SMS charged?

If the sender send me an sms via iMessage, because there is no internet, I take my mobile company to receive even I have internet?

If the message is sent as an SMS, you may be charged by your operator for a SMS based on what rate structure is in place. In order for a message to be sent in an iMessage, both parties have some type of access to data.

  • FaceTime international calls

I have yet to find, or get a clear answer to this question.  I asked this question to the ministries of service clients cell phone operating and searched on the web.  If I do a FaceTime (video or audio) call VOIP (not WiFi) to a person who lives in and a one service in another country (e.g. Italy) count towards the use of data or not is considered an international call with associated carrier charges.  And this question is for the four major U.S. carriers, so if they are different please indicate how.

    Thank you

    Milton

FaceTime uses a Wi - Fi connection or data cell, period.

For some carriers, an International SMS is sent to the Apple server for the connection.

Waived taken operators supported the SMS charges. Talk to your operator on this subject.

  • I sent 2 SMS to the iPhone even from the same location 1 hour out. Why I was charged for the second message, but not the first?

I sent 2 SMS on the phone even in the same place 1 hour apart. I was charged for the second message, but not the first. Why charge me? I was under the impression that the messages sent between iPhones are free?

I was under the impression that the messages sent between iPhones are free?

It's a little more complicated than that.

If the message is sent as an iMessage (blue) uses the data that could be part of your cellular data allowance or WiFi depending on what you are connected to. If it is sent as SMS (green) it takes however your carrier charges you for SMS.

For a message to be sent in an iMessage, both parties need to have a device capable of iMessage (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Mac), iMessages allowed to have (settings > Messages > iMessage > on) and be connected to the data (Wifi or cellular).

  • I am charged for international SMS, I don't have

I just bought a new iPhone and noted that I was charged for international SMS, I do not have. When checking with my mobile operator, it seems, he had all the numbers of UK. They claimed that this happens only with iPhones. users of the iPhone to several chat lines confirmed that they had the same problem and said it was related to FaceTime and iMessage. No idea if this is true and advice how to avoid these charges?

To avoid these fees, use a supported wireless provider. Part of becoming

a supported wireless provider, it's that the cellular carrier is committed to not charging

the user of the iPhone for international SMS used to activate FaceTime and/or

    iMessage.

Go to settings, scroll to the entry for FaceTime and the toggle switch

display is greener (when it's not green, FaceTime is off).

Settings-online Messages, the switch for iMessage.

TL; Dr. If you continue to use FaceTime or iMessage, use a support

suppliers of wireless or pay for the SMS required for activation.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Do not receive SMS Messages in my charger to 2013 with Uconnect

I have a Z10 paired with my charger of 2013 with uConnect (RE2).  I can make calls, but I don't get notification of SMS messages through the system.  My old Curve 9360 used to work properly with my Grand Caravan 2012 and uconnect for texting.

Is there an incompatibility between BB10 and uconnect?

    10.2.1.1925 OS version

I have no way of knowing... I don't have a UConnect system, do not not an identical experience. But on my Honda Civic, 2013, everything comes through in the car very well display/voice system. Thus, one could guess that indeed there is an incompatibility between your specific UConnect system and your specific version of the BB10... but, as the KB has suggested to, check the compatibility of Chrysler could be a useful thing to do for you.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS spam messages in charge $2 / day

I received the unwanted sms text once a day, do not know how to block / it's a contest, only reference is 88588, but no email. I'm currently busy day $2,00 on my data plan and I do not know how to get this to stop? Any ideas appreciated mucho

What type of SMS and what the content of that TEXT? Usually you carrier can allow you to find out which service has subscribed to the service by your mobile number. As you mentioned that you will need to pay the forfeit then I guess you get the WAP Push messages and generally they are sent from the portal WAP from carriers. Contact your carrier customer support for information about how to unsubscribe.

  • Would I be charged for international calls if I have friends in another country if we use the two wifi?

I have a friend who is in Germany, and I was texting and facetiming him large amounts of time. Would I get charged for using wifi or is it free?

Yes, texting, you will be charged for an international SMS, iMessage & FaceTime won't if you use only a wi - fi connection. You can only iMessage and FaceTime with other iOS device. So, since it is another iOS device, if you use iMessage (a bubble of blue text), then that is just data and would not result in not international calls. FaceTime, using a wi - fi connection, once again is just data, and incurs no international calling rates.

  • iMessage activation - it generates SMS to00447786205094

    Hello

While the national roaming in Delhi, India, I was accused cool SMS for SMS sent to 00447786205094.  To the best of my knowledge, I had not sent SMS to the number. When I checked with my Airtel service provider, they responded to me with the message below.

I would understand if the following statement is true.

This is the first time that this kind of accusations have been levied on my account.

I wish to inform you that the SMS was started at 00447786205094, which is the Apple server to the United Kingdom from an iPhone for authentication of iMessage and Face Time.

This SMS cannot be blocked from our end. In case you want to avoid these fees in the future, I ask you kindly turn off iMessage through settings of your phone.

    Yes it's true.

If you are roaming on a network not supported wireless, you will be charged for the SMS.

  • Companies in the country of residence, said Apple devices can send sms from one country to another unless the owner knows. If it's true there at - it an explanation why and how to stop this shit.

Recently, in Albania, I have an mobile number, and normally they have offers and their packages on calls and sms. the sticky thing is they also have the option to go short of the amount you paid. But that's only if you activate and I know that you can go out, even if it's a prepaid number, strange o my eyes and strange i just that apple can send sms to the United Kingdom without I know and this power use iPhone like at the beginning, but never seen anything like this.  Mainly I mind because of confidence in the company and the product, not because it s a small amount of monye, but because I have no idea and I'm checking all my sms with this strange issue that i don't know who he is.

How ever I'd like to know can´t it possible to a iPhone can send sms without I know number that I have no idea as I have registered it in my cell phone. So what to do, before I report it to the authority and the Police because it seems like a fraud. And I don't want to pay for something I've ever used.

If your device sends an SMS to the United Kingdom, it seems that you are referring to the SMS activation for iMessage and FaceTime. It is a text Message hidden so check with the Apple server to the United Kingdom. If you are using media supported for the iPhone, they normally do not charge for these SMS, so I think that you are not using a supported carrier. If you have tried to enable iMessage and/or FaceTime, which is the cause. You should contact your operator to find out if they support iMessage and FaceTime. If this isn't the case, then you can not use these features.

It is not Apple to inform you of your phone, send international SMS. Your network provider is one that informs you of the international charges. It is usually noted in the terms of your contract/agreement with your wireless operator. Know who your carrier is and then watch the General Conditions and communicate with them. Unfortunately, Apple, can help you with charges to send SMS International.

  • Skype is spamming my phone with sms

HI, I have a contact who sent me a sms as 24 hours ago, and Skype is continuously spamming my phone with the same message. 43 counted up to now.

You * beep * ing nuts?!!?!

    Is this a joke?

Thanks Elaine for the effort and the time you took to answer, but I finally found a fix. I connected to Skype on my side, and once the electronic have been read in Skype, they stopped being sent to my phone. I'm guessing there is a timing issue with Skype and the sms service on the confirmation that the sms was sent successfully. The sender of the SMS has been charged only with the two original messages and not for copies.

Long story short, if anyone has this problem once again, it's nothing to worry about (apart from the incredible annoyance of spam). Sign in to Skype, and they will disappear. I just hope that this does not occur for people who receive the sms but do not have a Skype account that the sender attached the slide box number to.

  • Apple music charge $11.99 per month despite Telstra free 24 month subscription

I bought an iPhone 6s (carrier) Telstra in October, which came with a free month subscription 24 music Apple (or trial as it is technically).

I put in place the trial using the SMS activation, Telstra sent me, on my AppleID.

Since then, every month I get charged $11.99 per iTunes store for individual membership of Apple's music.

I went to the 'Report A problem' section, but the purchases are not listed. However, they are in my purchase history in iTunes and on my bank statement. They take the money.

The worst thing is, I have disabled the service a few months ago (as Spotify is much better in my opinion) and they are still charging me.

I can't find any resolution or thread to cover this - is there is direct phone and E-mail, you can request such requests to? If it continues, Apple will charge me $ 288 for something that I accept to pay for, and I do not use more than 2 years.

Help would be very appreciated. I would like to know if I need to share more details to clarify the above.

    Thank you.

How have you been on disable your subscription?

To get their hands on Apple, e-mail iTunes support by going to http://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.
