Slight seepage of FHD T440p screen

Juest received a T440p with a FHD screen and I am disappointed with the slight oozing around the edge of the screen. I have 2-3 purge patches which are visible on a black screen and it seems that the lid of the machine is nowhere near hard enough so I'm not that screen ever having a uniform backlight. Even just move the angle of the screen causes all kinds of distortion of backlight. What did do the cover of? Rubber?

Someone else has experience with dreadful uniformity of backlight? Is this something that is all likely to be corrected by Lenovo, or who are, we're just going to have to put up with a decent screen with backlight garbage bleed?

If you encounter a problem with the background light brands lost or water on the screen of a laptop computer T440p, please contact Lenovo's Service for support.

Thank you

  • t440p screen slightly setting brightness on google chrome

    Hi, my T440p a little adjusts the brightness of the screen based on what is displayed. For example, chromium, a page could have more images, so the screen adjusts slightly more or less clear. Another page, it can slightly adjust again. And she does when scrolling to the bottom of a page as well. It's distracting, and I want to turn it off? I am running windows 7.

    This option?

    The last option is what controls the backlight and you can disable the other options as well it about the screen refresh rate switching if it's also embarrassing.

    Hello! I want to improve my E5 - 571G IPS FHD on-screen display. I saw a similar topic in our forum, and I want to learn my eDP cable type: 1 or 2 channels? I have some information:

    Thanks for the reply!

    Hello

    You already read the topic and all need information.

    As I said the computer cable is the same for HD and FHD (one cable) panels. The Group of experts said is compatible according to the list on the Web page. So no problems, you can upgrade your screen.

  • HP 2009 m, black screen, power button / stop lights

    I have a HP 2009 Mr. Windows Vista 64-bit. 4 years.

    I can turn my computer on fine, check e-mail, watch videos, etc. but then the screen will be black. The blue button lights. If I turn off and on. It will work for like 5-10 min or more, then it will be a black screen.  If I watch a video when it goes to a black screen, I can still hear play.  I hear a slight hum coming from the screen that I never heard before that happened.  Is it my desktop computer or do I need a new monitor?

    Hi NSCY,

    The fastest way to isolate the problem to the screen would be, if possible, be: try the monitor on another PC or another monitor to the computer.

    Check your graphics card and the power of the connections on the PC and the monitor also.

    Your graphics card may also cause this problem.

  • Acer Iconia W700 - slight delay in contact after inactive for more than 5 seconds

    I upgraded the OS 8 Win provided with the tablet to Win 8 Pro and since then, I have a slight delay in recognition touch screen after the Tablet is idle for more than 5 or more seconds. As a result, I have to type something twice before it responds. Once I spent idle time, touch works exactly as expected. It is only when there is no tactile activity for more than 5 seconds. It becomes a bit annoying when you play a game or navigate the web where you sit idle for a second, click on a link or an action and I must so he struck again because the contact does not save. I played around a lot with the operating system provided with the Tablet, so I cannot confirm if this happened before I upgraded to pro.

    In addition, I have since 8 reloaded Win pro from scratch and there was no change. It seems almost that the tactile sensors screen go to sleep or something. Very strange.  Thoughts anyone?

    Go to Device Manager, look for human interfaces, then change the two input USB device and uncheck the first line in the current tab.

  • After using popScreen() than pushScreen(), how to remove the fields present in this first screen.

    I have two screens, first_one contains 17 fields & by a button_presnt in the first screen, I'm reaching to the second screen, on the second screen after pop_screen (first) & push_screen (first) I get my first screen, now I want to remove 15 fields, but I face the error, this illegal argument exception, or "Try to delete a field that is not the Manager"... & Note this point I got the get_field_count from the first screen.
    Try

    {

    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .popScreen (object_to_supprot);
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (object_to_supprot);
    }
    catch (Exception err)
    {
    Dialog.Inform ("page load error:" + err);
    }

    Try
    {
    Dialog.Inform ("field homepage County:"+ object_to_supprot.getFieldCount () ');

    int k = object_to_supprot.getFieldCount () - 1;

    While (k > 1)
    {
    Delete (object_to_supprot.getField (k));
    k-- ;
    }
    }
    catch (Exception err)

    {

    Dialog.Inform ("error in the setting of the key work:" + err);

    }

    I disagree with Simon here.  I think that the deletion of fields of a screen is a valid thing to do.  I can see the case when you are using the same screen, but have two different sets of data that require slightly different fields on the screen.  This is what seems to be the case here.

    I just realized what is the problem.

    your code:

    Delete (object_to_supprot.getField (k));

    must be:

    object_to_supprot. Delete (object_to_supprot.getField (k));

    Your current code is actually:

    This.Delete (object_to_supprot.getField (k));

    and 'this' is probably your second screen.  You want to remove fields from your first screen.

    Can I ask you to review my first post and Simon post, once again.  If please review how to use the battery in the display and make sure that you use it properly.

  • Fall of ipad 2. Fall is not difficult

    Hello.

    Fall of ipad 2. Although taken in the fall of environment it has even hit the ground. There is now a gray and white lighting

    on the left hand side. Could I have damaged the backlight or something loose in pot. Anyone suggestions

    to solve this problem

    iPad is not recorded or under warranty. So I have to fix me

    Thanks for your time. Colin

    From your description of the problem I don't know if this could be a separation of question or possible to backlight the screen resulting in slight seepage. Maybe you could post pictures of your iPad to illustrate exactly what you see.

    In both cases, however, it sounds like gout damaged the iPad. You might bring to an Apple store and get an output of replacement under warranty at a lower cost than buying an iPad 2 but since your of is a very old generation iPad I suggest you to buy a newer model.

  • virus or worm?

    Let me ask as a beginner of Mac Pro.

    I doubt that my Mac Pro has a virus or a worm.

    The problem came after I saw MacKeeper advertising on the site.

    As I was watching the film online at the moment, and I downloaded it at first glance be afraid of the virus,

    but later he is some kind of malware.

    Then my norton security check started alarm the threat in this computer, but he never finished the search for a solution to this threat.

    I tried to close my PC and reboot, then found a slight changes in the logon screen; the color of the character username was black,

    and had time to slow connection.

    After that, I tried several ways to check the threat again, but this time there was nothing.

    Even now, the login screen is not normal. Even if no problem for everyday use, I fear that my Mac has something inside.

    If some of you could give me a solution or any ideas, it would be very useful.

    Thank you

  • UHD y50 Lenovo

    I bought the UHD variant, and I'm happy with it, except for the lock at 48 hz. Some games can't. Then I tried to replace, but most (or all?) Replacement FHD screens have 30 pin connectors and UHD has 40. So my question: is it possible to replace the LCD cable as well with a 30 connector pins, so I can go to a panel, FHD, 60 Hz?

    I would say to just get a 60 Hz external monitor and connect it via HDMI (aslong you play on it in the House).
    I would not recommend making the UHD to FHD replacement screens.
    Maybe, try to replace your laptop for a 1 FHD.

    * Note that you can only 1080 p 60 hz with the HDMI, you have right now.

    I'm stuck with the laptop, now that I can't connect it to the monitor 120\144hz since we have only one HDMI output. (shame on you, Lenovo).

  • Fixing loose Soundbar L2440p

    I just got a $ 45 1263, Soundbar to my L2440p monitor k. This sound bar is supposed to be designed specifically for L2440p and L2440x monitors. It is supposed to fix via 3 hooks in an L shape which mate with the corresponding holes on the monitor. To do this, that, however, has nothing that holds the two components together firmly in place. The sound bar hangs just slightly the bottom of the screen. When I try to plug in phones or try to adjust the volume, the sound bar horizontally sliding hooks, disengages from the screen and falls.

    Installation instructions diagram looks like it is supposed to be some sort of clip at the end of phones/mic for the sound bar that is supposed to keep everything firmly in place and which is used to release the soundbar in the monitor. However, on my device this clip is not out in his guts to mating on the monitor and therefore useless.

    Have I missed any important installation procedure?

    Do I have a defective soundbar?

    And the resolution...

    While I slip the device as shown in the instructions, it seems that I was not pushing hard enough. The three hooks on the Soundbar are small enough and manufactured entirely plastic. I was afraid that if I pushed too hard, they could break. Once I decided to take a chance and use more force I was really uncomfortable with the help of the sound bar did engage correctly.

  • New Widescreen has created problems of appearance

    I just updated my monitor to a large one screen and now I find that everything on screen is off the scale and wide it is a solution for this?  Can I change my screen from control to the original, but then there are these black wide spaces on each side of what I'm getting.

    You've restarted the PC with the new screen attached which will allow XP detect the display options?

    Check the specifications of your new screen and its resolution. In his file that he must set the pixel counts both vertically and horizontally. Generally, a large screen will be one of the 1440 x 900, 1680 x 1050, 1920 x 1080. These examples are for a 16:9 screen and a 16:10 wil be slightly different. The classic screens are 4:3 ratio i.e. 800/600, 1024/768, 1280/1024

    Right click anywhere on the blank desktop (not on an icon) and select Properties. In the display properties dialog, click the settings tab and adjust the slider to resolution to match your screen. If she would be the maximum position. If the selected resolution does not match the screen, then it will appear distorted.

    The only downside is that some older drivers/graphics cards will not wide screen modes support if these resolutions are not available. The symptom you describe looks like this problem

  • How to activate audio device internal

    I have I bought a used PC with XP Pro. He has a card its Audigy SB2. After getting the correct driver installed, it worked for a few days. One morning at initial start-up, the sound was out. Repeated uninstalls, driver, updates etc. have not worked. If the card is installed it causes a SafeMode only start. I don't think that the internal audio device worked initially either.  It has probably been disabled manually or install card its Audigy. I would like to go back to the internal audio device until I can find it. How can I do this? Sound card manufacturers website has some information on how to enable the SB2, but some of it looks slightly different from what my screen. I can do this, but I have very specific need step by step instructions because I certainly don't want to spoil all the BIOS settings and be dead and less well off. A lot of what is there is alien to me. Thank you.

    Hey Helpful55,

    Try using the Audio Wizard provided by Intel to see if he can help you determine why the audio interface integrated to the motherboard is not working properly. The link below will take you to a page where you can start the Audio Wizard.

    Hope that helps.

  • Repeat the overlay

    Meeting place for Dell 8 Pro. When you use the on-screen keyboard, sometimes get several letters or numbers with a single push of a button. It is inconsistent and does not happen all the time, but is annoying when it happens. All advice appreciated.

    I found these touch screen issues (multi-cle, erratic scrolling, etc.) produce primarily when the screen is not clean. For example, if dust or other particles accumulate on the screen, it tends to become unreliable. After cleaning the screen with a slightly damp cloth, the touch screen becomes very reliable yet, where several major problems occur and scrolling follows your touch precisely.

  • InDesign - recently created in InDesign vector images appear jagged.

    If a vector object is simple, I'll create it in InDesign rather than placing a vector illustration Illustrator in InDesign.  From a few hours, my vector graphics now have a slightly pixelated/jagged appearance on screen.  I see my guy seems fluid that I converted to outlines.

    I went under Edit-> Preferences-> display and enabled performance parameters with little chance.

    Is attached a screenshot of my problem.  The text in the editable text box and below, it is what is converted to text outlines.  The right is a vector graphic, I developed in InDesign and was shredded not while I was developing (I would have noticed).  Yet once, these objects are not placed and this graph was OK six hours ago.indesign vector issue.jpg

    Side note, I noticed the problem develop recently in Acrobat and was able to disable the parameter via Edit-> Preferences-> and Page display allowing the smooth line drawing and setting the smooth text to the monitor.

    I'm writing this, I noticed that the problem goes away when I turn on an overview of overprinting, so I think my default vector lines (no stroke) make their appearance in staircase.  It is not the end of the world and I can develop simple vector in Illustrator and then copy and paste over InDesign, it's simply boring.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

    It is only a screen problem, don't bother.
