Small windows opened by Web sites went upstairs to the left at the bottom right on a pc
The small windows allowed that sometimes pop up when I click on a link in, say, a Web site of the Bank, always used to appear in the upper left corner of the screen. But since last month, or so they started appearing in lower-right instead. (I don't know whether or not it was parallel with the update of FF 3.6.15 to 3.6.16).
I can move a window individual back manually to the top left corner, but I want to repeat here opening by default, as they always correctly on my another FF 3.6.16 pc.
I tried all kinds of travel, window resizing, etc., but that has no effect on where they open next time. All click-product allowed small windows are always open at the bottom right at the place at the top left because they always used (and still do on my other FF 3.6.16 pc).

When Firefox opens a pop-up window with a Web site, it comes up blank - what to do?
It happened when I was on the site of Medicare, I think also when I tried to print an invoice in Amazon, and a Web site, I use all the time that I subscribe to-normally Firefox opens a new window with the information, but the window with the blue in the looking albums bar as I could get into a website to go , but it won't be the same white, let me do that - everything is non-functional. I tried enabling the pop-up windows, but that did not help. This has happened once before and I had to reset the whole thing, which has been a major concern. I really want to do so I hope someone can help!
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Windows 7 won't let me open a Web site
I have a Windows 7 system computer and impossible to open a Web site, that I've used before. Everytime I try I get the message "your browser has blocked this site to install an ActiveX on your computer. Click on options. "So I click on options and when I see"Install this add-on for all users on this computer"I select it. Problem solved, right? No, then I get "Windows has blocked this software because it cannot verify the Publisher". Can someone tell me how to get around this problem? I did ask Windows to verify the Publisher. I know the site and have used it many times before with other computers and Windows XP. If anyone can help me with this I would be very happy. Bill in Cleveland

Everytime I open a new site, that a small vibrant advertising opens on the bottom right of the page. It is said "you can win etc" and I can't get rid of this box. When I click on this box, opens a web page:

You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.- http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

How to open 2 sites on start and 1 Web site when you click the home button?
How to open 2 sites on start and 1 Web site when you click the home button?
You can change your shortcut on the desktop Firefox with two starting URLS. To try:
- Shortcut on the desktop: right-click on the icon, choose Properties
- Icon taskbar pinned: clic click right on the icon, right click in Mozilla Firefox, click on properties
Windows normally selects the shortcut tab. If this is not the case, go ahead and click on the shortcut tab.
You will see the target highlighted. On 64-bit Windows, which is usually either not less the following:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
For the specific shortcut launch pages, you can add them to the end, for example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -url "http://www.dilbert.com/" -url "http://www.gocomics.com/pearlsbeforeswine"
After OK'ing the Properties dialog box, you can test everything right now to confirm that Firefox is now launching a window with tabs. Either:
- Double-click the shortcut on the desktop
- right click on taskbar icon pinned, click Mozilla Firefox

When I opened a Web site, it seems quite wrong. Everything is white and all centered page to the left. I checked Firefox by pressing the ALT key, and it is already set to "basic page style". So there must be something else.

Using Firefox 4 and Windows 7. Whenever I have to start Firefox from a shortcut to a Web site, what happens with the following error "there was a problem sending the command to the program". The requested site is loaded after that. without any problem.
If a shortcut is used while Firefox is already open the error will not occur.
For me, the problem was the FoxClock extension. Once I disabled it, the problem was gone.
Hope this helps.

Error number: 8DDD0020 from the Windows Update Catalog WEB SITE
Error number: 8DDD0020 the Windows Update Catalog WEB site.
This clean install Windows 7 Ultimate SP1.
I would like to stress that this is not a malfunction of Windows Update. This works well for me.
It's Web Site (http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx), which, at the entrance, he correctly opens and gives error 8DDD0020.
I tried various fixes but again, they were for Windows Update, which continues to work well and is not the problem.
Also be redirected to SmartShopping.com with offers for fix.
MS Security essentials and MS analysis tool fails to find the problems. Never installed Norton.
Have reset IE - 11 and re-record all the DLLs of Windows Update twice.
Please advice, thank you.

I understand the solution, but my problem has been resolved differently with a repair reinstall, because of another problem.
Thanks for your interest.
See you soon.

How can I open a Web site in html mode
I used to insert a meta tag, but I don't know how to open a Web site in HTML so that it can be edited.
Hello Carlo, Firefox does not include a built-in Web site editor.
I thought you (1) use an online tool provided by the package of your e-shop, or by your host, for editing files in a browser, or (2) change the files locally and then download (often using an FTP client).
