video slows down after watching several videos on Win 7 but not XP

I only saw several videos one at a time on Xhamster.com , but after a few videos on the quad Win 7 system, they slow down to no visible (not buffering problem, put in continuous buffer), then after about 30 minutes to an hour, they go back to normal. This does not happen on my quad XP system. If I restart Firefox after that it works normally, I go through the same problem as on the quadruple Win 7 system.

I think I took the easy way. I just uninstall Firefox and then downloaded and reinstalled and everything just to add Video DownloadHelper. It seems to have worked. I just did an extended test and do not slow down the.

Because Norton is a Devourer of resources. I would say deleting and using a user-friendly program over Windows.

I used to use Avast in conjunction with Windows Defender, (still a decent option), but since MSE became of age, I have used which. MSE is an anti-virus, Anti-Spyware and Anti-Malware program all in one. IMO, it is a program MS got it wrong. And all of these options are freeware.

If you choose to give it a try, download and save the MSE. Remove Norton and install MSE.

    Hello

You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Step 1: Please make all underneath the same if you've done it before as it's often the total of the process which
    solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

  • Video slows down after playing for awhile on my HP 15 - D041TU (no problem heat as well)

I bought this new laptop from the store, it came with freedos and I installed windows 7 64 bit and service pack two institutions then I installed VLC Player, player of SM & Daum Pot player just to use on my video observation on the day the day.  Well, everything works perfectly fine except that when I play the video for a while, it started to slow down, it works fine otherwise. It starts somewhere around 30 minutes and beyond. I tried with all the players, and this happens with BlueRay rips I which is HD video. Whats happening people? is this not enough powerful computer to play an HD movie? If she then I'm really in big trouble, because the main reason for me to buy it was to watch movies and surf the Internet. If I'm not one of them on this it's really bad for me . What causes this? Anyone have this problem? I watch movies connected to ca all the time and balance power profile. I also look in the standard settings of the player. The machine has 2 GB of Ram and processor Celeron 2810 n. Is this a problem with windows 7?

DerekQ, being a PhD studen I respect that, but I don't understand all the interest you're going. I know he has windows 7 drivers, and to be honest some of them actually does not work with the system. I already found a solution, and I also found a solution to my problem of video playback.

Solution to the problem is VSYNC disable in the player and the video plays perfectly fine.

Yes, of course, it's my problem, otherwise why would HP nag about it?. So the solution is itself the problem and I hope that this thread helps people who are getting the same problem in the future.

  • Playback stops after a few seconds when streaming, slows down after a few seconds, when I look at D/L had video offline.

    Hi all

I'm having a bit of a hairy problem - * ANY * video streaming, whether it be HTML5 or Flash stops after a number of seconds (rare) seemingly random.  YouTube, I sometimes get a buffer wheel to turn constantly, sometimes nothing.  On Facebook or other sites, nothing happens - freeze just a video.  Internet high speed or bandwidth is not a problem - 50/50 FiOS here.  Sound œuvres until frost.

I tried to download videos in FLV Downloader, but when I look in the Media Player, they slow down until they are very bad after a period similar to the streaming video.  His work sometimes until the downturn, sometimes does not at all.  VLC plays the video at the right speed, but without the sound.

I tried deleting and re-installing flash player, run a restore point when the video was working and all the other stuff I tried, but nothing worked and I'm stuck.  I have no idea how to solve this problem.  It happened randomly yesterday (apparently).

If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate a helping hand.  I am a student that takes about half of its classes online, so without flash or HTML5 video, I'm in all sorts of trouble.

    Thank you

    Matt

    * edit * on a whim, I just open Spotify to see if that would work.  No bone.  Nothing plays.  Not at all.  The music does not play in Media Player, (local or streaming)

Well, it seems I solved the question - I have no idea why this is happening.  I have a Logitech G35 Headset.  Sometimes when I restart Windows, I get sound out of it (usually noticed during a Skype call).  If I unplug and re - connect the headset, everything is hunky-dory with the sound and Skype.

I just had to do, and when I did, all the videos and other media began to work very well.

    I'm cursed confused.

  • After being opened for a while (with several tabs) Firefox does generally and repeatedly play a sound - video will play again, but not sound.

This problem started happening only recently. I often keep my Firefox open all night with sites like rainymood.com or grooveshark.com playing, as well as several other tabs, including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit. Sometimes, after a few hours/days to not restart Firefox or my computer, Firefox starts to become insensitive - i.e., pages take a long time to load, opening new tabs is difficult for the browser and videos will have up to 30 seconds to start playing. In addition, the sound stops playing. If I start a YouTube video, after the initial period of excessive load, the video will play, but without any audio. Also, sites such as rainymood.com and grooveshark, even Facebook, stop sound.

Note that this is different from an incident of flash plugin - when flash falls down, the audio and video become inaccessible and a simple refresh or restart of Firefox will solve the problem. But what is happening here is different; If I refresh the tab, nothing changes, and even if I restart Firefox, it opens the same way again until I restart my computer completely.

Also of note: I had, in the past, this same thing happens, but rainymood.com continued to play, however no other tabs would make sound. The problem is sporadic and I don't know where to start. Also, sometimes it's only a problem of Firefox specific, which means other programs on my computer can make sounds, but sometimes this problem makes my computer all stop making sounds, with the exception of Ventrilo, which works, but is also insensitive in the beginning.

  • I7 quad PC, 12 GB RAM, 64-bit slows down after several click operations

My usual assembled quad i7 PC is about a year old.  I had a recurring problem of the working speed using the mouse during video editing.  The first mouse functions start clicks quickly to the Premier Pro and other Creative Suite CS5 software.  However, after only several mouse clicks, nothing appears to register.  After a short time, mouse clicks become active again but the PC becomes slow.  It was recommended that I check with Adobe to confirm that my system complies with the specifications of the Creative Suite CS5.  As far as I know, the system exceeds the specifications of the software box.  I fear that one of the RAM modules may not be meeting the specifications for speed.  How can I check this for the following configuration or other suggestions?

  • Satellite P35-S605 slows down after a few minutes, then BSOD

I am running Windows XP Pro and have contributed the most to the RAM on my P35.

I had a local computer repair shop disassemble, clean all the dust and junk on, remove the processor and reinstall using thermal transfer compound. The computer has worked fine until I did this. When I came back and turned it on it started OK but started to slow down until the barley by working, and then I got the BSOD. After the memory dump, it restarted and repeat the process. After having tried several reboots, I finally gave up and called the computer repair shop I had used and returned to them. After a day, they said, it must be my drive hard because they replaced my hard drive with one of their and he ran all night with no problems. I had an old hard drive that I had removed from this machine, a few weeks before to move to a bigger so I put the old back road. The same problem remained. I again called the repair shop and told them what I had done, but they said they couldn't help me. I'm not recommedn this shop to anyone.

I was myself so after that reading many articles on the Internet, I desided to try to fix it myself. I erased the hard disk using a set 0 wipe the program. I did a disk image using Acronis before I took the computer to the repair shop, so I have restored the image. I still have the same problem!

  • Computer slowed down after updates

A home computer using Vista premium with current updates began to slow down about 30 days ago.  After a normal start (about one minute) to power, the system seems to stop.  No CPU activity and a bit of disk activity.  Sometimes, keyboard and mouse die requiring a re - start.  Problem seems to go away after about 30 to 50 minutes of no apparent activity. • Asks the plugin noise reduction effect-made clip jerky and slow down after application?

I apply an effect - the neat video Plugin to reduce noise. for some reason when I apply the effect, playback of the clip is really slow and jerky. Why is this?

    Hi Dragonsfire,

I'm looking at the rendering time and it's extremely slow, like the clip is 30 secs long 2mins but render time estimate is like 3 hours! My laptop is not the fastest, but it is not no more ancient. Any suggestions on the reduction to make time-no understood them with a much more powerful computer!

You have met one of the intensive more rendered effects on the stage of post-production. Sorry if you think that something goes wrong. Likely, that's fine, except that it takes very long time to process images with that plugin.

Here are some tips on the neat video forum:

The real rendering for your clip speed should be around approximately 2 images per second. This value seems normal for a HD (1920 x 1080) image size and material to the average (you don't mention your hardware specifications). You can speed up a bit by disabling some of these filter options:

    • disable the very low freq, high quality options
    • some of the fixed noise reduction in some or all channels amounts (luminance / chrominance or Y/Cr/Cb) and/or ranges of frequency at 0%
    • reduction of the time filter RADIUS
    • disable the option of adaptive filtering

These measures allow the filter a little faster, but at the expense of the quality of filtration reduced. Noise reduction is usually a compromise between quality and processing speed. When you need good quality, it makes sense to give some time to the process with the top of the settings page. When that is not necessary, you can use a less accurate and more rapid filtration.

    Thank you

  • Embedded video plays on PC but not Mac

As the King of Siam said: "it's a surprise."

I update a site and have incorporated a .mov from YouTube channel of the customer using the < iframe > code of YouTube favorite. Here's the URL: http://www.realcosmetics.com/ourStory.html.

The video will play in all the browsers on my Win7 PC (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera and IE which emule also IE7 and IE8). He played also on the friends PC that I asked to be tested. He will not play on any Mac where we tested the page. [FYI, the .mov file was edited on a Mac and he plays it.]

It will play on Macs, however, of the YouTube channel. And the guy who built the integrated Facebook the same video on a tab page using the old YouTube < object > < embed > code. Test Mac have no problem playing the video of the FB page.

So, I tried switching the old < object > < embed >. Still do not play on the Mac, so I restored the iframe code.

Which is totally confusing, it's that I've recently embedded YouTube videos on another site using YouTube < iframe > code and the customer can play those on Macs. Both pages use the same DOCTYPE (XHTML 1.0) Transitional and the code copied from YouTube. Valid page (after I removed the allowfullscreen switch which tell W3C was not valid under the DOCTYPE).

I searched online through forums and threads of solutions, and while I found several that seem to work for one person but not another (having to do with the evolution of the Mac preferences, etc.), none of these solutions worked on the Mac test.

Any ideas of your wonderful gurus? The answer may be to look me in the face, but he can not see to have looked for so long. The only difference between this request and the precedent I can think is that the host servers are not the same company.

Thank you for thinking about it!

    Chris

You have no positioning on the DIV (s) who hold the video so your position: relative on

is forced to sit on top of the iFrame - not allowing access to the video. Adjust the CSS for the video DIVs and DIV text and it should sort. You can test it by deleting the text of the div class - the video will play.

    Mac OSX 10.7.3

    Firefox 11.0

EDIT: / / to correct, remove all the position: relative to the div and also the float: left. This is not required. But keep float: left in the #vidFrame only.
