  Can you please tell us what drivers have updated you and why? What was wrong with the old drivers?

  When you start your next portable speakers test time using preinstalled Toshiba diagnostic tool and post the result here.

  What about the temperature of the laptop. 80 c is high temperature but still not critical, and if your mobile phone is placed correctly on the desktop and the cooling fans are not blocked I think you can continue to play the games.

  I have a song that I would like to remix and I all set beat matching.  When I go to slow down the audio I lose my bearings.  Is there anyway that I can keep the sections that I beat matched and slow down the audio so these sections remain?

  For example, that the song is 120bpm and I have this rhythm corresponded perfectly.  If I have a loop of 4 bars and slow down the audio I have more 4 perfect bars.  I want to be able to slow down the audio and still have my bars 4 faultless.

• Satellite P100-286 - video RAM shared with RAM system

  I have a satellite P100-286 - PSPAGE (T7200 @ 2 GHz, 2 GB DDR2, Gef7900GS) and I noticed that some of the RAM (exactly 271MB) was reserved for the graphics card.

  I think that the graphics card has enough memory with its 512 MB, so I don't want to have a part of my RAM to be reserved for the Geforce. I have not found the way to reassign this small part of the system in the bios, and it is independent of the OS (I use Vista and debian and I see the booking even on memtest86) so I ve tried to flash with the latest BIOS but no change.

  Is there a way to 'recover' my memory?

  It seems that there is no error, but there is no sound even if the sound card, the "HDA Intel", seems to work perfectly, even with the latest updates of the kernel and alsa.

  Unfortunately you can not affect the amount of memory shared by yourself since it is regulated by the BIOS/Chipset and depends on the amount of main memory that is installed.

  As far as I know that the shared memory is allocated flexible, which means that if a graphical application needs a graphics memory more then the system returns to the 271 MB shared memory. That's what I know of my machine... but I don't know, it might be different on other models.

• Why my iMac 27 "slows down with Sierra?

  I'm running an iMac 27 "(fin 2012) with 32 GB of RAM drive and 3 TB of fusion." Before loading to Sierra, Adobe InDesign CS6 launched and ran fast as most of the data have been stored in the partition of the flash player. After the installation of Sierra, I noticed the app stops or slows down when I click on the items in the Panel and I get the spinning wheel. Is it because Sierra sends data to Cloud Drive when I'm online, or is something else operating here? It is most annoying. I'll try to clear the caches etc. but I don't know what is happening.

  I always forget to 'CONTROL THE FONTS'. I use FontExplorer Pro to make sure that I only have the necessary fonts to work.   I only saw several videos one at a time on Xhamster.com , but after a few videos on the quad Win 7 system, they slow down to no visible (not buffering problem, put in continuous buffer), then after about 30 minutes to an hour, they go back to normal. This does not happen on my quad XP system. If I restart Firefox after that it works normally, I go through the same problem as on the quadruple Win 7 system.

  I think I took the easy way. I just uninstall Firefox and then downloaded and reinstalled and everything just to add Video DownloadHelper. It seems to have worked. I just did an extended test and do not slow down the.

  I bought my laptop in August 2006 and a year after that I installed an another 1 GB on top of 256 MB provided with the laptop. After installing the RAM my PC started restarting on games and recently on the videos. I checked the two memory with memtest86, but they were OK. I asked the service of Toshiba in my country that they said could be overheating maybe by the dust and it probably needs to be cleaned. I checked with SpeedFan application, it detects ACPI temperature which was 75 and HDD temperature 44 C.

  It's because of the temperature, either because the memory RAM 2 does not work with each other? What should I do?

  I assume that the laptop restarts due to the faulty RAM memory!
  A few days ago my laptop 5 years began to freezes and restarts.
  I cleaned the fan and applied new thermal grease to the CPU. Without being properly ;(

  Finally, I have to delete one of the two rams which are plugged in my laptop and since then everything is ok.
  Please note that I have also tested the RAM with the Memtest86 and received no errors!
  So I wouldn't try this application!

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I saw your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook g7 and the problem with the speed. Here's a document on improving your system.

  Make sure that all updates are completed within the control panel or click the Windows key and start typing the laptop settings, then go to update.

  You could try a refresh of Windows 8. Please read the entire document before performing. This could restore all the settings on the PC.

  Here is a link to faq support with steam. They might have a solution to this problem.

  I have searched the forum and read many responses and tried a number of proposed solutions and am coming at the end of my tether. My voice can be added to the chorus of 'Lightroom CC short miserably slow'. For me in the past few days the specific problem that was after about 10-15 minutes of use LR slows down and becomes unstable, requiring a Windows 'end of task"command. This happened earlier while I was working in the library module, re-keywording within a collection that contains about 500 photos. Selection of about 20 photos and remove them from the collection set LR kneeling. Other operations that cause slowdowns are publish and export measures. But even during the selection of 3 or 4 pictures in order to apply the keywords a second ago or two of delay before the photo is selected, even when I just started LR - and the longest LR is open, the slower, he gets. It's AGONIZING.
