Click Start, run and type msconfig.
On the Startup tab, uncheck what you think that you don't need running at startup.
Then run a virus scan and AntiSpyware - you can find ones that are free on the net and and make sure you have a firewall too.
Press alt-ctrl-del to bring up the Task Manager and close everything that is running that you think are also unnecessary.
Overall be careful; confirm and backup before doing the things mentioned.

I tried several times to get a solution to this problem. There is a program running in the background on my computer. It blocks my mouse and I can even hear a clatter, as when you connect a camera to your computer, or disconnect. My computer has been analyzed by microsoft help and support was in my computer several times, and accomplished yet nothing worked. Sometimes my mouse freezes every few seconds until it is maddening.
original title: hopelessIt seems that you have tried a number of bugs so far without success. Here are some suggestions of what I'm going to try:
You mentioned a background current program, if it helps:
Perform a clean boot to determine if background programs interfere with your game or program
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/331796How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135Don't forget to follow step 7: reset the computer to start as usual in the link above to return the computer to normal startup.
I would also check the updates for your video card driver. Find the latest Windows Vista drivers for your specific computer model with the support site for your computer manufacturer. Be sure to get the right drivers for your specific version of Windows Vista, for example, 32-bit or 64-bit.
If your mouse is a USB model, it can be useful to check the latest drivers for your motherboard (chipset) Vista to the support site for the manufacturer of the computer. Also, since you're here you can check for the other updated drivers for your system, i.e., audio, LAN (network), etc.
Computer manufacturers
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/contact-support/computer-manufacturersIf you have the graphics card Intel integrated, you can check on the website below:
Update utility graphics card Driver Intel
http://www.Intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphicsIf you have a dedicated graphics card, you will need to check with the card manufacturer, the two most often used are linked below:
NVIDIA driver downloads

http://support.AMD.com/us/GPUDOWNLOAD/pages/index.aspxIf you have not done so, see the support site of the manufacturer of the mouse for the Vista updated drivers, known issues with your specific models or known solutions.
An element that may cause unpredictable problems that are extremely difficult to identify are (live RAM) memory errors, Windows Vista has a built-in for system RAM check utility:
How will I know if my computer has a memory problem?

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/using-Vista-Windows-Memory-Diagnostics-tool/To perform a more complete test is the use of Memtest86 but is more complex, includes the creation of a CD bootable for the test, it is not really something for difficult burn an .iso file downloaded to a blank disc (available in the free download link) and then boot from the CD.
Memtest86

Hello
I recently downloaded some drivers using the software "Drivermax" and in doing so, I restarted my computer Dell Windows XP, whom he treated and Startup logo XP deleted monitor on me but the system is still running. There no display no matter what he went completely empty on me. I tried restarting several times more and it begins as bright until properly on newspaper and he then he goes empty dark again on me. I tried the BIOS setting, but nothing happens... I believe that I have installed the drivers screwed something... I well surly need help here.
Thank you
DaveI gave it try but without success. No idea how to install the driver in safe mode
You could use the system restore and roll back to a point just before that you have installed the drivers.
A little advice about these utilities "update Driver", ditch just them! Basically, they cause more harm than good, and some of them are dangerous simple! You don't need those utilities and nine times out of ten people update their drivers for no other reason that they think that the new drivers are better than work perfectly those they already have.

Windows XP Home Edition. Magic jack starts when I boot system and I don't want it. How can I fix
Hello
With the help of MS Config is always a good option, but you must be sure of what you are doing here because there are number of programs and services that are running,
If you want to think easy and simple, you can use windows defender if you don't have the program, you can download it here
After you install windows defender
You can open to Defender
Click on tools
Click Software Explorer
And choose Magic Jack and disable at startup,
You can also use this program to disable other programs you don't want to start when loading/starting allow your computer startup and load faster.

[Moved from comments]
Start the Task Manager and look at the Scriptures in the process tab (click the name image CPU to sort)
Even with closed programs several background processes are running

How can I remove the bookmarks that are no longer used.
I have a list of bookmarks on firefox. Many are more used.
How can I remove the individual bookmarls of my list.
Tried to highlight and delete them, but that does not work...You can right click and delete, select and use the key "Delete", or remove
multiple bookmark click to the left of the favorite icon, and then add more with "Ctrl + click"
or spread with "Shift + click" then delete. You can remove bookmarks as described for the deletion of history in
The reference to bookmarks won't in the details, because it is in the article above.
You will be perhaps easier to delete bookmarks you don't want in the list of the bookmarks library. As noted in the article to bookmark sorting you can view and sort by additional columns, I recommend installing the extension "Show Parent Folder" link is in the article to bookmark, unfortunately that you can add the column is not sortable, but it provides valuable information.

How do I know what programs run in background
HelloWI want to know if there is a way by which we can know what the programs running in the background that use the network
Help, pleaseThere are specialized tools that can help you, it depends on what you want or need to do.
But freebies in Windows 7 are "msconfig" and "task manager".
in "search programs and files" type "msconfig" (without quotes) press key. In the system configuration window that opens, look in the
tab. This will give a list of a few programs that will be launched at startup. In addition, in msconfig, click the
tab and click on "resource monitor" then . In the resource monitor, click the tab to give an idea of what programs are using your network interface. Right-click your taskbar, and then click "start Task Manager". Look in
and , to get an idea of what is running. By default your user process list, then click "Show processes from all users" in the process to see extra tab. More information - msconfig - http://www.netsquirrel.com/msconfig/msconfig_win7.html
-Task Manager - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Task_Manager
NOTE: But you don't only things "willy nilly", you need to understand what service/process done what before you start or stop anything.
What info do you need?

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:
Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.
You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.
Search for malware: (Yes, please do)
Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:
Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)
Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Delete everything is found.
Reset.

How to close programs that are running in the background and what services are safe cut
under windows xp with sp3, I hear something running in the background, but no photo with her, how I close it, also how do you know which windows services are safe to clog then start and stop can be a little faster?
For performance tweaks that I would recommend looking at http://www.tweakxp.com/performance_tweaks.aspx they have a great compilation of good settings you can do and more are step by step, so even the most novice person can perform these tasks. Insofar as something running in the background of his always possible, you have some kind of malware running I want to run a scan for these emissions.
