BlackBerry smartphones, hold a Charge

I have a Blackberry Curve 8300.  He can not keep a charge for more than 8 hours, if that.  Tried a new charger, tried a new battery.  Cool phone, but will not hold the charge and the battery runs out without delay.

At the risk of stepping on the toes of Bill J, if go into Options > Applications > third you can top light and with the button menu click the delete option in the list.

  • BlackBerry Torch 9800 Blackberry Smartphones will stay charged for 24 hours

My BB Torch was working fine until last week when I noticed that he couldn't hold a charge for very long.  I bought a new battery of BB FS1 and replaced it.  The phone works again, but the new battery within 24 hours.  I don't have a data plan so I don't use the phone one or two times a day to make our reception of calls and I search for addresses, check the calendar and review the task list so it is very light to use.  Anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do to extend the life of the battery lasts longer?

Thanks for the quick response.  I tried all your suggestions and one of them worked.  I don't know which, but my battery is now holding a charge even for a few days.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Priv Wireless charging

I just read that the Blackberry Priv sold by companies to the Canada has no wireless charge.  This is my first Blackberry phone and I bought it because it seemed that it is an amazing phone, but also because I wanted to support a Canadian company.  When I read the card, he said he had the support wireless but now I find this is not the case. I got Samsung phones for years and the new include Wireless charging.  I was ready for a higher price for the Priv because I liked the features - and most of all it IS A COMPANY OF CANADA!

I already have the phone... I am able to negotiate that has wireless charging.   I'm feeling a little ripped off the coast that this has not been stated when I bought the phone - because it's an important feature that has been removed from phones sold in the Canada.  I can't understand why a Canadian company would do it quietly to Canadian customers.

So my question once again; Can I return Priv I just buy and get a BlackBerry directly who is responsible wireless?

PS - I love the private (but all models must have a wireless charging for the price we paid)

  • BlackBerry smartphones HELP! Charger port a is released.

I would like to know it that this problem could be corrected if I send it to a phone repair shop to get fixed because I don't want to change my phone that I got it 6 months. I would like you to tell me if it could be fixed. Thank you.

    Hi kirstylou,

Well, it can be fixed, but still, if you are looking for another solution, then I think using an external battery charger can solve your problem, but before that, please try this: organize a good BlackBerry fully charged battery and then test it on your device to see that the problem is only limited to this alone and nothing else was touched.

  • Used blackBerry Smartphones phone fully charge

Right, earlier this evening, my phone is slow, and the black box you get sometimes kept appearing so I took out the battery, when he went to reload it stopped at 3/4 and has been blocked since. Ive tried to remove the battery longer, without success, it also won't let me put in safe mode.

Ive loaded the application wizard, the following message appeared 'the blackberry desktop software doesn't have a blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or administrator. "What does it mean and what can I do about it? Im confused because I have not downloaded anything for months, does not something different on my phone, it just happen out of the blue.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be really useful, thanks.

You may need to reload the OS from scratch.  However, if you have all the backups, with BB Protect or using desktop software, your data will be gone.  Here are the instructions to do this.   If it was me I would let stand overnight first, plugged into the charger before you do the following:

    1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    2. it's not bad to do a manual of your device first, backup using the Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. You can get the BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

    3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also, check the following locations for the vendor.xml file and delete all instances of the file:

On Windows Vista/7, go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research in XML Motion\BlackBerry\Loader (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

    5. If you simply update the operating system to a newer version, skip this step. If making a clean OS reloads use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then go to the next step.

    6. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to charge the battery of the playbook

Received a playbook as a gift and it will not charge - the message indicates low battery level and asks to connect to the power source (it is) that can do what the device does not load?

Plug the device into the charger, Journal BlackBerry upward. Make sure that you use the charger supplied with the Playbook as a standard phone charger BlackBerry will not work.

If it still doesn't work can you plug the charger on another device and see if it perceives the other device? We need to determine if it is the charger or the Playbook.

  • How blackBerry Smartphones at NO charge via USB each time connect to PC

Hi, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to always load BB when connecting to the PC.   Therefore, I'm trying to find an option, do NOT charge the battery when connecting in the hope that it will extend the life of the battery.   How to proceed, please...

Thank you very much in advance.

There is not a way. Good load and overflow of these Li-ion batteries.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones battery not charging

    Hello

Someone had the right battery give on the Blackberry "BOLD"?  Mine is fairly new - about a month old.  Last night, it took 24 hours to load and today the symbol of loading was turned on, but she did not.  I took the battery and still nothing.  Can I go to an ATT store and buy a new battery or is it a symptom of something more serious.  Thank you!

    Jane

If you bought the device on ATT Store, the unit is under warranty, ask for a replacement.

  • Slow blackBerry Smartphone Super battery charges via USB

I noticed that when I charge the phone using the wall charger, it will achieve a full charge in about an hour.  USB charging takes however as three hours.  Why is this?

Two or three hours I guess. Of course, it will depend on your level of battery at the beginning. I just plug mine every night in a wall outlet, have scheduled Quickpull to run at 4:30, and I have a fully charged device and reset every morning.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones when to charge my BlackBerry?

I have a BlackBerry 9300, I just want to know when is the best time you recharge the phone. One of my friends told me that I can load it whenever I want and I do not need to wait for it to go to 15% or 10%. Another friend told me that I can load it only when it is almost dead.

Help, please! I don't want to take good care of my battery, so it will be not defective in a few months. Thank you!

Have you tried removing the battery for a few minutes, then replace to see if will charge then?

  • BlackBerry smartphones when I charge the phone, the keyboard and the screen is always lit

    I have 2 problems, the first is that when I load the phone screen and kaey pad are always as I {m using the phone, the screen never gets dark, what's wrong with my phone? what can I do?}

The second problem is with my battery when I charge the phone it last me only 1 day and it supposed to last 9 days standby according to the specifications of the phone, I recharged during the night and in the morning with no use to 90% and it is last up to half of the day.

I'm not sure of the backlight staying on during the load, but on the second issue, you have probably some applications running in the background.

Remove the battery and restart the device, see how it keeps the burden.

  • Phone of blackBerry Smartphones will not charge in the areas at room temperature

    Hi all

Is it normal if my phone blocking load once loaded into the areas at room temperature? Thank you

In most electronic devices, the load will stop if it detects that the battery is above normal temperatures for safety. I imagine that the BB has this backup as well.
