size of the content in different screens

I want to do a new website of muse. In my previous Web sites, the default page size was 960 x 500 (min height). Which led my site look tiny in a screen with 1600px wide and I had to do a lot of changes in the CSS code by adding questions to the media and other things after have exported them in html format in order to increase the size of the content. So how can I start making my new Web site for larger screens (in Muse) and let that well appear more small?

I tried to increase the width of 1600px page. It sounded good on my desktop screen, but in my laptop screen the content seemed huge.

You can't have your cake and eat it-Muse is intended simply not sensitive design. If you want to create a design that looks good on different screens, this means that you must let Muse (at some point) and start coding (as you were forced at the time), or at the very least, use a tool like ARA and go from there.

  • Zoom in print - preview mode is for the display of the page size or the size of the content on the page?

    Print - Zoom preview.

When I zoom it changes the size of the page on displays on the screen and it also changes the font size of the displayed text.

Is this a bug or I'm doing something wrong.

Either way, I need both the features...
i.e., I want to change the size of the page, as it is displayed and I also want to be able to change the size of the content of the page - but I'd like to separate selection in box / controls for each.

Print preview is a scale control, than the 'ladders' everything on the page, text and images. The paper size and margins are not changed when the 'balance', these controls are elsewhere. Basically, a scale of 50% will use half of the sheets of paper to print a Web page, it would be to shrink or 100% to adjust.

    Hello

    Options:

    1. click right on the desktop > customize. Select adjust font size and try the larger scale (120 DPI) or click Custom DPI and select a different percentage.

    2. click right on the desktop > personalize > display settings > resolution. Move the slider to one notch down. This will make everything on the larger screen, but you need to scroll more that you used to see everything on the screen.

    3. for Internet Explorer, use the Zoom feature on the right side of the status bar or use the key combination [Ctrl and +] and [Ctrl-] to zoom in or out.

    "Change screen resolution".

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

For example, 640 × 480 is a lower screen resolution, and 1600 × 1200 is higher. CRT monitors generally display a resolution of 800 × 600 or 1024 × 768. LCD monitors can better support the higher resolutions. If you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have

You cannot change the content between breakpoints.

As muse are not sensitive sites, I'm afraid it is not possible to create the page that is compatible with the screen sizes but you can refer to the suggestions provided by Zak in the forum below to make sensitive post type.

  • How to adjust the GUI on different screen resolution?

    Hi all

I have an application that must be deployed on different stations with different screen resolutions. I want my application to be responsive, that it should be settled well in accordance with the resolution just like sensitive site. Is it possible to do?

You have at least two simple ways to accomplish what you want: setting the resolution and dispatchers.

The first automatically adjusts Panel when it is displayed on a screen with a different resolution than it was desigend on

Dispatchersneed a little more effort: basically, they can be used to change the appearance of the window when they are moved interactively by the operator or by programming with OperateSplitter. You can decide what controls are suitable when a divider ir operated and if they are moved or resized.

In the case of your example of the user interface, a horizontal separator could be used to resize the text box and move down buttons when the Panel is maximized.

The choice between these alternatives is on hand: I personally do not feel good with the brutal scale operated when you use the resolution setting so I normall use dispatchers to adapt application windows to the size of the screen.

You can see examples of the couplings in docking.prj and examples of splitter.prj located in the samples\userit folder. For an example of the first methos, the value attribute setting resolution 100, change the resolution of the screen and see what happens when you launch the program.

  • resize the content in full screen

It ist a nice feature (among others) that Articlate offer Captivate while not: even if a project is prepared for a smaller size, the user can easily switch to full screen without losing the quality of the fonts and other vector content. Captivate, however, does not offer this possibility. The user is stuck to a predefined screen size. And for the producer, change the size of the screen along the production process isn't hassle either. -What for the wish list? Or am I missing something here?

I look forward to your comments.

    Hello

The issue is that Captivate is not vector. It's basic bitmap. This means that any deviation from the greater or smaller size that you have saved will result inevitably in the degradation of quality. The extent to which it deteriorates is directly proportional to how it is size of difference.

  • How can I reduce the size of the taskbar (bottom of screen)

The icons are the right size, but the bar is high

    Hello

Firefox on Windows is now after display, scaling options that can display text and or larger icons on high-resolution screens.
You can adjust the resolution of your screen.
To change it follow these steps:

    • Type of topic: config in the Firefox address bar and hit the Enter key.
    • If the warning that this might void your warranty , click I'll be careful, I promised.
    • Search for layout.css.devPixelsPerPx

    • Double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to edit its value. The default value is - 1.0 in Firefox 22 and above. Change it to 1.0 to run as in previous versions of Firefox.

If necessary, further adjust the value of 0.1 or 0.05. Use values between 1.0 and around 0.5 to reduce the size of the elements. Use a value greater than 1.0 to increase size of. For example, a value of 1.25 will increase the font size of the 125% to account for the default DPI setting in Windows 8. Check the value that you enter. Definition of a value that is too small will take everything away and too high will explode things.

If the web pages should always be adjusted so you can watch the extension Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint .

To adjust the font size for the user interface, you can use the extension of theme font & size changer .
