  I have a new BB Curve 8330.

  Before I used a cell and a Palm Tungsten E2.

  I managed to export/import data from Palm to BB (via Microsoft Outlook).

  I thought that the Blackberry will be delivered with its software for calendar/contacts/tasks - but I see only synchronize with Outlook.

  I want to continue to use the Palm Desktop software and sync it on Blackberry.

  It seems that it's not possible.

  Is it?

  I have the habit of the Palm E2 and never used Outlook before. I like the features of Palm but BB does not work with it. Why does this work?

  Any advice would be much appreciated!

  You will not be able to use the Palm and Blackberry at the same time. BB does the synchronization only with Outlook. But the good news is that Palm will also sync with Outlook. If nothing is lost.

  Sync the Palm to Outlook, and then synchronize the Blackberry to Outlook. Continue to use Outlook. You will have no need of the Palm is useless since once you have all the info in your Blackberry.

  The functionality that a single out of the BB, it's that you don't have a portable documents, as it is in the Palm. I hope that manufacturers will think about fixing that in a couple of new editions to come.

  I love my Blackberry and it is easy to forget that it is so different from the Palm.

  If you like your Palm and can not get used to the BB then I suggest you get a Palm of Cingular ATT phone.

  I've learned it's pretty fast and I gave my cousin my Palm E2.

  Now, everything depends on how fast learner you are and how open you are to new.

  I loved my Curve 8330 from Verizon who was running v4.3.0.127 (Platform 3.1.0.72) and had the BB Dimension icon theme. When the ring around the ball fell, the company gave me a nifty new Verizon Curve 9330 6.0 Bundle 1741 (v6.0.0.431, platform 4.4.0.315), running with the theme "BlackBerry 6 f...". "by default (can not read the whole name of it). I'm usually very happy for advancements in technology, but after having this phone for a little over a week, I'm ready to throw into the river! I just want my old phone back!

  Is it possible to replace the software on my new 9330 with the version I had on my 8330? I have the 8330 yet and the disks that came with it. Or, if this is not possible, the BB Dimension icon theme are for the version of the software that I use on the 9330? Anyone know where to find?

  If this does not work, if I had to find a replacement 8330 phone, does anyone know if I could find even the old software that I liked so much?

  I just bought my first BB Curve 8330, through Verizon.  I noticed that some downloads will not install on my BB via the Manager of office (like the game of Sudoku) free on this site.  The office displays an error message indicating "no additional applications designed for your device were found".  Are there restrictions based on the provider of telephone service with regard to this software I can install it on my BB?

  I just changed the inclination of AT & T for the Curve 8330 on Verizon's network, and so far I'm in love. I'm having a problem however, the "Media" icon is missing and I can't seem to get it back.

  All to nothing does not.  The media icon is still missing. Any ideas?

  Nevermind, I'm a * beep *. Apparently the media icon has been moved to the file 'Documents To Go', and I just had to bring it back up to the main screen.

  I am a newbie to BB but recently received for the work.  My problem is trying to transfer the contacts from my old cell phone (Sanyo SCP-7050) on my new Curve 8330.  I took it to my local Sprint store, and they said that contacts can be transferred because the BB was registered on a BES.  The Bluetooth connection no longer works, I guess for the same reason.

  I don't have a chance, or there at - it another way, I can enter my BB contacts?  I have contacts stored as individual card (.vcf) and was hoping there is a way to use the micro SD card to load them on somehow.

  Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

  Since you're on BES, why don't you just DL your vcf to your PC and import them into Outlook? Then BES will be responsible to your BB.

  I have the following problem with my BB Curve 9320: several times per day email stop and I can't use the Internet (while telephone calls normally).

  Whenever this happens I have to disconnect and reconnect to the network. As soon as I reconnect to the network again starts the flow of electronic mail and Internet is available.

  I contacted my mobile operator (wind, Italy) and told me that it is not for lack of wind, but a technical problem of the phone.

  Try one of the following - option

  1. when your device is turned on, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery. This do a reboot your device that addresses minor issues with the BlackBerry.

  2. KB17877 how to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

  3. have a backup of your device data and then have a security wipe. Options > Security > Security Wipe. Enter "blackberry" without the quotes. This will delete all your data from the device.

  4. consider the update/reinstall the OS device.

  Please try this > on your Homscreen to open your browser > press the Menu key > Options > scroll down to clear browsing data (mark all fields) and then click clean now.

  Once it's done perform a reboot of traction battery like that, even if your device is power on remove the battery, wait for a min. then reinsert back. After restarting, please check if you are able to check your email.

  Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. Apparently '3' is not from the same upgrade as O2.
