Skype crashing after launch

I have no idea why, but as of last night and today, even after the update to the latest version of Skype, the program crashes as soon as it starts. Erase the app gets it to work the first time that I run, but after that, it crashes again unless I have clear data from the application again.

I tried to update Flash, I've updated Internet Explorer, I tried to uninstall and reinstall Skype and I have no idea what to do now.

You have a very old version of Flash Player installed and this version is not compatible with Skype.

Uninstall the currently installed version and install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer (version 15.0.0.239)

http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/

Be aware that the Flash Player for other browsers is not compatible with Internet Explorer.

  • Skype crashing after Login Windows 8

So, I decided to get Skype today so I could discuss with my friends. I launched the Skype app first, and it says that the connection failed. So I decided to get the desktop version of Skype. I downloaded, installed and it worked fine. I registered and signed with success, when all of a sudden it appears with an error message Skype has stopped working and windows is checking for a solution. It is then implemented with windows can not find a solution. I thought I'd better try again, so I did and it happened again. I have decided to re - install Skype and restart my computer. After that I did then it came again with the same error message. So, I decided to look it up to see if had happened to other people, and it had. So, I tried some of the suggestions that had worked for the person, and yet they did not work for me. I just spent a few hours trying to get Skype to work and this is my last resort, so if someone could help me please explain why Skype does not work for me, it would be most grateful.

In one of the sons, one of the answers was to run a command and see the issue as an administrator, so I've attached a file with Skype crash text

  • Skype crashes after update, windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

How to fix something that's not broken. New Skype crashes whenever I am trying to make a call. It is so bad that it freezes on the entire system. I can't 'kill' the application by ctrl + alt + del, only solution to restart the system. I Googled, tried a few solutions, as little different installation versions and turned off auto-updates to date, but nothing helped.

I'm really mad, a lot of work important contacts are there, and I'm forced to use it on a small screen of my iPhone.

    I have

Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, as two or three months

    Avast antivirus 2015

Enough * beep * fast machine with God knows how many processors, 16 GB ram, great drive hard quick flash

Please, I need a working Skype, this update is a stupid idea.

OK, so, here is what I did (spoiler, video calls work once again):

-Updated drivers Nvidia (really doubt it hit anything, Skype broke again)

-Is back to the old version of Skype (does not work)

-Removed stuff from a list of the programms, loading at startup (Avast could not be removed so...)

    -Uninstalled Avast.

    It worked.

So I guess it could be reduced to Avast free Antivirus. And by the way, Skype has become a piece of shit really software that requires a magic set of conditions to work properly. I will be looking forward to an alternative to Skype. Thanks for all the Seraph, I mark a last as an accepted solution. Although an accepted solution would make decent software, as it used to be a few versions ago.

  • Skype crashes after a few seconds on both PC and Galaxy S4

    Hello

I use Skype for quite a long time now and it's just kind of a weird thing:

I've been connected on Skype with my old Hotmail account and then went away and left it connected as I usually do.

When I come back a few minutes later, Skype is suddenly disconnected.

When I try to sign in again with my Hotmail account, it says that someone else may have used my Hotmail account and it must verify that I am the original user, but it's really old, so as far as I know is the address and the password.
No idea how to fix this, either. So I guess I'm stuck with just using my Skype account, without my Hotmail contacts.

Then I log in and about ~ 5 seconds later late Skype crashes. It happens every time. Tried on my phone and it goes also.

Nothing I know has happened lately. No malware, no one asking questions about the accounts, no update for what it is.

I really need help with this one.

    Thanks in advance.

If your Skype account is bound with the Microsoft account, then try to separate them.

    RESOLVED:

So I finally went to the customer, and they advised me to install Flash CC in the default Administrator account (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista /)

But before I uninstalled it, I wanted to see if she was going to start there and he did, which led me to the conclusion that some of the user to Flash CC files were bad, so I deleted this folder:

  • Skype crashing on launch

  • Photoshop CC 2015.5 crashes after launch - Win8.1

Just upgraded to 2015.5. After 1 second OS says Photoshop has stopped working and was closed. Uninstalled and reinstalled made no difference. All other apps improved (Organization, prelude, AE, etc) everything works fine.

Is there something that I should be done to fix this, please?

    Thank you.

    Paul.

I confirmed that renaming this dll is preventing Photoshop

to come. I repeated the exercise several times now. However,.

This dll is used by Mozilla Waterfox, which I use a lot. And I have

found that Waterfox has now stopped working. So there. Looks like that

until Mozilla or Adobe make changes, I have to remember to rename

the dll when I launch Photoshop. Back to the good old days!

  • AE crashes after launch

Earlier today, while working on a project, after effects CC 2015 crashed. When I tried to reopen the program it expired constantly on the start screen, regardless of which project had to be opened. It expired when I open the program directly as well. After doing some research, it seemed that my hidden authorization files were corrupt. So, I followed the guide on how to use the tool "cleaner creative cloud." I uninstalled ALL my creative programs Cloud (who, later, I discovered was not necessary), has ran the cleaner for all programs and reinstalled After Effects. Now, my problem is the splash screen is no longer expires, but after what looks like a good start, the program opens. I can see that the AfterFX.exe in my processes tab in the Windows, but Windows 7 Task Manager don't not present the application such that it is open somehow. This was a pretty serious key in my workflow today and I would like to get it resolved as soon as possible. Let me know what kind of details, you guys need to the most effective resolution. Thank you!

Very well. I write here just to update anyone who can find it in the future. After my post on Monday I spent the rest of the week with three engineers in my office on the phone with Support Adobe technique. I must say, Adobe technical support is some of the worst service I have ever experienced. They were not professional, arrogant, rude and refused to listen to the entry from me or engineers at the station. They lost hours and hours of our time and never solved the problem.

As I have already said, on Friday the tech bypassed the creative cloud Installer and installed a version of After Effects from a trial Installer. This facility, while it is able to open, has been severely unstable. So Monday, I had an engineer taking a peek at my computer. He troubled turned for several hours Monday and Tuesday. Individual tips of previous posts on the Adobe Forums. He cleaned my registry, he wiped my preferences/cache, he ran virus and malware scanning... It has been quite comprehensive in its step by step process. The guy is honestly one of the most intelligent people I know and when even he didn't understand what was wrong on its own we decided to call technical support together in hopes of talking to someone who could worsen the call somewhere with people who did not have the experience in engineering or tools that could help isolate and identify the problem.

We eventually got team with a wet hot lady who does not appreciate when we informed that the base of your troubleshooting time steps that she had been charged to follow (such as the uninstallation and reinstallation of programs). She spent more than six hours troubleshooting that remote while in our computer. Finally, she said she thought it was a problem with the license and that it would transfer us to license support. I tried to prove to the point that if I can connect my computer to co-workers, there must be a local problem that has to do with the license and I didn't think they would be able to help me with this. At this point, his boss is reached and ignored what she said and continued problems.

Keep in mind to hurt these shooting sessions were not without pain. As I said earlier the technicians have been rude, bossy and arrogant. They did the engineers much of your time stop and refused to continue to other causes problems until their demands have been met. One of these questions was that the computer is on a domain server. They refused to continue to troubleshoot until the computer has been completely out of the area and made a completely local account on the computer with administrator privileges. It was a major pain and of course did nothing. ... in any case, his manager was absolutely certain it was the anti-virus software, and once again refused to continue in case of a problem until the software has been completely disabled. This, of course, involved contacting company to get them to type the password and get them done, which apparently took forever. Of course, this has not resolved the problem and his boss said he was short of time and need to call me back the next day.

So, set us up an appointment for him to call the next morning at 11:00. The next day came and there was no phone call. So, I decided to call assistance... after the run around, be transferred to different departments, getting hung up and repeat, I gave up after an hour. A different engineer came and decided to give the last attempt of ti that before disassembling the computer. We tried a few markets we had not tried before and nothing has worked. Then, my colleague signed his Adobe account and, like magic, After Effects loaded without a hitch. No delays or collisions. Then, this had me want of maybe I took advice of the Lady of earlier and communicated with the licenses. Which I did. It was also a terrible experience. In a first time technology has had a hard time understanding why I was contacting him. All I wanted was for him to check my license and confirm, there is no glitch on end of Adobe, or that there is any type of measures it might take to get my license works fine on my computer in case of a problem.

HE remotes in the first thing he does is to uninstall and After Effects (that I protested because I was running short on time), then it goes on even the first tech site, I contacted went to download a trial version installation program. I tell him that's not going to work. I had done this before with a previous tech. It installs not only a version obsolete of After Effects, but it is also extremely unstable and that it does not solve my problem. He begs me to stay on the line and said that if it does not it will escalate my call. I tell him that I've been back several times. He said that by looking at my file number I never took the scale. At this point, I was pretty upset have not been raised before. I was under the impression that there was a line of public support, a line of corporate support and a legacy support team. And I had been transferred to After Effects support team several times throughout my trials with technical support.

So, I tell him it will not work then go ahead and give it a shot so it can escalate to me. Keep in mind, I'm short on time and it keeps promising me that it will be less than 10 minutes for the process to occur. I know that this will take longer because I had been there several times and told him so. But despite my protests, he continues to say "10 minutes" at the time wherever he had After Effects uninstalled and reinstalled web version, it had been well over 40 minutes. He gets the web version, and it starts before the start screen. 'Seeing it is all now fixed.' and I said 'no. It's not. "and give him the Conference I gave him before he starts even this process and tell him that this is not the correct version, it is unstable and I want to download it off the web to make it work. He laughs at me and tells me that it is the most recent version and is perfectly well... He's going to the ' check for updates ' and it hangs. "Ooooh this is strange. This custom ' happen. It is perfectly stable. "it reopens After Effects, clicks check again for updates and once more, it crashes. Thus, as he tries to start troubleshooting why it crashes and then I cut him because I was already largely exceeded the time that I had before I needed clock.

He is absolutely begging me not to hang on him. I tell her, is there nothing more he can do for me. I have gone wrong for almost a week by this point and that there in fact anything that I've not seen before except blatant wasting my time. So he tells me that he can get a new account and transfer the license. I had to tell him. "Okay it sounds like it might work." I'm not super excited to have to make a new account because everything is carefully tied up at work by email, but if it becomes my work programme, again, I'd be happy. Instead of working on me to get a new account and transfer my license continues browse my computer and sees that I am on a domain and then says Oh, 'I see you are on a domain. I think that if you go down to the field and to a local account with administrative privileges that will solve your problems. "It is a shame for me. It was then that I told him thank your for your efforts but you have been of no use to me. You have kept me on the phone by lying to me and continually wasted my time. Of course he is screaming "no!" None! None! No! "because I'm hung up on him.

So, the next day, Friday on this point. I'm working on Boxing my computer and I get a phone call. He is Manager of the Lady on Wednesday who told me he'd call me on Thursday morning. He apologizes for not calling me Thursday, but he told me "it was with a client. Well, Mr President, I am an employee of a company that has a subscription to more than 300 licenses of creative cloud and you severely wasted my time. I explained that I already had and he continued, like the last guy to beg me to reconsider and to allow him to continue troubleshooting. From this point of my Director and Chief Engineer was in the room who jumped on the tech said that the decision was final.

in any case, I have a new computer now, haha and I really need to vent. It was an absolutely horrible experience for me. He wasted my time and now I am extremely reinforced on the changes. It is frustrating that the Adobe technical support is as bad as this. I'm so disappointed in Adobe in general. I have them held in very high esteem before that and now I find ask me if I would suggest people use their products in the future. in any case, I feel that I probably needed to speak about it. And looking up, I see a massive wall of text...

If tl; dr I could log on to another computer and use After Effects. Everyone could connect to my computer and After Effects work. The problem was never solved or officially still isolated. I recommend strongly anyone who falls on this same question, cutting their losses and just reinstall the operating system. I was not in a position of authority to do this, so I'm stuck hitting my head against the terrible Adobe tech support for a week.
