Size of the SRC directory keep growing

Hello eveyone,

Can someone tell me if there is a purge cycle that can be done in the SRC oracle10g directory?
In fact my src directory is more and I don't really know if there are log files that are increasing or being generated... am fairly new on oracle10g clusterware.

There is in my personal directory of the crs in my generated files of type cdata: ucode mipsel
Ex:

Question... just when regular backup files have wrong permission and they can't be replaced by crsd.

FIX:

Check the permissions of the files inside the $ORA_CRS_HOME/cdata /.
Or:

# ocrconfig - showconfig

If the authorization is not root: root, and then modify the permissions as

# cd $ORA_CRS_HOME/cdata.
# chown root: root *.ocr

You can delete the old files (random) once everything is back to normal.

  • JMS store the size of the file continues to grow

    Hello

    In our production system, the file size of the JMS store continues to grow (1 GB per day and statitistics on the show file size it is linear in time, so not because of a burst of time messages).
    First we thought that this is due to unconsumed messages or transactions not recognize, but console weblogic JMS statistics view current or pending message in one of the WAD of the file (and the application logs does not trace of error).
    The only exception is some of the messages that go on a SOL JMS file without being consumed her, but it's only 2000 messages to them and which represent all together less than 10 MB, so it doesn't seem to be related (unless there is a very specific fragmentation problem that ignore us).

    In addition, we have compact the jms store files using WLST and several trips are compact in 7.1 MB:
    Before:

    -rwx - 1 webadm webgrp 1, 24 3 August 10:51 FILESTORE_CANOEJMSSERVER_1000000.DAT

    -rwx - 1 webadm webgrp 1, 24 3 August 10:53 FILESTORE_CANOEJMSSERVER_1000001.DAT

    -rwx - 1 webadm webgrp 761 M 24 August 10:54 FILESTORE_CANOEJMSSERVER_1000002.DAT

    Command:

    Java weblogic.store.Admin

    Compact - ed.

    quit smoking

    After:

    -rw - r - r - 1 webadm webgrp 7, 1 M 25 August 11:33 FILESTORE_CANOEJMSSERVER_1000000.DAT

    We also release the content of the file using wlst, and we get an xml file of 11 containing only the message in the DLQ JMS file.

    The application treats about 10,000 JMS messages every 5 minutes on both nodes of a cluster. Watch application logs that he used successfully up to approximately 150 JMS message in a second.
    The size seems to increase only on the first node (the second node jms store file size is 50 MB without be compacted, 1 MB after beeing Compact):

    -rwx - 1 webadm webgrp 54 M 24 August 10:55 FILESTORE_CANOEJMSSERVER_2000000.DAT

    We have not seen this problem on other platforms.

    We do not know whether it can have a link, but the disk partition where the Bank JMS file are is not the same on the production platform.

    If you have an idea about the source of the problem or the things we should look at to understand what is happening, it would be greatly appreciated (because the problem appeared on the production platform, we have no access directly and must apply to the intervention. Thus information on the problem is not as easy as we would like to be).

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Hello

    To keep this conversation updated some information.
    So we managed to avoid this problem by failing to put messages in GENERAL store (and instead of remove them). A special consumer on the file have certainly solve the problem too.
    It seems that the jms server could not reuse space of the message successfully consumed for about 10,000 are added simultanesouly (every 5 minutes) and some of the 10,000 messages (3 to be exact) are unsuccessful are wrong and go (after 3 unsuccessful attempts) in file DLQ JMS in the same jmsstore.

    Note: in this case, add a limitation on the maximum number of bytes the Server JMS or modifying synchronous write strategy does not change the behavior: the size of file storage continues to increase until the file system is full.

    [edit] I forgot to mention that we you of the different priorities of JMS to the message in the JMS file [/ Edit]

  • Size of the application icon

    Application of BlackBerry Torch icon big what should be?

    Best practice: design of icons and indicators for the BlackBerry 6 theme

    • Create icons that are compatible with the default icons in the size, the weight and balance.
    • Create 32-bit .png files.
    • In the toolbars and context menus, create icons with an average size of 33 by 33 pixels. These icons appear on a canvas 60-by-40 pixels and must have a negative space.
    • The application icons, create an icon file that does not exceed 68-by-68 pixels. This size includes the canvas. Keep the weight of the icons within a space of 49-by-49 pixels. Smaller items can extend beyond this size, but the icons should not exceed 55-by-55 pixels. If the icon specified in the Web exceeds this size, it could be scaled down and upset the thicknesses and the slopes.
    • Create icons for application with four components: base, line drawing, reflection and light of bounce.

  • Size of the DS

    I need to expand the DS of 1 TB to 1.5 TB.

    If I increase the size of the LUN from the storage instead of deploying a new LUN, the size of the data store will grow on the fly on the side of vcenter after a new analysis?

    Rahul-

    In IT, all made up of Bits and bytes, where a little can usually have one of two States possible, either zero ore a (on or off), so base 2 (or binary), and consists of an 8-bit byte . The guys in marketing like however to use the base 10 (dezimal), which makes the capabilities of their systems to seem larger than it is technically. For example, look at the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megabyte that explains the difference between binary and decimal values.

    With 2 to as in your case, if it is a value of base 10 then your LUN would be ~1.81TB (base 2) and you would save. However, it looks like the storage system with the values of base 2, i.e. real 2 TB.

  • Size of the cache on the server of Mirage

    Hello

    on the Mirage server, we have defined a D: drive with 100 GB for caching.

    The dirve is filled up to 99%.

    What is the preferred size for the Cache Directory?

    Mirage to allocates the full disk space each time?

    Is it possible to redirect the Cache Directory in a unc path a set a limit for the size of maximum Cache?

    Thanks in advance

    I think that the default is set during installation. If you left the default, I think that it is 10 GB. If you have defined the set of 100GB then uses this to the chunkstorecache used for deduplication and functions SIS with regard to CVD. I don't think that it would be recommended to redirect to another location you may meet other things that cause latency or other number.

  • As a Time Machine backup, it keeps adding to the size of the backup?

    TM starts the backup and starts suddenly to add to the size of the backup, it will do. This means that no player will never be large enough to accommodate the backup because it keeps growing in size (as each block of data is added, the size of the backup continues expansion of the same amount). I have attached 2 screenshots showing what has happened in the minute to restart the backup. TM is backup on an external WD hard drive via the USB-3 port on my MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, end of 2013). 1.9 TB of data backup - there should not be a problem because the external hard drive has 3 TB of space and has been freshly formatted before being used for the first backup on this drive. As you can see from the screenshots, the backup is much larger than it should be.

    1 minute later screenshot:

    Before this behavior, I have had problems with Time Machine while using another backup drive (a drive LaCie Quadra) with for example, ignored backups, backups landed at calculation time, backups, partially blocked by a backup for more than 36 hours etc., error messages from read-only TM etc... I tried several solutions on this forum and none seem to have corrected these strange behaviors. It felt like I've solved a problem, shortly after another was about to begin.

    I stopped finally try the solutions suggested here in the forums, as well as some external sites such as Pondini and chose to use another drive (HD freshly cleared using disk utility - the WD drive that is currently attached to the MBP). The WD external drive worked well on the Mac Pro in the office, and I have no reason to suspect that this is the problem (I ran some tests after erasing it and there is no error reported).

    Well, the first symptom that something still was wrong was when backing up to disk WD has slowed to a crawl yesterday afternoon, but I left it on overnight. At noon today the backup was still running, but about ⅔ complete (very, very slowly - running data blocks are moving into very small pieces), but I have to bring the MBP to a meeting and everything stop. Then my back and everything by plugging, TM started upward and all seemed well, until I noticed that the backup data was almost 2.5 to. I restarted the MBP. It's once again, I noticed that Time Machine did not work as I expected. The size of the backup continues to expand... I was expecting TM that she had about 250 GB left to save, but as see you from the screenshots it much much smaller than that. I have let it run like that for about 2 hours, hoping that it was just a small mistake, but the HD continues to fill, only 185 GB of space left. Strangely, I can enter TM and see my data.

    Suggestions please? Very much appreciated.

    Stu

    Nobody answered, so I thought I'd share the temporary solution I came up with.

    I started in safe mode, deleted the backup external TM drive I was using and launched a full backup with TM (always in safe mode). I leave TM turn all night and a full backup has been completed. I rebooted, entered TM and restore some files to confirm that I was actually able to restore the backup pieces. Since that time, I did have problems with TM make scheduled backups, with one reading errors etc.

    I will continue to spend some time to know what triggered these questions... since I was able to make a backup in safe mode, this means that I have other avenues to explore.

    I will report back if I find anything.

  • After that you increase the size of the page with Ctrl plus, is there a way to keep the new setting?

    My new laptop has great features but a much smaller screen. Change the screen resolution in Windows makes it all look terrible. Using ctrl / + in Firefox to increase the page size solves the problem, but only until you go to a new page. Is there a way to keep the new setting until what reverse you it with ctrl/less?

    There are some add-ons that can be used to change the zoom level on all sites, for example:

  • Save for Web Action which keeps the size of the specific image

    I need to create an action recording for a 850 web x 655px.

    When testing my action for the first time, it shows in the Save as dialog box, the image has been reduced to this size as a percentage. If it works well.

    However, when you test the action on an image of different original report, it still reduces the percentage that had been recorded, rather than just to save the image to the 850 x 655, which gives me a different image size.

    Anyone know how I can keep the size of the image of 850 x 655 every time?

    Thank you

  • keep the size of the zoom in/out absolute when brush

    I wonder if it is possible, or is there a way for me to keep my brush of the same size when I Zoom in/out to a drawing.

    what I mean is if I put my brush 80px and my drawing at 50%, the size of my brush is a relatively good size, but if I Zoom in/out the relationship between the size of my brush and modifications of design. my brush will appear bigger if I'm at 100% even if it is still to 80px.

    so I would like to know is possible to keep my brush to 80px, but always keep the size that is when my drawing was 50% even when I'm at 100% zoom? because I Zoom in and out a lot during my cycle of painting and it's a pain to have to constantly change brush sizes.

    P.S. I know the shortcuts after you press [] to change brush sizes.

    I use Photoshop CS6 on a windows 7.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Linnt_roller,

    Because the tip of your brush is set to display the actual shape and size of the brush, if your brush is a circle of 80px, this circle more and smaller as you zoom in and zoom out - this is because the pixels are larger or smaller as a percentage of your screen size. Changing the size of the brush when you zoom in and zoom out is actually the tool you draw with.

    You can control the display of the brush tip cursor, if that's any help - there are several options in the preferences > cursors.

    However, it is not possible to automatically change the brush size when you zoom in, even if looks like it's what you want to do (change a smaller brush when you have zoomed in). One option, you can consider if you use not yet she is using a Wacom stylus - with the pressure sensitivity, you can vary the size of the brush depending on how hard you press the tablet. This will not change the display of the cursor, but it will control how much area that you are painting with.

    I hope this helps!

  • The Prime Minister keeps telling me: "saving the backup to the cloud creative projects requires a directory of Creative Cloud Files. Please install the desktop application creative Cloud on your computer to enable this feature. » ??

    Why the Prime Minister keeps telling me:

    "Saving the backup to the cloud creative projects requires a directory of Creative Cloud Files. Please install the desktop application creative Cloud on your computer to enable this feature. »

    I have the app already installed on my computer, I'm pretty sure of (I am connected, and the icon is still present in the top right of my screen).

    This means can't back up in the cloud? I need to do!

    Thank you!

    Hi Dolcerocca,

    This is a known bug that we are working at this time. Sorry! You can file your own experience here.

    This means can't back up in the cloud? I need to do!

    Thank you!

    Right. You must save a separate project once per day at a minimum, copy so that you have several backups in place. Make sure automatic backup is running.

    Thank you

  • How can I keep centered slidshow regardless of the size of the browser

    I have a slideshow with 40 images stretched right to 8850.  I basically want to pin it but does not lose the left to right scrolling of the miniature container.  How can I do this?

    Currently floats slideshow when you change the size of the browser and will cover the header.  I want to keep it centered on the page regardless of the dimensions of browsers

    Any help would be appreciated with gratitude!

    Thank you!

    I checked out the site you mentioned, not exactly the same thing you mentioned (like the one you described is more reactive behavior), but you can go full-screen with slide show.

    Where the images will be suitable for all sizes of screens. I suggest to try, create a new site and then check with the images in the slide show full-width.

    Thank you

  • Increase the size of the directory tmp on host

    Hi people,

    I'm running into a little trouble when you try to install an application on a host computer, where in I need the /tmp/ directory is higher than what it is configured.

    Y at - there anyway how I can change the value. ? or increase the size. ?

    Thank you
    Avinash

    Hi people,

    I discovered that it cannot be changed or increased since its hard coded and seems that VMware is working on feature request increase in size for the temp space because there are moments where the BAND dump is partial because of similar space issues.

    Thank you

  • Keep a grid a fixed size, when the vindow is resizes

    Hi I have a problem with a 'simple' swing application, I made a program to take a lot of user input, I have it in a GridLayout (9.1) if I just add this to frame.getContentPane (); so it's very nice, but if I then change the size of the vindow (do full screen), then it looks like hell :(

    I tried a BorderLayout, but the forest of CENTERING has the same problem. Looks like this:
    frame = new JFrame("UNF " + lokal +  " Indskrivningsprogram");

              Container contentPaneAll = frame.getContentPane();
              BorderLayout bLay = new BorderLayout();
              contentPaneAll.setLayout(bLay);

                    Container contentPaneCenter = new Container();
              GridLayout gLay = new GridLayout(9, 1);
              gLay.setVgap(-5);
              contentPaneCenter.setLayout(gLay);

                  //Adds alot of stuff to contentPaneCenter

              Dimension d = contentPaneCenter.getPreferredSize();
              contentPaneCenter.setMaximumSize(d);
              contentPaneCenter.setMinimumSize(d);
              contentPaneAll.add(contentPaneCenter, BorderLayout.CENTER);
    What I want is for the part of Center tp keep contentPaneCenter.getPreferredSize (); and then just add "gray" around it if in fullscreen.

    Put it in a single component in a GridBagLayout with a null value constraint, as much as I did for the "gradient" image in this example of nested layout.

    If that did not answer your question, I suggest you post a NBS (as in the attached example, & as opposed to "snippets of code").
