Is anyone having problems with this forum being slow to load pages? Yesterday and today, it was EXTREMELY, OUTRAGEOUSLY slow. Nothing else seems to be, but I don't know if it's me or the site... I'm just the developer report working in detriment IT... you kind of network are wizards. Thanks to relieve my frustration of let me know one way or another.

Yes, I see the slowness. I guess that's the fault of Adobe servers, as I see in many forums here, but not to LightroomForums.Net and other non Adobe forums I read.

Something is in preparation to accelerate the Labs forums? In my view, there are often 5 to 10 seconds by the operation of the user and it really does a lot less useful forums.
The forums have been slower than normal recently; We are looking at the issues and considering alternative technologies. Internal teams that support discussions within these forums are performed as well. Please bare with us as we try to improve performance.

I agree with the Lightroom forae. Compared to forae from other manufacturers, they are extremely slow when loading.

I read the help forums and I've tried everything, and yet Firefox is still slow can I do?
I had problems with Firefox for about a week and no matter what I do nothing help to repair. I tried to reset firefox and it did not help, I went on several articles and nothing helps. I tried to disable plugins troubleshotting and even things in my computer and it does not help. I'm pretty stuck I can not go on a site without it being slow and to have it load slowly, it takes 20 minutes to load at halfway and that's the truth, I can't understand wat to do I have tried literally everything.

- You see the pages loading slowly also on other browsers (IE or Google Chrome or Opera)?
- You see this on the latest version too. I see that you are running on Firefox 25.0. Can you try updating Firefox 25.01 to see if that helps. 25.01 Firefox Release Notes mention a problem where loads pages until the mouse cursor is moved
- All sites that you visit have this problem, or only some of them?
If you can help us with this information, it will be useful to the narrowing of the question.

typing slow firefox 12 support forum
My web pages updated very well and my scroll bars go up and down fast enough. But typing in multiple text boxes is far too slow. This text box as I type right now is an example. I'm often typing 10 and 20 characters long to come on the display text and I don't type particularly quickly. It takes a long time to step the cursor in the text to correct errors, even if mouse clicks do not change the position of the cursor quickly. I also have this problem with several other text boxes.
I looked in the notes of support for help and found a recommendation to restore the Firefox default state. However, when I got to the top of the troubleshooting information page, there is no "reset" button This problem occurred when I updated to 3.6 12.0. I am running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. I think I'm on a 32-bit processor. '86' stuff I run the update of Java 6 32.

Please try to disable hardware acceleration in firefox to see if that makes a difference. to do this, go to tools > options > advanced > general

Hello, so I would first start by saying that I am no computer or the apple guru, I am aware of the basic information of base etc, but nothing close to tip at all.
I'm running on a:
iMac (27-inch, mid 2010)
Processor: 3.2 GHz Inel Core i3
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Boot disk: Macintosh HD
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 MB
I used to play a LOT of downloadable games online and spent a lot of time on the game forums and work of moderator for some of them.
Now, I use my Mac for the research I am now doing some GCSE and have more time for games
I started noticing that the mac is pretty slow, it has so many applications and files, screenshots, documents and downloads, I managed to sort downloads and put them in the trash can manually but it has not seemed to have made any difference at all. Im not sure how many RAM I have used or something like that. I have apps like MacKeeper etc. And realized that I should probably delete after reading through the community here, so I simply drag the application to the trash and deleted from the Recycle Bin? Is this all I need to do?
Some tips on how I can speed up my Mac?
Or simple checks to be performed that will tell me if there are problems?

My computer is slow, and after having poking around, I see that Etrecheck could help diagnose the problem. I ran the program but I don't know what mean results. I hope that someone more experienced will know how to interpret and direct me in the right direction. I also ran the Apple Hardware Test and came with a very clear.

2 reasons that I see at a single glance, you have installed MacKeeper Malware, did the uninstall instructions and uninstall. Also, your Crashplan backup system is designed for continuous operation and is known to make slow systems. I would not recommend the use of this system or this time by backup only when you are not using the computer. Many users on these forums use local HD and Time Machine and then another external hard drive to create a clone of their system bootable using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper.
Finally, you have purchased a basic applications iMac system and driving high powered (using resources). Type to buy a scooter 10HP and he expects to go to commute 250 miles a day at 80 mph. It will simply not do!

Why Mac Pro is slow at the opening of the apps?
Compare to the other mac, my mac pro is so slow at the opening of the apps and any other use. Memory is 4 GB and still half store is available. This place since the case open. But other Mac that we have in the House so different from mine. Should I call it Karma? Next to no where my CD player does not read any CD more. If original or a cheap it is not serious. Additionally CDs can only release by restarting my mac.

I'm buying a new MacBook to replace my mid-2010 MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel core 2 duo, 4 GB of memory, which always runs, but becomes slow. I don't think I need retina display (if I have a lot of photos and films on the subject), but I was told that the MacBook Pro without screen retina was an old system that Apple could not support much longer. Is this true?

Apple only can answer such a question, and the terms of use for these forums discourage us discuss what Apple plans to do.
I too have a MBP 2010. I installed an SSD and that increased performance. Consider that as an option.
You may experience other problems that slows down your MBP. Before commit you the important cash for a new MBP, examine the potential software problems that may be responsible for the poor performance. With the SSD, my 2010 works better than the day he came out of the box.

My macbook pro has been gradually becoming slower and slower. The crash of the apps and they take forever to open. Once opened, they are always slow to exploit. I don't have much free space, and despite this, I deleted so recently in the hope that it would be useful, but no luck.

I right click on the video or flash (.swf files) and firefox browser is slow down and 3 ~ 4 seconds later it works
