 768 instead of graphic image format.

  I would appreciate any help...

  As I had not had a response to my question, I thought that I better go and to fend for myself.

  So I went on a search engine Bing to find a solution to my problem and I did...  Admittedly simple so I thought for those who may have the same problem I would my Solutrion that I found so here you are.

  Intel full screen game Fix.
  
  To set the Intel scaling of Glitch.
  
  #1. Right-click on the desktop and choose screen resolution.   And change the resolution to 1024 x 768.
  
  #2. GoTo Control Panel, click on Intel Graphics & Media. Scale option will now be avalible, select Stretch to full screen and save.
  
  #3. Once again right click on the desktop. And change your resolution to the Native resolution, click on I accept... You should now be set for full screen graphics in games.

• HP Envy 750-114: hp envy 750-114-added to a graphics card

  I am to buy HP Envy 750-114 and upgrade with a graphics card.  The one I found is low power, so it will be fine with the 300 watt power supply that comes with 750-114 envy.

  The problem is I want to order the video card for a refund until the PC (the refund will expire until the PC is delivered).

  The 750-114 envy will accept a card of video of the form factor ATX size 7,76 "(L) x 5" (H)?

  I'm looking at one is the Gigabyte GV-N75TWF20C - 4GI.  It's the only sub - $200 4GB video card that I found that good performance and low power requirements.

• Need of new graphics card for my Satellite Pro M10

  I guess that my graphics card is broken because the quality of the screen is bad a flickering with green stripes. Almost impossible to read what is on display. In the list of devices, the graphics card is marked with the yellow triangle symbol.

  Its seems not to be a driver issue because it's the same thing at the start when you get into the bios (before windows xp starts).

  Is it possible to change the graphics card myself? I know, could be difficult, but I guess that I am capable of killing.
  But what card I can use? Now, it's a GeForce4 Go 410.
  Can I take a better as long as it's the same size and the need for cooling than the former? How do you know that you can adapt and where to buy?

  I hope someone can help.

  Unfortunately, you cannot swap the graphics card because it s soldered on the main PCB (printed circuit board). If theres anything with Exchange of DIY. You will need to swap the whole motherboard to fix this error.
  Then if you still have warranty then bring your machine in an ASP. You can also bring your machine to an ASP when not in warranty, but you will be charged for the Exchange/repair of the motherboard and in your case, it could cost about 300-$500 (I'm just guessing, it can be much more expensive..)

  The main reasons to be sure of are normally feeding you, special (to THE) cable power supply for the graphics card, on the motherboard compatible expansion slot, the drivers for your operating system, another thing to know is the physical size of the map, for moments of cases.
