Used blackBerry Smartphones phone fully charge

Right, earlier this evening, my phone is slow, and the black box you get sometimes kept appearing so I took out the battery, when he went to reload it stopped at 3/4 and has been blocked since. Ive tried to remove the battery longer, without success, it also won't let me put in safe mode.

Ive loaded the application wizard, the following message appeared 'the blackberry desktop software doesn't have a blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or administrator. "What does it mean and what can I do about it? Im confused because I have not downloaded anything for months, does not something different on my phone, it just happen out of the blue.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be really useful, thanks.

You may need to reload the OS from scratch.  However, if you have all the backups, with BB Protect or using desktop software, your data will be gone.  Here are the instructions to do this.   If it was me I would let stand overnight first, plugged into the charger before you do the following:

1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

2. it's not bad to do a manual of your device first, backup using the Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. You can get the BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also, check the following locations for the vendor.xml file and delete all instances of the file:

On Windows Vista/7, go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research in XML Motion\BlackBerry\Loader (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

5. If you simply update the operating system to a newer version, skip this step. If making a clean OS reloads use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then go to the next step.

6. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader

I would like you to tell me if it could be fixed. Thank you.

    Hi kirstylou,

Well, it can be fixed, but still, if you are looking for another solution, then I think using an external battery charger can solve your problem, but before that, please try this: organize a good BlackBerry fully charged battery and then test it on your device to see that the problem is only limited to this alone and nothing else was touched.

  • BlackBerry smartphone phone off and won't come back

Hi, two days ago my Blackberry Curve ran out of charge and Won ' t back lights. When I load it, the phone turns on indicating that the current passes through, but it just won't come back. A minor and independent, it's that when it still worked, I couldn't download Whatsapp. Please help if you have an idea of what might happen. The device never fell down

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones phone freezes

    Hello

I installed the Blackberry World accuweather app on my torch 9800 the latest version of the OS 6. After the reboot, when I tried to open the my phone application restarted. I went to uninstall in the world of blackberry and the phone froze. So I just thought that I hide the application and do not use it. However, not even run the my phone application crashes after 2 minutes. The only resolution is a battery pull, which buys me then for 2 minutes. I tried to use blackberry desktop to solve the problem but the phone freeze as soon as it connects to the blackberry desktop.

When I say phone freeze, I would say. I get the spinning clock symbol and that's all. It ran for 25 minutes before the last drawing of battery. Help! any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior ceases, then try to delete the application in Mode safe.

But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

What you need to do is to find, on your PC, the IPD file created when you backed up. Search your entire hard drive *. IPD. Then use this file as the source of a restoration of your new BB (choose ONE of these KB, depending on the version of the RIM Desktop software you have already installed on your PC):

    • KB23680 How to back up and restore data from BlackBerry using BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0 smartphone
    • KB10339 How to use BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3 to 5.0.1 to restore data from a BlackBerry smartphone from a backup file

  • BlackBerry Smartphones phone won't boot to the top

I downloaded a few applications to Blackberry World on my night of phone. One was booster. When I tried to open it I got an error message saying something about Java, and after failed attempts to open it, I deleted it. The other was AP Reader. I just tried to open it for the first time this morning. When I clicked on it, the phone started to reboot. He took an unusually long time to restart, then I put down and came back some time later. When I picked up, he seemed to be in the off position. I tried to turn it back on but nothing happened. So I took the battery out and put back. The fire came, stayed on a minute or two, but instead of booting, the phone is off again. I tried to remove the SIM card as well as the battery and then replace both, but he got the same results. I can't even reset the phone to default settings because I can't seem to start. Help! What can I do?

Sometimes you gotta try some variations... If you have tried only twice, you did not probably not enough variations. I remember a device where I had to wait for the touchscreen to become active, hold down the ESCAPE key for about 50% of the loading bar, release, then press and hold again close to 80% to 90%. A strange sequence, but it worked for me.

If you don't want to keep trying, your only recourse will be more drastic... I hope you have a good backup, as it is unlikely that you will be able to get one now.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

  • Using blackBerry Smartphones, unlock and 'edge' next to signal

I bought a used blackberry bold 9700 (locked to t-mobile) I received and code release and it worked. I now have my ATT sim inside the phone card. It allows me to sms and browse internet, telephone etc. But at the top it says 'edge '. However, it won't let me set up an email that he said "your device had a problem connecting to the server"... Also not show the BB app world, or let me download apps. Can someone please help me if I can use the blackberry, the way it was intended. As another note, I get a text from 1121611611 + message saying "122 error number not valid. Please return using the valid or valid 10-digit mobile number short code. Activate t = 6 "... I hope this is enough information to get help, if y ' all need nothing else to help fully solve this problem, ask and I will provide. Thank you

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider? You have to, to get the push RIM email functions you are looking for, as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

Please note, using a 9700 on ATT Tmobile you will not get a 3G signal, and 'EDGE' is the best you can expect. Two different carriers use two different bandwidths of 3G, but share the same bands 'EDGE '.

It is my understanding that the SMS you receive is linked to the former 5Favs from TMobile on the device or the visual voicemail on the device.

First, to get your installer of data get your BlackBerry BIS data plan for the device, then we will deal with this SMS message later, if it persists.

  • Slow blackBerry Smartphone Super battery charges via USB

I noticed that when I charge the phone using the wall charger, it will achieve a full charge in about an hour.  USB charging takes however as three hours.  Why is this?

Two or three hours I guess. Of course, it will depend on your level of battery at the beginning. I just plug mine every night in a wall outlet, have scheduled Quickpull to run at 4:30, and I have a fully charged device and reset every morning.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

A few things to discuss... so bear with me...

    (1) contrary to others how things, RIM does not provide desktop PIM. Others force you to use their PIM and only their PIM. RIM provides a driving software that works as a bridge between your PIM and the BB. See this compatible PIM KB:

    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

    (2) RIM provides a device switch Wizard to migrate from another SmartPhone to a BB... but only for compatible devices. See this KB:

    • KB05459 How to use the switch device Wizard to switch to another smartphone to a BlackBerry smartphone

    (3) If your old phone is not compatible with the wizard, then RIM more offers the possibility to import ASCII and CSV files. See this KB:

    • KB04312 Create and synchronize with an ASCII export file
KB11194 How to import contacts from a CSV file to the BlackBerry
    • Sorry, but RIM does no research on how to get your data from your old device and in ASCII format or CSV... it is a function of your old device.

So your choice is, IMO, to continue to use a desktop PIM for your data (and you should, IMO)... then choose a compatible PIM (from above). Then download your data from your old device and the PIM Office. Next, configure the BB to sync with the PIM:

KB13003"JVM 513" error message appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

From a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • Memory of the blackBerry Smartphones phone wiped after update - HELP!

    Hello

I've just updated my blackberry software after that my computer asked me if I'd like to. Horror - the list of phonebook / contact (700 + phone numbers) has been completely gutted outside those who have e-mail addresses recorded. I need their return!

New sms format also means that I can't write the empty texts without specifying a recipient first and I can't add contacts to my directory of the text message - I have to call them, hang up and go from there. Can I revert to the software I was using before that it was better miles and had my numbers!

    Help please! See you soon

HI and welcome to the Forums!

Via this procedure, you can install (upgrade, downgrade, reload) any bundle of BONES that is your BB model number:

As you can see, it treats make a backup of your data before proceeding. When you did the update that you have been asked, he would have to offer to make a backup before he proceeded and then it should automatically did a restore when it was over. Something seems to have this, but I hope that the backup was already taken. Search your entire hard drive for files with the extension of the RPI (*.) IPD). Check the date and time of the results... the most recent is probably your best bet and if all goes well, was taken during the update. Use it as a source for restoring:

    Hello

    I have a Blackberry 9720.

    1. I want to know why my phone stop ringing when I pick it up to answer?

    2. How can I me it ring any longer because she sounds for such a short time?

    Thank you very much

    Barbara

    Barbara,

    1. I don't know why what is happening but reloading your operating system using BlackBerry Desktop Software should fix this. To reload your operating system, plug your phone into COMICS on your PC and click on the device in the upper part of the COMICS, and then click Backup. Once you have made a backup, click device once more but this time click on restore and select the file that you just created and load. If you had a touch screen, I'd say you're probably touch the screen which would negate the ringtone, but because your phone is not a touchscreen, this doesn't apply.

2-call MTN for contribution to this issue. It is your operator that controls for how many time your phone rings and they can set it to go as long as 30 seconds if you ask.

    I hope that helps you.
