• Dawn of War 2 does not work with DirectX10

  Dawn of War 2 does not currently work with directx 10. I checked the settings file and it says it works with dx9 and when I try to change it it says that it cannot find a compatible graphics card.

  my graphics card is the GTX 260, so he must run DX10 very well, and I ran it for other games. im just trying to activate ultra options since theyre available only on DX10. I have vista 32 bit.

  I bought a disc and I need to install it and then DL 3 gig of patches, I do it and as soon as it ends I click on play and he advances, said it crashed.   c. you are able to play the game successfully without having to install patches?
  d. have you installed all the prerequisites to play this game?
  
  Let us try to play the game in the State of clean boot and check if it runs successfully.
  
  You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
  Here are the steps to do:
  1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
  The user account control permission.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type
  password, or click on continue.
  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
  3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load starting points.
  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
  5. click on OK.
  6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
  7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

• the total war Rome and the barbarian invasions installed smoothly, perform perfectly on xp, but not at all under windows 7

  just bought the total war rome and expansion (barbarian invasion) today.  I installed the game and expansion on my computer laptop windows 7 and my the family computer that runs on windows xp.  on my computer laptop windows 7 installed, gently, but the game will not run at all... which means that I click on the shortcut on the desktop and nothing happens.  the only way to open the game is by going to my computer, select the cd drive and then opening the romeTW.exe file.

  However, this makes me only to the main menu of the game and this is where the real trouble begins.  Once there, I click on "play rome total war" or in the case of the expansion pack 'game barbarian invasion' which instead of leading to the game itself it just crashes me to the menu let me back at the office level.

  on the side, I met NONE of these problems on the computer of windows xp from my family.

  I tried to make the game compatible with windows xp (service pack 2), which is recommended and Windows xp (service pack 3) I even gave a shot, but none has made a difference.

  I now try to uninstall and install the game for a 3rd time and this time I will try to install under xp compatibility.  If you could please leave a message instructing me on how to do that would be extremely useful

  You may be using a Windows 7 64-bit operating system. Rome total war - barbarian invasion is not compatibile with Windows 7 64 bit operating system. However, it is compatible with a 32-bit version. Click here to check.
   
  If you use a 32-bit Windows 7, try to right click on the romeTW.exe file and run it as administrator and check what is happening.
  You can also check the event viewer for any game related errors.

  Reboot your system.

  Then try to reinstall DirectX.

  I am trying to install a game open source called Rigs of Rods on my dual-boot MacBook Pro with Windows 7 installed via Boot Camp. I get an error that prevents the installation of DirectX. I know that Win 7 includes DirectX 11, but this game does not currently support the DX 11. If I get this error when you try to install DirectX 9. I had a similar problem with another game that I tried installing on another machine Win 7 which is not started in dual mode, and install DirectX 9 worked perfectly. • Empire Total War installation and getting the error message "steam exe (main exception).

  I just bought a new laptop Assus with Windows 7 and bought the DVD Empire Total War.  I put in disc 1 and click on install.  He loads the updates and the steam but then stops and gives me the error message steam.exe (main execption) unable to load library Steam. DLL. I click OK and then install any more.  I have de-installed Steam, Steam sent a request for help, got another way to install the Internet, created a Steam user ID and password... Yet, it is still impossible to load the library. Can someone help me? I want fair paly this game and I am ready to kill people to steam.  Please tell me an easy way to install this game so I can play?

  This laptop is like 3 months old and does ' t have any warranty and I had a few questions such as: when I increase the brightness of the fn key combination or the windows control panel... compare more it diminishes and same is the case of decrease (in fact it increases)

  I am also having this problem.

  I built a new PC and installed Farcry 4 on a cleaning/charge of windows installation. He has not previously installed directx. Installing Farcry 4 mentioned that he was installing directx, however it was very short and im not sure if that actually worked. Anyway, when you try to run the game I got an error on D3DCompiler.DLL having disappeared. Research it's turned out to be a directx error.

  All attempts to update directx (in administrator mode) both using the web Setup program, download files locally, on the album, every single method directx Setup fails with the return to "internal an error" has occurred and to return to the running log file. mine is similar to the above, and it seems that (even when you use the web installer) log file looking for the CD, however, the issue appears to lie with this being "mapped using session" open, please refer to the newspaper below. Please help us?
