Smartphones with apps blackBerry problem

Hello

I have my Blackberry curve 9300 for 7 months already and a couple of days, two of my apps just be removed by themselves - facebook and the Blackberry app world. I have tried to reinstalled them both many times but each time, an error occurred and installation is not finished. One of the messages that are displayed, says there is a problem with the Internet, which is not true. I browse different websites without any problems.

I tried to install facebook even through their Web site, but market... it means only: an error has occurred, please try again later.

I rebooted the device and tried again, but it did not work...

Could someone help me?

    O2 - UK sent me a new Blackberry Curve 8520 today after that my old phone was not repairable. I had a lot of problems to download Blackberry App World, but I managed to download it later. I downloaded the Facebook app, but when I tried to use this message came: "you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application, please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan"can someone tell me what this means and what I need to do to use Facebook on my Blackberry? All responses appreciated

    Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    I think you need exactly as says the message... contact your wireless service provider. You have switched to a new BB... they must also pass all your accounts 'back-end'... and this message, I would infer that they have yet to complete this task.

    Good luck!

    It is a combined work, so using enterprise server, but 1.5 version used to work properly and things like msn messenger and myspace application also work. I reinstalled several times and followed up with the battery pull. Is there anything else I can do? Or does anyone know where to get the 1.5 version so that I can go back to that?

    Thank you

    OK - this has been fixed! Contacted Vodafone and they told me that my BlackBerry had not been in service for internet access. They did something their end, and bingo, application works like a charm! Not really sure it was worth all the hassle, but there you go.

  • Problems of Smartphones with WIFI blackBerry without a data package (network of curve 8520 O2 - UK)

    Hi all

    Sorry if it sounds a little vague but a buddy of mine has one just entered into the world of the blackberry and some problems, so I thought that I try and help out. It is not the data packet at the moment (trying to persuade, but thinks he can take the time lol) and attempts to use the wifi on the phone to access the internet at home. The phone is connected to its network and has received an IP address but still does not seem to let you browse the web.

    The browser settings have changed to the hotspot browser and I think the preference of connection has been replaced by a preferred WI - fi connection. Are there settings I can change that I may have missed that could help or is it something that has been locked by O2 to make you buy the data service?

    Thanks for any help.

    Robb

    If you have the hotspot active browser, should all needed.

    Go in manage connections > in the first section, to WiFi, is the WiFi network name listed, and what is right, a green check mark, dash white or what?

    Now click on manage connections > status of Services. What is next to the heading "WiFi network", active profile, etc.?

  • Bluetooth blackBerry Smartphones with Mercedes Comand problem

    Hello

    I have all of a sudden the problem as soon as I start my car and switch on the radio of my "BOLD" as normal connects to the radio control benz Scott but as soon as the connection is that the Radio is on from. If I browse to the phone of the command section, I can see the screen but can not dial all numbers etc all that I'm allowed to do is turn the microphone on or off. IT seems that the system thinks that I am already in a call, but can't let him. As soon as I turn off the Bluetooth on my radio bolt lights up again? I have reset the whole system now twice and coupled to the phone with command from the beginning again and still get the same problem.

    Any idea for pretty funny, I can make a call using the command but need to dial into my "BOLD" to do?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello. Problem is solved. All the funny start, I have done in the end took the battery out of my phone and when I started againissue with Mercedes command has been resolved. So not sure what started the problem in the first place, but I'm glad its done now.

  • Using my jaw with App blackBerry smartphones music

    I was not able to get my Pearl 8130 to recognize my jaw in order to listen to Podcasts using the music application. He does not even recognize it in the Options menu so that I can activate it. Properties of the device from the list under services jaw, but not "sink Audio", "Helmet" (or for that matter "has / V remote control target" or "has / V remote control ') like my Motorola S9. Is it possible to get the app music to give some love to my jaw? Or is it the jaw that poisons relationships?

    jaw don't suport a2dp. which means that he will not play your music through the headphones like the fact your s9. However, there are different formats, which will play in the jaw. as different types of sounds and things like that... but for the music, it will be bad quaility. If you are looking for a helmet that will play your MP3 and then find a defined head that will support a2dp. Jabra has a very good headset that works. I use it all the time while im working and nobody knows im listening to music, I don't have the volume all the way to the top.

  • Z10 Z10 Contact with BBM blackBerry problem

    I recently updated my Z10 via BB link to the version of the 10.2.0.424 software and since then something strange happens with my contacts. I search for a name using the APP contact and dial the number of the office. After the call, the contact name is always displayed in my contacts list, but when I open the contacts to view the details, the name has been replaced with a BBM PIN code #. The PIN is also appearing in the list of calls instead of the name. The name is still in the list of contacts. Here's the weird thing in a case the BBM PIN # is for the BlackBerry phone staff people and not used for his work (the number in which I called him) he does not use his personal phone for business or work email. How did you personally BB PIN # end up on my phone?

    I'm looking for by all positions with loading problems as my Curve 8900 finally begins act weird. When using the wall charger Blackberry, the LED flashes but the battery will never change. I got another charger that adapt and worked from a different manufacturer, but he began to do the same. In fact, when I tried last recharge, my curve began to refuse to start. I connected to my laptop and then it started to load and has been good during the past few days.

    Currently, I wonder something my wife told me that there is a limit to how many times you can load a blackberry using the USB port on the computer. I am also looking to buy a new charger too.

    Is there documentation on default Chargers? My curve is about 3 years old now.

    All answers and assistance is greatly appreciated.

  • File with app folder problem

    Hi everyone, I was wondering what could be causing my problem. When I build and launch in my application works fine load a ROM from its own cluster of debug files. When I compile as liberation, it suddenly seems to not be able to load the file in memory. My built in logging tells me that the file can be opened but simply not reading in memory as the following code

    strcpy(filenamechars, filePath.c_str());
        std::ifstream file;
        file.open(filenamechars, std::ios::out | std::ios::binary);
        if((file.fail() != 0))
            {
                mainLog.message = "FAILURE AHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHA GOTCHA (TEH ROM WONT REAAD!!!)\n";
                mainLog.writeMessage();
            }
        file.seekg(0, ios::beg);
        int begin = file.tellg();
        file.seekg(0, ios::end);
        int end = file.tellg();
        int length = end-begin;
        file.seekg(0, ios::beg);
        if(length > 0xDFF)
        {
            #ifdef LOGGING_CHIP8
            mainLog.message = "TEH FILE IS TOOO BIG ABOOOORTT LOADINGGG!!!\n";
            mainLog.writeMessage();
            #endif
            return;
        }
        char readArray[0xDFF] = {0x00};
        for(int a = 0; a < 0xDFF; a++)
        {
            readArray[a] = 0;
        }
        file.read(readArray, length);
        #ifdef LOGGING_CHIP8
        if((file.fail() != 0))
        {
            mainLog.message = "FAILURE AHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHA GOTCHA (TEH ROM WONT REAAD!!!)\n";
            mainLog.writeMessage();
        }

    Tells me that the rom will not read. Somewhere, something goes a little wrong or something similar. It is incredibly difficult to see that the way in which this happens only in the debug version. Now notice that the following code is running quite well.

    std::ifstream file;
        char filenamechars[0x200];
        strcpy(filenamechars, filePath.c_str());
        file.open(filenamechars);
        if (!file.is_open())
        {
            #ifdef LOGGING_CHIP8
            mainLog.message = "This ROM seems to not be opening... ITS LIKE ITS NOT THERE!!! :O\n";
            mainLog.writeMessage();
            #endif
            return false;
        }
        else
        {
            file.close();
            #ifdef LOGGING_CHIP8
            mainLog.message = "This ROM opens! :D\n";
            mainLog.writeMessage();
            #endif
            return true;
        }

    Very strange no?

    This is normal: when your application is installed in development mode (if the debug or not), you can make changes to its assets in order to solve problems of implementation as quickly as possible, without a long package and deployment cycle.

    The assets of an app in release mode is frozen.

    Sometimes the changes show that after a reboot, remove the battery and restart.

  • Smartphones with Verizon blackBerry torch

    I have a blackberry "BOLD", but I really want the torch. However, my career is Verizon. I wonder if I can buy the torch at a place like Walmart or where ever else they are sold and then use with Verizon. Or is it impossible? Should I move to AT & T to get the torch?

    No, sorry, the Torch 9800 has not the CDMA network that uses Verizon.

    You can use the torch on ATT or Tmobile, and a few small businesses of GSM in the United States, but not on Verizon or Sprint.

  • Stock of Smartphones with 9000 blackBerry headset

    Mods: if it's in the wrong location, feel free to move it to the correct device.

    I have a 9000 "BOLD" by ATT. My OS is 4.6.0.167. I use the stock headphones that came with my camera. I quite like them and how they fit. However, I was wondering if it would be possible to change the key on that response to hang up, rather than mute. I looked through the options under settings, as well as the options of the phone, but I don't see anything.

    Any suggestions?

    Try pressing the button and holding it until the call hangs up.

    Should disconnect after 1-2 seconds.

    See you soon... R
