size of viewport

I recently came to Firefox from IE due to many problems. Firefox is great and I have no old problems. I don't miss a feature of IE that I can't find on Firefox. When you look at a web site, if the display is not big enough, I could enlarge the page with a size selector in the lower right. Firefox has a similar selector?

Install this module (I use it): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/

  • Read ALL the "on this add-on. It is easy to use
  • Make a right-click on the icon in the module bar goingT100% ' (text only zoom) to "F100% ' (zoom full page) and vice versa"
  • Scroll wheel of the mouse on the icon towards the high zoom; the zoom out
  • Click the icon to select a zoom percentage or reset to 100%

If this answer solved your problem, please click 'Solved It' next to this response when connected to the forum.

  • Full screen presentation

I have just produced a project in integrating authorware of video clips and flash animations. I made the mistake of when you create it, the definition of the size of viewport at 800 x 600 pixels. Unfortunately, this does not play full screen on most of the machines that it is viewed on. Users are not able to adjust the resolution of their monitors to allow this room otherwise.
I tried to change the properties of the presentation in full screen and readjust all of my text, etc to fit, but when this time play it is almost full screen but my project is displayed in the upper-left corner of the window?
I read that you can put a script in to resize the window, but I can't get it works except the script info I have is incorrect.
Please can someone help me with this problem. Much appreciated! Nina

There should be an example of Authorware file also.

Basically, you need to load a function called coverage of the called u32
Cover.u32. aid should tell you how to load a custom function.

Once loaded, place it in a calc at the beginning of your Authorware piece

    --
    Cover()
    --

    That's all. Nothing else.

If you want to be picky, you can also load the same u32 UnCover() and
-use UnCover() - when you leave the room.

  • Question of size BrowserField2 displayContent fonts

We are calling BrowserField2.displayContent (String, String) and passing in HTML. On 5.0.0 police find normal, but on 6.0.0 it is very large. I checked the zoomScale on both and they are 1.0f. I checked the size of the BrowserField and the Manager holding it, and it's the size of the screen.

The HTML being passed is simple:

    Hello

    Hi Martin,

The engine WebKit of BlackBerry 6 requires to provide you with a good window tag, instead of setting the virtual viewport using the browserField.zoomScale property:

    Hello

    hope that helps,

    Sincerely,
    Adam

  • BB10 Viewport confusion

    Hello

I am porting my apps of PB to BB10, with great confusion on the setting of display window.

    1. if I use:

    Portrait)"/ >

It works perfectly on the Playbook device landscape and portrait.

    (Screenshot of the playbook)

But Simulator BB10, it looks bad, scales are too many not the screen width

    (BB10 Simulator screenshot)

2 if I dynamically add the Javascript view window :

The Playbook device, screen is not fixed

    (Screenshot of the playbook)

BB10 Simulator, the screen seems too small too

    (BB10 Simulator screenshot)

3 if I remove the viewport meta tag,.

The Playbook device, screen looks OK when it starts, but it is changing too little on the orientation change

    (Screenshot of the playbook)

Simulator BB10, screen seems OK at the start (screen width adjustment), I don't know how to rotate the Simulator...

I don't know if the BB10 Simulator represents exactly how the device BB10, from my understanding, method 1 above cry be good enough (attested by real Playbook device) device should auto scale to fit the width.

A method which should be the right way?

    Any advice?

    Thank you

My application was made for Playbook, has fixed the size of CSS layout (landscape: 1024 x 600), there is no meta viewport.

That's the problem. Your layout is fixed, if you used a flexible, you will be able to easy port the app, now, you will have to port the full provision of the new resolution.

  • Change the size of the preview area XD

I have a project with a lot of tips from art. They are the size of 1280 x 1024. When I preview them after the last update (0.5.4.51) I only see half of the window. I would like to have the ability to change the size of the preview window.

Just to clarify the current behavior...

In most cases, if you resize an existing work plan to be bigger, it automatically turns into a scrolling work plan.  The original height will be the size of display in the preview, and the new height will be the total height of the content that you can scroll in this window.

So, for example, in the original screenshot above you may have begun with the size of the work plan "Web 1280" and then resizes taller - looks like it is 1280 x 1024 in the screenshot?  When you select the element inside the artboard, you will see a blue dotted line that indicates the height of the viewport (and in the preview window or web for sharing, you can use the mousewheel or the trackpad to scroll vertically).

Automatically scroll work plan is convenient, but unfortunately it isn't always what you want.  So in our next update we will give you the options to enable or disable scrolling on any plan of work.

In the meantime, if you want a larger plan of work just be up - never scroll - then you can use this workaround:

    1. Select the work plan tool
    2. Drag to draw a new plan of work as a custom size
    3. Optional: Enter the width/height values in the properties panel to get a more accurate size
    4. Locate one of your old workplans that has unwanted active scroll.  Marquee-select on any of the artboard to select the entire document, and then copy paste the content on the new work plan.

Work plans which were drawn by dragging with the tool of work plan will never auto scroll on.  After step 3, you can use Cmd - D to duplicate the work plan Virgin created if you have several old worktops to fix.

I know the workaround is a bit awkward - but fortunately it is temporary.  In our next release, you will be able to select (or multiple selection!) work plans and just disable scrolling directly.

I hope that helps to explain things!

  • Different size images in a cursor

I'm working on my site, and I use a cursor that I found, but the images I use are of different sizes and orientation (portrait and landscape) running the cursor extends completely wise page width and height wise he uses about a third of the page. I want it to be similar to this model of Squarespace: Ishimoto - Squarespace.  Basically I want a landscape image to display in this way and a portrait image to display in its own way. Below you will find the CSS for the slider that I'm trying to settle. I tried to change the values of the width and the others, but unfortunately it only changed the width of the entire slider, not only the images. I know it's a simple solution, but I'm basically just trying to expand my knowledge some more here while I continue to work with Dreamweaver. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I am not afraid.

You will need to use your LIghtroom/Photoshop skills to make images work with your design layout.

This isn't something that Dreamweaver or your plugin can do for you.

Because the image is 1000 x 364, it will extend not to a larger size unless you give the instruction to do so.

The best way is to assign the image to a width of 100% and make sure the extra size has not negatively affected the quality of the image.

  • Size on the smart phone

I checked the size of the screen of my Samsung Galaxy SII phone: 480 X 800 pixels.

Then, I have developed an edge animate with the size 480 X 800 pixels.

When I run my composition edge animate on my phone, it appears as a small, much smaller than the screen box.

    WHY?

My Samsung device is certainly the scale of my composition. My colleague has found a solution: setting the viewport metatag seems to fix the problem.

    Thank you

  • Why my cursor is now the size of the leg of the Ant?

Why has my cursor become so small?  It's about the size of leg of tiny ants lately.

It is very difficult to place images in the area centered in any cell... and it's almost impossible to even see Flash.

I looked through preferences... but found no clue.

Also... How would approach a setting of the area of a Web site down to midway between the top edge of the browser's screen?

Earlier my external site with CSS has the site well supported on the top of the screen.

But I like it a little...

    Thank you!

How would approach a setting of the area of a Web site down to midway between the top edge of the browser's screen?

Vertical centering is a print design concept that does not have much value on the web because everyone uses different views and viewport sizes.  What looks good on your screen is going to be very different on a smaller device web (think Tablet & SmartPhone users).

I think that the best you can do is add a bit of top margin to your page with CSS.

    {body

    Width: 900px;

top of the margin: 45px; * adjust as needed * /.

    }

  • Standard size for a Web site or blog

What is the pixel size standard for the creation of a website or a blog?

    Thanks in advance!

    Erica

That would be the size of the characters.  For page widths, we normally shoot the smallest width of viewport commonly expected browser among the target demographic site.  For general use, only the width would be a maximized browser on a 1024px wide screen, providing information about 980px usable horizontal space, without losing the horizontal scroll bars.  So - use a width of 980px page.

  • Size of the window makes Me crazy

Well, I installed the version run FrameMaker 9.0.  I can't figure out how to get the size of the structured view window to expand to a size where I can see all the text.  I use to be able to see all the text in the view structured using Arbortext and find it very useful to be able to see all the text in this point of view (I'm use the creation in the structured view).  Is it not possible to increase the size of this window, so all text can be seen?

    Eric

    Hi Eric,.

I'm not quite clear what you're asking, but I'll mention it, maybe it's what you're referring to... the viewport of the Structure in FrameMaker don't watch all text in the document, has never.  It shows that the code snippets for you help to find your way. You will need to use the document window to see all the text. The document window allows tags to show the limits of markup, which is actually a view of the structure in itself and supports. That would help?

  • iMovie quadruples the file size. Why? And I can do something?

I captured some pictures of my video conferencing software. It was released as a .mp4 file encoded in H264 etc..

I then imported for some quick changes: it reduced to 39 from 44 minutes and added some melted transitions. Then he exported as a file using roughly the same settings. See screen capture.

What you will see as it is that the file climbed from 300 MB to 1200!  SO:

-What happened (can I avoid this?)

    -Can it be solved?

    Thank you!

Look at them both in mediainfo

    http://MediaArea.NET/en/MediaInfo

I can see that the second file has 2 audio tracks while the first has 1. Which may explain some of the size, but I don't know if it covers all of it.

The other also has a color profile. I have to wonder if iMovie has tried using less compression when exporting. MediaInfo will show more detail, but you will have to manually compare the values and settings.

  • Export of pictures not of the same size as file Photos

Try to export files to then import into Photoshop elements 15. I exported "original not modified", but the file size is about 50 GB when my photo file is about 80 GB. What did I miss? Thank you

Your photo library is larger than the handset sizes original in your library pictures because pictures take the edited versions previews and thumbnails as well. There are also masks for brushed settings or thumbnails of scanned faces.

To see if you got all the original ctrl - click on your photo library, use "Show Package Contents", look at the size of the folder "masters".  It is roughly the size of the folder with the exported originals?

  • Factory reset - the download size

    Hi all

I want to perform a factory reset on my Mac and I wonder if I need to be connected to the Internet to do this? If this is the case, what download size I look? I have only 10 GB of data through my ISP.

    Thank you.

    It is about 5 GB.

  • optimal size of the photo

I want to know what is the optimal size of the photo of the Apple calendar. Particularly in the case of several photos per month.

    Thank you and best regards

    pamabi

    Photo calendars are size 13 x 10.4 inches (or 33 x 26.4 cm).

Information about the books, cards and calendars ordered photos for OS X and iPhoto - Apple Support

The photos you use will be quite large, if the pixel size is high enough to support at least 200 dpi, best 250 dpi.

So the picture full size should be at least 2600 pixels wide, better 3350 pixels to 250 dpi.

If you want to have 3 pictures in a row, to split these numbers by three.
