Slow blackBerry Smartphone Super battery charges via USB

I noticed that when I charge the phone using the wall charger, it will achieve a full charge in about an hour.  USB charging takes however as three hours.  Why is this?

Two or three hours I guess. Of course, it will depend on your level of battery at the beginning. I just plug mine every night in a wall outlet, have scheduled Quickpull to run at 4:30, and I have a fully charged device and reset every morning.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones loading very slowly via USB power supply laptop

When I use the wall charger, my fine storm costs.

But if I connect it with the sync cable to my laptop - laptop is turned on with the BB Desktop software running (and I can confirm that I have a backup of the BB Desktop software then the drivers seem to work), the storm is charging is very very very slowly or not at all.

Is it supposed to load OK via USB to the laptop power?  How can I go on troubleshooting this?

Your question is not a problem, but normal and the answer "why" is simple. Wall charger puts out simply more power that the USB port on your laptop needs to (or can). In general, any single USB port is 100-150mA (and can be lower if your running on batteries and the system is allowed to control the ports), while the wall charger is to switch off a little more (700mA)... constantly.

Not to mention that when connected to the laptop there is communication that passes between the device and the computer, especially if you use the Desktop Manager, which makes peripheral 'work' and try to reload at the same time. Sometimes the ' workload ' can be greater than the rate of charge, so why he does not pay at all.

IMHO, load your device with the supplied charger. Only use your computer to charge your device in case of emergency. If you insist on charging the system with your laptop... Plug in your laptop computer, close the Desktop Manager and Device Manager and it should load a bit faster.

  • iPhone 5 c will not charge via USB on the laptop?

    Hi all.

I have an iPhone 5 c and as about a week ago, does not charge via the USB port on my laptop. He sees very well in my wall sockets and Sockets USB as well, but not in my laptop. I have an Acer laptop running Windows 7. Windows is up to date, iTunes has the latest version installed. Whenever I plug in my phone, one of the following conditions occurs:

    (1) does not have

    (2) noise "plugged" USB lights, the window on the lower right, tell that a USB device has malfunctioned

    (3) (rarely) of phone calls after I tried several things

What happened is I would plug my phone, she would charge via USB, iTunes opens automatically, and "trust to this computer" popup would come on my phone if I had unlocked it. None of this is happening now. I did the following to try to remedy:

    (1) power cord iPhone replaced (it was time for a new anyway)

    (2) uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes

    (3) restart computer and phone probably 29856 times

    (4) device Manager... nothing comes up at all, not even the unknown device. RARELY the unknown device comes up, then I get a "Code 10: this device cannot start" error, but it is * in a handbasket just trying to get to THIS point! and IF I do what they say to do to correct a code 10 (uninstall all USB and restart the computer, then USB devices hook to the top one at a time), so I'm now at my problem of a communication that don't meet pluse between my phone and PC

    5) tried to the registry editor, but not "upper filters" option rises

    (6) virtually every other option on this thread of 5 pages iphone not recognized by Windows 7

    Help, please?

The USB port of your laptop does not provide sufficient power to recharge the phone. It is a hardware problem with your laptop, not the phone.

  • 12 switch can charge via USB 3.1?

12 switch can be charged via USB 3.1?  Some descriptions are vague and all the answers I've found are for previous models.  It would be nice to have a not-so-awkward option for charging on the go.

No, the power adapter is 19V 45W, the USB port is 5V.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Storm2 battery

Hello. I've had my BB Storm2 for about 5 months now, and the battery has always been pretty bad, and full load, it only takes 6-7 hours standby... Is there a way to preserve the life of the battery? I turn GPS off, vibrate off the coast, I would turn off my wifi but I need it on. Slow apps are also turned off when not in use. Should I just replace the battery...?

I would like to know it that this problem could be corrected if I send it to a phone repair shop to get fixed because I don't want to change my phone that I got it 6 months. I would like you to tell me if it could be fixed. Thank you.

    Hi kirstylou,

Well, it can be fixed, but still, if you are looking for another solution, then I think using an external battery charger can solve your problem, but before that, please try this: organize a good BlackBerry fully charged battery and then test it on your device to see that the problem is only limited to this alone and nothing else was touched.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 9650 on network via laptop Get

Thank you for taking the time to read my question.

I wonder if it is possible to get my Blackberry on the LAN to my office through my laptop. Maybe connected to my laptop via USB or Bluetooth. What I have is how to get my laptop on the internet via tethering with my Blackberry.

I have a wireless router at home and can get my Blackberry on this network (wifi), but my office doesn't have a wireless access point, and I would like to know if I can still get my Blackberry on the internet like that.

    Thanks again for your time.

    Brad

You must have a Wifi card wireless in your laptop and connect to your BlackBerry via WiFi.

There is not a data cable or bleuthooth connection.

  • Screensaver blackBerry Smartphones change battery recharge

Currently when I plug my phone into the charger, the clock app is displayed by default. Is it possible to change this default? Also are there any apps that display graphically the amount of battery charge? I'd rather have a screensaver than a battery clock screensaver.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

At the clock tower when load open the clock > touch menu > options > place when charging > do nothing > save > output.

I know a 'Battery-info' from Toysoft ranked app. $.099 in AppWorld.

I'm not endorse as I have not used, and I don't know there are other applications as well.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones, the battery life of my phone was a question of 1 day. It's a landline phone still connected to the charger to work.

    Hello

Will knidly you help me with my phones battery life because I tried to disable the updates so they don't use my phones battery?

I had to update my phone, but I doubt it will be a blackberry because of this problem.

    Thank you.

    What updates?

are you sure this isn't an application?

On device, go to Options, device, application management is a great way to see what your applications with your use of the CPU on Smartphone. Simply drag bar greater than CPU and see what happens. Also touch the CPU menu to see other time variables. I discovered that an application has been eroding CPU cycles on my own

Disable Compression on the memory card? go to Options, device, storage

using a custom theme? Try it for a day that factory by default to avoid your theme

remember the ESC key to close most applications, with the exception of GPS and some chat clients. other applications must use the menu and then exit or close. The key furthest to the right is a key to the House and does not close on its own apps, but will put an end to the calls.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to charge the battery of the playbook

Received a playbook as a gift and it will not charge - the message indicates low battery level and asks to connect to the power source (it is) that can do what the device does not load?

Plug the device into the charger, Journal BlackBerry upward. Make sure that you use the charger supplied with the Playbook as a standard phone charger BlackBerry will not work.

If it still doesn't work can you plug the charger on another device and see if it perceives the other device? We need to determine if it is the charger or the Playbook.

  • Used blackBerry Smartphones phone fully charge

Right, earlier this evening, my phone is slow, and the black box you get sometimes kept appearing so I took out the battery, when he went to reload it stopped at 3/4 and has been blocked since. Ive tried to remove the battery longer, without success, it also won't let me put in safe mode.

Ive loaded the application wizard, the following message appeared 'the blackberry desktop software doesn't have a blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or administrator. "What does it mean and what can I do about it? Im confused because I have not downloaded anything for months, does not something different on my phone, it just happen out of the blue.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be really useful, thanks.

You may need to reload the OS from scratch.  However, if you have all the backups, with BB Protect or using desktop software, your data will be gone.  Here are the instructions to do this.   If it was me I would let stand overnight first, plugged into the charger before you do the following:

    1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    2. it's not bad to do a manual of your device first, backup using the Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. You can get the BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

    3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also, check the following locations for the vendor.xml file and delete all instances of the file:

On Windows Vista/7, go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research in XML Motion\BlackBerry\Loader (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

    5. If you simply update the operating system to a newer version, skip this step. If making a clean OS reloads use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then go to the next step.

    6. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Green battery light

Hi, I just bought the blackberry 9000 and I noticed that as soon as I charged the battery, it still has this green light flashing at the top of the cell phone. This intermittent light is annoying and I want to get rid of, is this normal?

The flashing green light is the indicator of network signal, if you want to disable this, go to menu, options, screen/keyboard, change the light cover off.

I have a Blackberry Curve 8300.  He can not keep a charge for more than 8 hours, if that.  Tried a new charger, tried a new battery.  Cool phone, but will not hold the charge and the battery runs out without delay.

At the risk of stepping on the toes of Bill J, if go into Options > Applications > third you can top light and with the button menu click the delete option in the list.
